I recently used hopper and rented a car. Long long story short. I paid $406 for a car and was supposed to owe $134.44 at the time of pick up. I also purchased extra coverage. I go pick up my car at Indianapolis airport at hertz/dollar. What a mistake. The associate shows me a list of charges and I tell her three times that I've already paid these charges and was making sure I wouldn't get charged again and the associate said " no, just a deposit that's refundable " wouldn't you know I got charged for the whole thing. Now this sounds like. Hertz/dollar issue which it also is but not once has hopper showed me any proof that my money went towards my rental. They said I need to dispute it with dollar. So I got the wrong car, and I'm out $850 for a Nisan Altima for 6 days which was supposed to cost me $540. So I got screwed and haven't gotten as much an an apology. Both receipts are for the same car and have the same reservation number. So either Hoppers payment hasn't been applied or Hertz and Hopper don't in fact work that close with each other. They keep telling me to dispute the other. Take my advice, rent through the direct company this won't save you money. They have not once said im sorry or given me a solution other than. I need to dispute it with the other company. Runnnn from hopper!

On Sept 1,2022 Lufthansa Pilots went on strike, thus cancelling over 800 flights. Of which, one was mine. Hopper was of ZERO assistance in helping me get rebooked, and thus I had to book my own outbound flight.
For the subsequent days— it's currently 11, Hopper reps have been sending me useless "we're still trying to contact the airline" emails, whilst I've already returned home, no thanks to Hopper. Now I want to know where my refund is since I paid for the insurance.
I will NEVER use Hopper again and I suggest you do the same.

I use hopper for all my travel needs. Very accommodating when I needed to rebook a flight. Beat prices!
Although I finally got a resolve for my issue, it wasn't my original ask. The fact that I can't call a support person to resolve an issue is troublesome. The emailing back and forth caused the delay. Original ask of flight change was a different price by the time the change was initiated.
I was having a problem with one of my flight and hooper resolved my issue quickly. They even refunded my money and My flight became free. Thank you hooper. Be like this forever.
Hopper was very prompt, thorough, friendly and made my rebooking process extremely smooth. I am very grateful that I was able to used my flight credit to make my sister's wedding.
I bought a ticket fo 129.000 pesos and my credit card shows 210.000 pesos paid to Hopper.
The rabbit jumps from one price to another without any notice.

Hopper just charged me $24.00 for Flight Delay Rebooking Service Plan (or Flight Delay Guarantee insurance) without my authorization. I bought my plane tickets on 23 August 2022 and they charged them right away on my Credit Card (same day).
However, I saw an extra fee/charge for $24.00 on my credit card on 31 Aug 2022 from Hopper.com. That is the charge that they imposed without authorization for the aforementioned insurance.
After various emails with their customer service (using the App's help option since it seems that is the only way to contact them), they said that this insurance (not authorized by me) cannot be cancelled and is not refundable.
Furthermore, Hopper does not provide trustworthy service. Who does actually need an insurance for flight delays? Those type of issues can be resolved only with the airline.
Whoever buys the plane tickets or vacation packages from Hopper, my best advice is to delete your credit card information right away from their app to avoid future unauthorized charges and fees.
If you have been charged for a service that without your consent, do the following:
1. If you have not done so, delete your credit card information from the Hopper's App.
2. Look for your Hopper's Sales Receipt on your email account to verify your payment. Most of the time they use the email's subject: "Your Hopper receipt and itinerary" followed by your assigned Hopper Booking Code. Verify if you have not accidentally authorized any additional service.
3. Use the Hopper's help in their App to contact their customer service to claim the unauthorized charge to you credit card. All the responses will go to the email that you used to open the account with them. This is very important since all their responses/communication will be documented in your email account and that is your evidence to show your credit card company that you have actually contacted them.
4. When you write a response email to Hopper's customer service, be very specific and let them know that you have not authorized to be charged for that service/insurance.
5. If they deny to refund your money, call your Credit Card Company and report the incident. They will ask to forward the following emails: Hopper's Sales Receipt (the first email that reflects all the original charges); and all the emails made between the company and you about the incident/claim.
6. Once the Credit Card Company have all that information, they will initiate an investigation. It may take up to 90 days to see any results, but it is better than doing nothing about it.
Hopefully this very long review can be used as a prevention tool.

I contact the customer service of this hotel, to explain that the hotel will be under remodeling and will not be able to give me the accommodation service, Hotel Jen in Manila, and they do not communicate, and I communicate and they tell me to wait 24 to 48 hours. And no association communicates with me, I try to talk to the hotel and they tell me that they will not be able to give me the service, I talk to hooper and I explain again, that they will be closing operations since September 1. And now I receive an email that they cancel me and that they are not going to return my money. I have never had this type of experience and I just have to tell him that it is terrible and that they do not use this app.

Its said my flight was going to be 230 $. I declined everything extra. Then i checked my bank and i was charged 260$. So i I ust canceled the flight. Going back to expedia no nextras ever charged on expedia

HOPPER provided amazing customer service. Very understanding and responsive with the last minute cancellation request caused by bad weather. Hopper assisted with facilitating a refund after the cancellation deadline. I highly recommend HOPPER!

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
