I purchased a ham and three sides for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I even paid extra money to get it shipped in time. I got my package today, which was only two of the same sides, which I did not even order at all. When I tried to call Customer Service, the line said they were closed, even though at the time I called, it was still in the available time frame listed online. Thank you for ruining my Thanksgiving dinner.
If you order online for home delivery and like risking food poisoning, then by all means order from them! My order was shipped on Thursday, suppose to receive the next day and I received an e-mail that my shipment was delayed… to be delivered on MONDAY! Now keep in mind that 5 days in a box, unrefrigerated! The ice packs they use are only good for TWO days! When I called customer service I was told there was nothing they could do, put me on hold to check out my order status, then promptly hung up on me! The meal I ordered was $172! Not chump change and there's nothing they can do? NO resolution? No reship overnight over Ed and certainly no refund offered! Instead I'm suppose to accept a delivery of food that's NO good? Do not ever do delivery with them! They're unreliable and quite frankly uncaring. Quite the opposite of their websites saying they care!
Their customer service sucks. I ordered a whole ham and they basically told me i have to do rush service and only showed me two dates. I was in no hurry but it was not allowing me to put in my order without the rush service which was almost the same price as the ham itself. That was a rip off because I was buying it for my father in law who loves ham. If this is the way they operate I will tell every and anyone not to do business with this company
I ordered mys mothers favorite honey baked ham cakes for christmas, almost 2 months in advance, and have been charged. The order says it was shipped, but where is it? Its almost closing time, and, my elderly mother is going to have to either open her door for delivery at a late hour (dark), or not receive it at all. Over an hour wait to talk to customer service. I thought that a company with such a stature would be better than this. Where is the understanding customer service?
They force you to buy the expensive ham and you tell them to get you a lower ham and they say they don't have any. This is the only way they can stay in business. Customers please stop shopping at honey bake ham.We in a pandemic and they care nothing the customers. When i got upset then the lady went and got a cheaper ham. One employee told me they train them to lie and sell the most expensive hams first. I will be getting my hams from walmart cause I refuse to pay 73.00 dollars for a ham.
As our holiday party was canceled we did boxed lunches from honey baked ham. Totally not worth the money. The bread was anything special but was soggy due to the Tomato which i asked to be left out of my sandwich as i don't like it. I ordered plain chips for a side and got onion which were gross. A lot of the sides were wrong in most of the box lunches ordered. No positive things to really say other than dont waste your money
I visited the Bowling Green Ky location. The lack of consideration for orders is unacceptable. To purchase a ham, they told me I couldn't order specifically what I wanted (are you serious? This is 2022!). Wanted a 8-10 Lb with no shank. They could not guarantee what I would get….even if I had a reservation, there's no guarantee. Drove my 87 year old mom an hour to get this for her. NO CONSIDERATION for the elderly. Highly disappointed in this company. Customers are why you have been successful. I think leadership has forgotten this! Please pass this to upper level.
Pick up a ham at Publix and put it in the oven with some brown sugar topping and it will be better than the ridiculously expensive Honey Baked Ham. Years ago we used to get Heavenly Ham, which is now out of business, and they were better!
Received the Honey Baked box with the cooler inside. Open led the box found one dry ice pack and the Turkey was fully defrost. Thanksgiving is 4 days away. I not sure if the turkey will last till then so I have go to the store and buy another one. Honey Baked has lost this customer and I will tell my friends and family of this incident.
My family has been a HBH customer for as long as I can remember. We love them. They're the highlight of the year (in food terms). Last few the quality has been slipping, finally this year, it's completely gone. This ham is mediocre at best. Dry, hard outside, ZERO sugar crust, fatty... Nothing what the cost should reflect! Not worth the money, the drive or the wait to get it. I ordered a head of time and they did get that part right but honestly they should have just given me money to take the "meat" out of the door. Complete waste of time and money. What happened HBH?
I called to order 27 hams at $89 each plus $18.95 shipper per ham. The woman who answered was almost illiterate. I had to speak one letter at a time and when I received the confirmation, some names were still misspelled. Today, I tried to order four more and the lady I got today was so bad that I told her I would try and place the order on line. After completing my first order I hit the order button and it said the order did not go through. I made four more attempts, checking everything as I went - still the same results. I was forced to go back to the phone. I got lucky this time with a sweet lady from Georgia that did a perfect job. HBH you need to screen your Holiday workers. This was a mess. I should have been able to order all of the hams online without incident. Your products are very expensive and the consumer deserves better service than what you provide.
My wife ordered a turkey and ham and was promised delivery before we left on vacation. The ham is delivered but not the turkey. My wife calls them and they say it will be delivered while we are gone. That does not work for us. After a half hour of going back and forth with a manager my wife gets frustrated and hangs up. Needless to say we are done doing business with them.
Ordered ham for Thanksgiving, and it was never delivered. Customer service was kind. I felt badly for them because I wasn't the only one with this problem. We received a full refund and a $50 gift card. Won't ever count on Honey Baked Ham again.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We hope to have the opportunity in the future, to try again, to meet your expectations.
This ham is not the same. My last two ham was just bake no honey or melting glade. The last ham had to much fat on it. I buy h b because my grandkids liked it now the recipe change. I will try the ham a couple more time to see if it get better. I will give 5 star on the turkey breast.
We just spent almost $15 on two ham and swiss sandwiches at the New Albany Indiana store and are extremely disappointed with them. The meat was dry, the bread was borderline stale and the the lettuce and tomato dressing were wilted and tasteless. We'll definitely never go there again.
I ordered a $200 winter dinner and turkey breast for my son and his family on 11/21/22 to be delivered on 12/30/22. It did not arrive and I had to call Honey Baked only to find out the shipment did not make it, AND now they were sold out of the winter dinner! So not only did my son not receive his gift and his family their New Year's dinner, but Honey Baked would not do anything about this complete failure! Obviously I will never purchase anything from Honey Baked again, and I recommend that unless you want to be completely disappointed that you never purchase from them again, either. Very unprofessional company, ruining dinner and gifts even when ordered over a month in advance. I'll never be disappointed by Honey Baked again. They should not bring business, terrible!
Ordered a Prime Rib for Christmas Dinner from the online store. It was about $100. And about half of it was fat and inedible. Very embarrassed to have to serve this to my guests. I have ordered hams in the past and they were really good. Last month my sister ordered 2 Tenderloins and they were exceptionally good. I don't know what happened with his Prime Rib. Realizing that Prime Ribs do have a certain amount of fat, this was exceptionally fatty.
This review has to be the most bizarre. I pre-ordered a bone-in ham a week ago. Went to pick it up today (the line was wrapped around the store given it's the day before Thanksgiving) only to be given a HAM BONE. Showed the guy my order confirmation. I should have checked to make sure I had what I ordered before leaving the store, but I didn't. I expected it to be right given it is the holidays and you'd think they would be more careful. Total waste of time and money. I ended up just cooking my own ham. Please train your employees to be more mindful and take pride in what they do. No one likes laziness. People like this will cause HBH to go out of business. Never buying from this company again. This is the HBH in Gretna, Louisiana off of Terry Parkway.
If you can avoid, do not go to this location. It is unorganized, the employees have no clue what they are doing. They say one thing and then when you do that, they say another or they say I must've misunderstood you. They advertise like you can schedule a pickup however you still have to stand on a long line like everyone else. Employees are rude. This is my first and last time going to this location so if you can avoid this location then please do. Go to another location.
First time i ordered the brisket and disappointed. Dry and looked processed. No taste and expensive. I also ordered sides... lemon parmesan broccoli, scalloped potatoes and sweet pot casserole. All were soggy, mushy, no taste! What a waste if money, $153.00. Sides were enough for 4-5 people
Answer: Happy dog, Happy family? Our local store has good turkey but we go mostly for the hams. They are uniquely good
Answer: Hi Simone! The directions are from frozen, please enjoy! :)
Answer: Hi Angela! Our whole turkeys are fully cooked and ready to enjoy. From thawed, take the turkey out of the refrigerator and remove from bag. Place in a roasting pan breast side up then loosely cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until warm. Carve, serve and refrigerate unused portions immediately. From frozen, preheat over to 350°. Remove turkey from bag and place in roasting pan breast side up then loosely cover with aluminum foil and bake for 4 - 4 1/2 hours or until warm. Carve, serve and refrigerate unused portions immediately.
Answer: I wish I did! Instead you get stuck on the phone waiting for 30-40 minutes and then they hang up on you! Trust me…I'm right with you! My Thanksgiving meal that was ordered on 10/31 was ruined!
Answer: Did the same thing to me! Who, wants to eat anything that has been un-refrigerated in a box for 5 days!
