Since I already have 3 other servers on Hostwinds, I am familiar with their great customer service. Any time that I need help, the chat attendant offers to create a ticket and the problem is solved by their top notch support staff.

I signed up for a shared hosting account about a week ago, but did not get around to using it until yesterday. While exploring the various features, I noticed that the SSL was not working properly. I used the chat feature to inquire about it, the attendant got if fixed in a couple minutes. The interface is simple and has all the tools that I need and then some.

Simply outstanding

Title says it all: I am receiving simply outstanding service from any perspective.The server my website is hosted on is stable and fast, I have zero downtime. Support team are extremely quick and highly skilled, they are able to solve hard issues in minutes.The most pleasant part is their price, I pay just $4.5/month and get everything I want and even more!

Teething issues but support was great!

I have used Hostwinds for about 5 months now for my personal website, and it has been great. Reliable uptime (99.9% guarantee), and decent customer support (works 24/7 and really helpful) on several occasions when I've had trouble with my site.

Your verification process can be better.

Company requires too much information for verification. To verify a US Citizen is too easy. Why not take the person's name or ID and enter the information on any background check app and get the details instead of requesting that many documents be sent.

Good but a couple of speed bumps

The product naming is confusing. I bought the Reseller Web Hosting product because the website explained Reseller White Label was different, but after I logged in my package was called White Label. I thought i bought the wrong thing but the customer service person told me they are the same thing. I'm still not sure the difference. Also, after installing WP and bought a domain from Hostwinds, my site did not load. Since everything originated from Hostwinds, it should have just worked. I had to issue a support ticket. The next morning the problem was resolved and I'm liking everything else so far.

I operate a very low volume website on wordpress and with a near $20/m plan it wasn't even capable of using the wordpress control panel. Overloaded shared servers or terrible allocation. I've foolishly used them for nearly 4 years and am extremely glad to have switched. Cheaper and infinitely faster. Never use Hostwinds.

I'll start with price - it their weakest point, too high in such highly competitive market.
However their service is reliable and decent, you will get all needed features, useful soft and high uptime with your account. Support is also available for all the time and you are free to ask them any question anytime. Overall they deserve 4/5 but I see they have potential to improve their ranks.

Any time we have any problems or any need for anything these guys get right on it. They have given us support for every problem in less than an hour and have gone so far our of their way to ensure we are satisfied with their services. Compared to the others, Hostwinds give more bang for the buck in their different hosting packages. Other web hosts limit how many domains you can use and then give you great amount of bandwidth.

I am extremely pleased using Hostwinds service.
I am only semi-literate on most tech issues, but their instantly available live support have helped me immensely. Any hosting company can brag about their uptime and reliability, but these people really deliver the goods. Their pricing is a great value. Their speed is rock solid. And they are just really good people to deal with.

Right after month have passed since I bought web hosting from Hostwinds I have decided that I found host for years. Now I can say they have not disappointed me. Their technical staff expertise is at high level that makes their servers rock-solid and service smooth. Also they are quick in solving issues of any difficulty. When you get good service you don't sorry about wasted money and you are ready to give even more, that is what I feel with Hostwinds.

Ive been with hostwinds now for a couple of months after having hosting accounts with larger companies. I can say without reservation that hostwinds have been and remain to be the best hosting company Ive used. I have 2 accounts with this host at the moment and should I ever require another, or an increase in one of my packages I know that obtaining these will be a pain free process. Servers are extremely reliable, site speed is great and support is 1st class, combine all that with great pricing and I cant recommend them highly enough!

I have just recently taken the plunge and moved hosting company, something that has very defiantly not been done on a whim! I have spent months looking at alternatives and finally chose HostWinds. As an IT Director, this has to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. The transition was made so easy by the staff, in particular Adam and Darren. I have nothing but praise for this company and wish that all of my other IT suppliers would take a leaf from their book. I never make a recommendation of service, but in the case of HostWinds I will make an exception. If you are still looking and pondering, ponder no more, these guys are so helpful.

Hostwinds are providing fair plans with professional responsive team. To be honest I was truly surprised how high their service is: server uptime 99.99% and network is always solid with no packet loss. Special thanks I'd like to say to their staff. From the very initial interaction to today they were always quick and helpful with any issue.
