It was just my husband and I for Thanksgiving this year. I had a small turkey combo meal delivered with 1 turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy and cinnamon apples. The total came to 65.00. I should have just bought a few frozen microwave dinners like Swanson's or Marie Calender's as they would have tasted better. Waste of my money and will never order those turkey meals again. They need to just stick with their hams as the are delicious but their turkey is just HORRIBLE!
Looks like this is just a permanent repeat offender. One day after my order and they already tell me they will be delivering after Thanksgiving, which was the reason I ordered the ham in the first place. Why do they promise something they can't deliver? Never buying from this people again.
Please accept our sincere apology for the late delivery of your order. We, at HoneyBaked Ham, take full responsibility for your dissatisfaction. We have refunded you in full, which I know does not make up for the inconveniences we have caused you. We have also emailed you a gift card that can be used at any of our locations, as an added apology. We hope to have the opportunity in the future, to try again, to meet your expectations.
I just received my whole turkey from Honey Baked and was shocked! The 'whole' turkey that is advertised as 11-13 lbs. was the size of a roasting chicken. It will hardly serve '10-12' as noted in the description. I've ordered multiple times in the past, but this one is substantially smaller. I paid $55.95 plus shipping and will now have to purchase another from the grocery store just to have enough for Thanksgiving dinner. Terribly disappointed HB - you've lost a recurring customer for good.
For the price you expect better. We have always enjoyed honey baked hams during the holidays. This year it had so much fat! And something went wrong with the slicing with some as much as 1/2 inch thick. Every other slice was different, some ok others wafer thin and the next one would be extra thick. Only about half the ham was edible due to the fat content inside. Poor quality. Time to find another ham for the holidays.
After waiting on hold for almost 2 hours, while constantly listening to the recording repeat that my wait would only be a few more moments, I get disconnected. Then trying ten more times to call back, I can't even get through to wait again. I don't know what I will do for Thanksgiving short of waiting in line with all the other sad sacks who depended on Honey baked to provide the meal. I wonder if I will ever get my money back.

Ordered Easter ham to be delivered yesterday. It never showed up. Called customer service. They blamed UPS which seems to be the prevailing theme here. Customer service rude and unhelpful. No apology... nothing! Wish I had read reviews prior to ordering. Now I am left scrambling for Easter dinner the day before!
My ham came with no honey glaze on top. When I contacted the Company, they gave me a $20 E card that won't even buy anything out of their catalog. Besides that, they have a $16.95 shipping charge that takes almost all of the credit. I'm not happy with their customer service.
I have purchased many items (hams, turkey breasts, side items and desserts) from Honey Baked Ham over the years. I expect a long line and wait time if the ham is for me and I go to a local store. Yet I also often order online and ship hams to family (for example, my niece every year for perhaps 10 years now). However, Honey Baked Ham prices have reached astronomical proportions. Even with a coupon for 15% off, the price for an 8 lb ham this year was over $8 a pound at over $65. Add to that the lowest shipping cost available -- no matter how early you order -- $18.95! So a ham for 6-8 people is nearly $100, or to put that into perspective, well beyond the price for a complete turkey dinner with all the trimmings if you have it prepared at a local vendor. The food products Honey Baked Ham sells are good... but the prices are really far beyond what they should be priced at. It is a ham... not a gold bar or the Hope diamond.
Both my mother and I ordered for Christmas and both of us had to cancel our cards due to a scam. My card was skimmed during an online order and she received a call that her card did not go through and they needed another card number. I have tried to contact the company and cannot reach anyone or get a response... So just be careful!
The ham was good but delivery dreadful. Our Thanksgiving 2018 ham, despite being ordered weeks in advance, was delivered by UPS one hour before dinner and still cold. For Thanksgiving 2019, UPS dumped the box in the bushes 200 feet from our front door like trash. Thankfully a neighbor found it and delivered it. Honeybaked Ham takes no responsibility and provides no guarantees. Customer service was worthless. May The Force be with you!
More than a month ago, I ordered the largest size ham for Thanksgiving (tomorrow). I called customer service a few days ago to confirm my order. I was assured the ham would be delivered today. Using the tracking number, I checked on it late this afternoon and was shocked to find it hasn't shipped! I called customer service, and horrible service! I was told it might be delivered Friday, but Thanksgiving with more than 20 in our group is tomorrow, not Friday! If you need a ham for a holiday meal, don't count on it! I will never use this company again!
My ham w supposed to arrive today, the day before Thanksgiving. 8:12 p.m. and no ham. Spent 2 hours and 20 minutes on hold only to be disconnected. I'm lucky and have a turkey, but my husband has been looking forward to the ham. CAn't imagine I'll be ordering from them again. So disappointed!

Just brought home a Honey Baked Ham that was 7.6 pounds and it cost $83.74 cents this year. The $5.00 off coupon that was sent to our home was only good for online purchases which I did not realize until I tried to redeem in store it was in fine print. Franchise owner would not let me look at ham in store. Got it home and honey/sugar coating out side coating was only on about 1/3 of the outside and ham was way way too salty this year. We will not buy a Honey Baked again!
Upon opening the 2 half hams I ordered for Christmas dinner, I was horrified to see all the fat, gristle and waste. The cuts were really bad, with some very thick pieces. The ham that I was able to salvage did not taste like their hams used to. I have been a customer for years, but never again!
I ordered a ham for Easter that was to be delivered on 4/10/20. I received confirmation number from Honeybaked but no tracking number from delivery company. I called HB, on hold for 3 hours 10 mins, when I was number 7 in queue my call was picked up and then disconnected. I called back and then was number 487 in line. Could never get thru. I emailed with no response. So, I have no ham for Easter dinner. And yes, my credit card WAS charged for this item. I have been a loyal customer for the past 20 years purchasing at least 10 times a year from this company. NEVER AGAIN- our holiday meal that we were counting on at this difficult time was ruined. Thanks for nothing, Honeybaked Hams. You have lost a good customer.
I would like to rate the taste of Honey baked ham but I can't! Ordered and purchased a ham and when I went to pick it up they had no ham only offered me extra turkey. Can I get some prayers? I'm not getting ham for Thanksgiving this year! Way to go!
I purchased a honey baked ham and saw they that Honey Baked Ham Company changed the sticker weight to not only charge more money but also to extend the expiration date. I have no idea how many times this sticker was changed and how old this ham actually was that my family consumed. Management was absolutely no help at all in assisting in any kind of resolution and to insure the health and safety of their food products.
We recently got a ham from Honey Baked for Thanksgiving 21' and it was pitiful. It was full of fat, they wouldn't let us look at it first and it costed $85.00. Against my better judgment, we just went and got another one for Christmas, hoping it would be better. Same as before. I guess at the end of the day, they still got my hard earned money. Never again.
Website stated open 6:30a on Christmas Eve. Arrived by 7 and was elated to see empty parking lot. However, was met at the door by rude employee who informed me that unless I had a "reservation" they would not sell me anything. Really? I consider their products mediocre at best, but family wanted it. And to turn away customers in this fashion? The least they could've done was let longtime customers know about this restriction. If it's a supply problem, we've all dealt with that. But antagonistic and rude to boot? I'll shop elsewhere from now on!
Four months after receiving a gift card I am still unable to use it. Honeybaked is the most poorly run food business on all fronts that I have ever come across.
I am unable to order anything in store outside of 10lb ham which the employee told me was much more expensive as opposed to ordering online. Multiple customers in front of us came in just like me and walked right out just like me. The website is completely broken and doesn't allow you to order anything besides a ham. On top of that asking for in-store pick up they still charge you shipping and handling. Why even have a brick and mortar location if everything is charged shipping and handling and I can get it delivered to my home directly instead.
Answer: Happy dog, Happy family? Our local store has good turkey but we go mostly for the hams. They are uniquely good
Answer: Hi Simone! The directions are from frozen, please enjoy! :)
Answer: Hi Angela! Our whole turkeys are fully cooked and ready to enjoy. From thawed, take the turkey out of the refrigerator and remove from bag. Place in a roasting pan breast side up then loosely cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until warm. Carve, serve and refrigerate unused portions immediately. From frozen, preheat over to 350°. Remove turkey from bag and place in roasting pan breast side up then loosely cover with aluminum foil and bake for 4 - 4 1/2 hours or until warm. Carve, serve and refrigerate unused portions immediately.
Answer: I wish I did! Instead you get stuck on the phone waiting for 30-40 minutes and then they hang up on you! Trust me…I'm right with you! My Thanksgiving meal that was ordered on 10/31 was ruined!
Answer: Did the same thing to me! Who, wants to eat anything that has been un-refrigerated in a box for 5 days!
