I ordered my ham and turkey in October to ensure it would arrive before thanksgiving. Today is the day before thanksgiving and no ham or turkey. Now they say they will refund me after the holiday, but what they should be doing is personally delivering my meal to me since they have single handedly ruined my Thanksgiving meal. I will NEVER order my holiday meals from them again!
I ordered 3 hams as Christmas gifts to be shipped to 3 different places. No problem there. Except I only got 15% discount on 1. I called & was told too late, call in the am. I called first thing in the am, only to be told I was too late. I Wrote to HBH & a CS rep emailed me, correcting that problem. All was good until she offered me any item from the catalog free of charge. I could have asked for the most expensive thing but I'm not greedy so I asked for a stuffed pork roast. She said it would ship on Tuesday next, no pork roast ever arrived to this date-6 weeks. When I emailed her, my emails were returned unable to deliver. It's not the roast I'm angry about but the lie. Why did she even offer? I have saved my emails in the event HBH is even interested in Customer Service.
On 25-Nov-2020, we drove over a hundred miles to the Tulsa, OK location and spent $197.00, for two hams and a couple sides, sides were ok at best. Ham was dry the texture was like chewing on paper, gristle and fat was the main product of the ham. Family we had over took just a couple bites of the ham and some even spit it out into their napkins. Trusted Honey Baked Ham of Tulsa for our 2020 Thanksgiving Dinner because we have had such GREAT SUCCESS with other locations in the past. This was a total con job, they stole the cost of the meat at least. They ruined our family Thanksgiving, then there was no way of fixing it as everyone was visiting on a short time schedule. Tried calling the store and customer service, received message to leave number and we would receive call back. Never Happened. Oh yea, the clerk said the receipt was in the bag with the frozen sides, guess what there: No Receipt, thank the Lord above I have proof of the purchase because I paid by Visa.
My first time and last buying Thanksgiving dinner at Honeybake
I was so looking forward to good old fashion stuffing. Honeybake stuffing is mushy n taste like pickle juice was added. Taste like pickles.
My wife and I are life long customers. My wife who is a paraplegic looks forward to eating your ham at least twice per year. This year instead of going to the store to pick up the ham, I ordered online to receive 4.5 lb ham instead of a 8 or 9 lb and they sent me few extra sides I didn't order…why couldn't they call me or reduce the cost of my order? My wife is in a hospital bed which I am trying to maintain on social security income and working part time at Dollar General. I called your customer service number 3 times today and was hung up each time. I texted but no response back
I ordered Yam souffle and when I went to pick it up I was told they were out. I said, but I ordered and you charged my card. They asked if I would like a substitute and I said no, that I would have ordered something else if I didn't want the yam souffle. She then said that they have no idea how many of any product will be sold, that they do not set aside online orders. It appears that this is a first come first serve. Kinda like the Seinfeld episode about reserving a rental car. "You know how to take the reservation but cannot hold the reservation." Learn something every day, won't use Honey Baked Ham any more.
I ordered online & paid $119.90 on 11/26/2020 for a delivery to be made to Leander Texas on 12/16/2020. Received an email that order shipped 12/14-was never received. Tried to contact co by phone from 12/16 thru 12/20. Msg played that co was experiencing co-wide system problems & could not check orders or take orders. Sent 2 emails; no response. UPS advised shipper created a label, but UPS had not rec'd pck returned to sender. It's Dec 26 - stilll no ham & turkey; nothing from company!
I have been buying Honey Baked hams for a few years now. This year, I ordered a ham for Thanksgiving. When I opened the bag it came in, there was no crust on the ham or anything. Then, the ham was way too dry. To make a long story short, no one touched the ham and ended up throwing the rest away. I was paper dry, lacked flavor and no glaze. I would not buy again since I spent over $100 for the ham only to be hugely disappointed. I would have sent the whole ham back to HB but wasn't worth the hassle of repackaging and send it back to them. Product needs to be consistent, if not, you will lose customers. Now you have lost me. Never again!
Honey baked now officially tastes like any other Tom, $#*! or Harry wanna be ham out there. So sad where has tender, juicy, melt in your mouth gone as well as the crispy glaze that once covered it. Not to mention the over the top of price for what use to be...oh so extraordinare to ordinare.
Besides being very over priced, the fat to meat
Ratio has definitely gone up. I used to get to see the
Over priced ham I was buying but not anymore, they just show the label with the lbs. and price. The one I bought last week was very fatty, to say we were
Disappointed was a understatement. I will say, the
Ham bone is excellent for making soup.
Purchased from the Streetsboro, Oh. Location.

We followed the guidelines and had a Thanksgiving with just the four of our immediate family. Ordered a Cajun seasoned turkey from Honeybaked. Thawed in the fridge for 3 days, and warmed it for 1.5 hours as directed. It was the worst turkey we have ever had. The Cajun seasoning was just globed up on the outside of the turkey. It tasted old and didn't seem to be seasoned at all. The breast were dry even though I loosely covered it with foil as directed. We ate at it Thanksgiving day. I put half in the freezer which we will probably toss out. We were really looking forward to it being a great turkey dinner. Will never buy a Turkey there again.
I placed an order with HBH for over $400 for gifts for family. Delivery should have been on 11-21-18, but nothing has been delivered at all (today is 11/28/18). I have emailed several times, but have not received any response from the company. I was unable to reach them by phone. I have requested a refund to no avail. I am so disgusted with this company and worried I will not receive a refund. I've had to file a payment dispute with my credit card company. Needless to say, I will never do business with them again.
We have ordered Honey Baked Hams in the past and have been satisfied.
We don't mind paying a premium for a good quality product. Our
Last experience was disappointing and a waste of money. The ham arrived with
A portion that was freezer burned and had a redish tint to it. Never again!
Bought a ham several years ago and we picked it clean, just bought another and had hardly any coating and was tasteless, could have bought and mad e a better ham at a quarter of the price and would have been a lot better, time for them to close up shop.
No words can explain the problem my family experienced during the holidays with this company. They ruined our family Christmas. They blamed UPS. The truth was the order was never sent. I was on hold a total two hours before Christmas. I was calling to see where the order was. This company will lie to cover bad service. I was also hung up on. Stay away from this company! Not worth it!

I have purchased honey baked hams for Christmas for almost 40 yrs. And in recent years have purchased a whole roasted turkey or turkey breast for Thanksgiving. I served myself 2 slices of turkey & served my husband 2 slices as well. We didn't eat anymore of the turkey, it was nothing like what we have had before. It wasn't sweet at all & was very bland in taste, & it was even tough. I don't know if your cooking procedure has changed, but it was disgusting & not up to the usual standards. We don't want to even take another bite of it, so can I return it to the store for a refund, a credit, or to put toward another turkey (if it might be better) or a ham? Purchased at East - West Connector Austell, Ga. On Monday. Susan Wallace
I wouldn't have given this store #2 (Decatur, GA) any stars, but the manager refunded me for my prepaid order that was placed on 11/15 to be picked up on 11/23. She also gave me half off on roasted turkey because an associate sold my CAJUN turkey to another customer. The young associate told me I should have ordered at least 4 days in advance. If she can count, she would have seen that I ordered 8 days prior to pick up. Then she proceeded to say something about me coming back. I immediately stopped her and said "I will not be coming back"! This was the worst experience I have ever had for a prepaid order. The store needs to retrain their staff to label prepaid orders and do not under any circumstances sell to other customers. This was very disappointing to me and my family to eat something we didn't order.
My review is for the service at the Mason Ohio location. The service was lack luster for sure. Kids that don't want to be there! Hope the ham taste better than the service when I serve it tomorrow for Christmas dinner.
Thank you so much for sharing this Sharon. We do hope you enjoyed your dinner and please have a happy new year!
The honey baked ham douglasville has the best customer service i have experienced. Even though their systems and registers down during the busiest holiday of the year, they are so cheerful and positive.
I just got back from buying 2 hams and I am very disappointed. Both hams have only a small amount of glaze. One is less with less than 1/4 covered with glaze. I buy these hams for the glaze and freshness and probably wont go back. I spent about 75.00.
Answer: Happy dog, Happy family? Our local store has good turkey but we go mostly for the hams. They are uniquely good
Answer: Hi Simone! The directions are from frozen, please enjoy! :)
Answer: Hi Angela! Our whole turkeys are fully cooked and ready to enjoy. From thawed, take the turkey out of the refrigerator and remove from bag. Place in a roasting pan breast side up then loosely cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until warm. Carve, serve and refrigerate unused portions immediately. From frozen, preheat over to 350°. Remove turkey from bag and place in roasting pan breast side up then loosely cover with aluminum foil and bake for 4 - 4 1/2 hours or until warm. Carve, serve and refrigerate unused portions immediately.
Answer: I wish I did! Instead you get stuck on the phone waiting for 30-40 minutes and then they hang up on you! Trust me…I'm right with you! My Thanksgiving meal that was ordered on 10/31 was ruined!
Answer: Did the same thing to me! Who, wants to eat anything that has been un-refrigerated in a box for 5 days!
