Awful!

Booked flight and hotel in June for Vegas. Flight was cancelled to fly home and I spent 14hrs trying to get it resolved and nothing. They refunded the ticket price (which was a fraction of the cost to book new flights). Purchased the insurance and it was still a mess! They refused to cover the cost of new plane tickets and another hotel room. Ended up losing $900 just to get home! We will never use hopper again.

I have booked a flight from destinations inside India. Due to medical reasons, i needed to cancel my flight tickets for 3 of us. Hopper suggested to cancel it from airline company. So i did it. Evidently the refunded money went directly to hopper.
I have tried to contact them.no response. Msg ed on twitter. Have not heard a word. I lost almost 400 cad. Will never recommend.

I was charge $50 extra for VIP consultant, but not even one person could help me online though the charge the money first they got my name wrong in my ticket for which I had to pay $113 extra to the airline to get it corrected. Secondly, I have been asking them to email did responsible hotel so that they can change my booking date, but they didn't do it. They couldn't even change my ticket date. All I heard was sorry for the inconvenience and will get back to you in 24 hours. Counting to 24 hours is three days now already. Never use this app for booking ever. According to my ticket, I have a flight to Fiji in a few hours, but they still haven't been able to assist me.

Horrible customer service

I booked a reservation for a room online that was local after booking it was not. Tried to communicate with hopper and they just ignored all my messages to resolve this matter! Terrible customer service and they did not credit my account or give me a refund, simply took my money for a booking that was incorrect, and was an error in the system.

Terrible app

I don't kno w wheree to begin. Nothing works app can't modify anything phone service is not working eighter please stay away from this app! For a saving of 25 $... unless you want to pay for vip for another 45 $$$ every thing i mean everything is extra not worth it would nobody to get stuck with this terrible company.

I love using hopper to save me money on flights because currently my boyfriend lives in another state and until we have the funds to rent an apartment, we fly to visit each other. Hopper makes buying flights to so easy and especially on my last flight I was able to get over $70 off my tickets by using my carrot cash. One feature I also really like along with the carrot cash is the ability to freeze a flight for a desired period of time until you can pay for it, and then the money you used go freeze the price goes to ur ticket. Plus if the price of the flight went down since you froze it, you can pay the lower price. So happy to have found hopper

BEWARE - DO NOT USE HOPPER
September 27, 2022

I booked flights with Hopper in August 22 having used the app many times pre-pandemic. It would appear that Hopper is no longer owned and run by the same organisation as there is a marked difference in the level of communciation and competency of staff now. I even had issues with the app when first attwmpting to book bit baswd on previous positive experiences, persevered. I should have taken that as an omen.
A couple of weeks later, I was advised of an airline cancellation for one flight and changes to the two other flights. I was told Hopper staff would process a refund for the cancelled flight. Weeks later, its a different person emailing me each time I reach out and now they are telling me I didnt have a booking and to provide evidence, which I obviously have. Unbelievable! They are neither trustworthy nor competent. I stand to lose a significant amount of money and couldnt be more dissatisfied. Whatever, you do, heed this advice - DO NOT USE HOPPER!

There's nothing better!

Hopper has the best deals... completely unimaginable discounts... andmore flexibility than anything else I have come across. I was skeptical initially and I am hooked now.

Turns out I had a problem with one of my bookings. Once I was able to reach customer support my problem was resolved promptly and efficiently.

I recommend Hopper without reservation to everyone!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Booked a flight, needed to change the date of departure date, still within my 24 hours range however it was IMPOSSIBLE to get thru to a live agent. Very awful first time experience, I'll have to stay with my original date of departure but I'll never use this 3rd party hopper service again in future. The app only allows you to do and navigate thru certain things smh. NEVER AGAIN

Scam

Stole my money, I paid them $330 dollars for reservation and canceled 2 hours later said they would refund my money in 5 days haven't seen it yet,
I highly don't recommend

Deceiving advertising
September 20, 2022

On the app when booking my flight, it was clearly mentioned that a carryon bag was included in the price. Once I book my flight and double check on the actual website of the airline, it is not included. I reach out to customer service and they keep saying that a checked bag is not included which I get, but I would expect for a carry on to be included since it was clearly stated when booking.

Waste of my time and money booking with hopper. I would not reccomemd them to anybody.

This was my first time booking and 100% will be my last.

Very deceitful

Made a reservation for a car in Jamaica with Payless. Upon arrival when it was time to pick up my car Payless said they are out of cars was booked when hopper confirmed my reservation. So I showed them on the website where hopper is saying there are cars available and they said hopper is lying to get people pay them. How disgusting. To be in another country without a damn car. Very disgusting company.

Best customer service

I normally do not write reviews, but I was blown away by the quick, professional and excellent customer service received everything from representatives. I was bunked off of a flight, no fault of Hoppers and they were there and rectify my problem. They are reliable and was recommended to anyone!

I had an issue with my car rental after a long day of travel. Fox car rental will not let me rent a car with a debit card, I was given no notice of this and had no way to rent another card. I reached out to Hopper, hoping I could get a refund because Fox would not handle it.
The associates at hopper reached back out on minutes and resolved my issue within 15 minutes. I will always rent through hopper now. Thank you all for your help and support after a rough day!

New to the application, and excited to book a hotel for me and 4 others seeing that hopper was a way pf saving some money, I tried to freeze the price of hotel by paying a deposit pf $100 + dollars. When trying to pay in full a couple days after the app gives me an error. I thought it was my card and tried with a second card. Same issue. I go ahead and contact support where they suggested to cancel the booking. Which i did so following their suggestions. The money was returned as a voucher that can only be used on a hotel and with certain time of "expiration". Customer service never mentioned i would loose my money if i didn't use the voucher or that my money will be not reimbursed to my card if unable to book. After trying to rebook again, the voucher was never applied- i reached again and the told me I picked "pay later " instead of pay now which "pay now"
Option was not there. They suggested to cancel the booming one more time and I did as suggested. For this not charge was done, but my money was still as voucher. After several attempts, i got tired, disappointed and mad. Reached out again and ask for my money to be refunded. Now they are telling me my money cannot be refund by their policies. They just literally kept my money, no service was provided as i ended up not booking with them. Worst experience ever! Really mad that this app literally is stealing from people. Please do not book from them. They are just scammers.

Fast and helpful

The response from hopper is fast, less than a minute. They were genuinely concerned with my issue. We had a medical emergency and had to cancel bookings and flights. They made it very easy and contacted those we couldn't cancel on our own and resolved our issues.

Outstanding!

Over the recent months I've spend a ridiculous amount of time planning for our 40th anniversary, however having Hopper has definitely helped the process! On two separate occasions, we cancelled and needed reimbursement, Hopper responded to my emails immediately and resolved both issues. Their representatives are always prompt, respectful and kind. Their communications are thorough and complete.
I highly recommend Hopper.

I do need to add that we purchased 2 refundable airline tickets through Hopper which were cancelled. Unfortunately, Hopper does not reimburse that "Refundable" purchase of $145.00. :(
