My jacket is very comfortable to wear. It goes with any style. The color correlation is very nice. The brand is an awesome name HOLLISTER the brand from California. Although it's very expensive, it can last you a long time if you take care of it. Overall it's a very positive experience and can be used anywhere.
Shocking and disgusting. Shops are closed but to return an item bought online either you use their prepaid label to a UK address and then they charge you £9 for this or you can return yourself and pay for postage but you have to return to an international address in the Netherlands. Daylight robbery- avoid shopping online with Hollister.
I bought sweat pants for my boyfriend. Size large. As he always is, and he wore the one pair for the day to see how they are and they seem to be a bit small fitting. We got 2 pairs that day. We brought back both pairs and tried to exchange them for a bigger size and they lady told us we can't exchange them because there isn't tags on the ONE PAIR! We do have the receipt for it. And it clearly says holister on it and I could walk to the back of the store and find the same exact pair on the floor. All I wanted to do was exchange for a bigger size and she didnt even let us do that. I spend a lot of money in this store so I am very un happy and most likely will not buy from this store again, because why couldn't I exchange them if I have the receipt and item right in hand? ON TOP OF THAT I HAD THEM FOR LESS THEN 24 HOURS…. So bottom line is. I am stuck with sweat pants that don't fit anyone! That was supposed to be a Christmas gift, and the store is quite far from me. Very unhappy
Ordered online, they cancelled my order. Store showed item in stock, store forgot to pull the item, and it sold out. Now I can't get my money back. Will never recommend Holister to anyone. Many calls to the store, requested a manager, they offered a supervisor, that wouldn't talk to us. Then the person on the phone just hung up on us. Initially offered our refund in 3-5 days, next call said 10 days, today before we were hung up on said 29 days. We will never shop here again, and will advise everyone we know about the bad experience. Next will be a horrible Yelp review. You should be ashamed of your customer service. I'd give zero stars if I could.
I realized I got two defective items of clothing, and the salesperson smelled the clothing and deemed them washed and also checked the seams for bugs. She refused to give me money back for one even though within the 30 days. The other she put on a gift card and she said she did this to force me to spend more money in the store. I threw out the receipt and just was disgusted. I work in customer service, she doesn't own the store, and she was a total jerk about it. This was in Burlington Mass. I tried to tell Customer service but they kept conveniently disconnecting. Overall I never got a resolution because I threw out the receipt. They should really believe my word about this because I am sure I am not the only customer that experienced such disgusting and demeaning customer service.
My daughter received couple of outfits for her birthday from this horrible store which I had horrible experience shopping there in past to begin with.
Unfortunately, the outfits were too small. I went to exchange size. Only size SAME ITEMS. They told me that I had to pay extra $30 because the prices went up. WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT? Since when?
Were they going to give me money back if the prices went down? They refused to make the exchange without me paying the extra $30. I WILL NEVER SHOP OR TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS STORE. I HOPE THEY CLOSE OR GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
Hollister is very overpriced, but they have good quality clothes. They've taken a long time to shop my clothes. But it is a very popular brand, and it's "base" is real far from where I live. I love hollister, but my dads wallet does not
I would like to give them a 0 star in fact. Instead of returning me money for a return I did in store, they charged me again and now they won't return me any of my money. I am $150 in loss now. I asked for help from their customer support and from in-store managers, but nobody can offer any help. The WORST company ever. DO NOT BUY!
My first time purchasing Hollister online and the last minute they cancelled my order. Since it was purchased on a gift card and the e-mail said that it was processed and was being shipped out I threw it away, only to moments later find out that it was cancelled and unable to get my money back. After a whole month of calling, and writing multiple emails they said that they were going to put the money back on the card, but I explain to them the whole situation stating I don't have the card anymore and they said there is nothing they can do. Don't purchase from here unless it is shipped to store! Lost $149.79
The return process is the worst I have encountered sure you can do it better Hollister.
Why is there a £9 charge, or return it to the store and face the queue? No wonder the store is jam-packed

I love Hollister and a lot of my clothes are from there. Some people hate it but trust me it's good as long as you aren't rude to the people who work there. They only have 16-18 year olds working there so obviously there's going to be some attitude but that goes for all stores. The stuff is good quality and the prices aren't terrible. The rewards program is very good and the sales are good sales like 50-75% off.
My name is Elizabete and i live in Portugal EU. Since December 23 i have been trying to do a shopping at HollisterCo in order to send to my son who lives in USA. 3 times they canceled my order and i done everything they said; changed regions, called a Customer service in US, spent 1hour and 15 min on long distance and placed a manual order, called the store in NH; used the Chat like 5 times, used Messager to char with agent, had my sister who lives in USA to order for me with her card. Absolutely nothing worked till now and my son still doesnt have his gifts. It's terrible, has been a truly Nightmare.
Mark was so rude and condescending. I explained to him that I didn't receive my refund for an order placed on 9/28. Usually I see it on my bank account and receive an email. He told me that it was posted in my bank account and I just didn't see it. He said that it takes 4-5 days for a refund to kick in but I told him that it's been over a month. He yelled at me to stop talking. I couldn't take it and hung up and he sends me a petty email and didn't provide me with my refund receipt email. I've have always had wonderful experience with nice bubbly customer service providers but this one is not representative of Hollister. Never again.
I ordered a few shirts and jeans online. A few things did not fit, so I called to talk to costumer service. They were extremely polite and they said that all I had to do was send it back in and they would send me out the correct sizes. And I didn't have to pay shipping twice!
I was only happy with two out of the four items I ordered. For starters the pants I ordered weren't very good quality. And very unflattering. The material of the bra I ordered seemed of poor quality as well. Not at as soft as I would have liked or expected. Also I expected the panties I ordered to be soft, but they were not. They were a standard spandex material. I was however happy with them anyway because I loved how they fit, and seemed like they would hold up well. My bigger problem: Returns are not free I guess? Or they we're only going to give me a partial refund. Because it showed I was not going to get the full refund. I wish they would just send a return package, for what I consider an 'easy' return. Unfortunately they only have two options in terms of returns which are: ship from a UPS store, OR ship yourself. Both of these options have you going out of your way to: 1.) buy or obtain something to ship your order out in yourself. Or, 2.) drive to your nearest UPS if you have one close to you. These options are extremely inconvenient for those of us that live outside of City limits and don't drive. Needless to say I'm so disappointed with their return policy. And I don't think I will order from them again.
I've honestly never had a good opinion of Hollister because when I went there the first time I was told as a size ten I was too big to shop there, but I decided to give it a second chance when I went to the mall last weekend. I walked into the store and a worker immediately gave me a look of disgust, and the other customers basically sneered at me and my friend (who were the biggest people in the store at the time as sizes 10 and 14). I usually don't care but its frustrating I can't even walk into the store without being looked at like I'm disgusting because of my size.
I placed an online order on nov 17th for 1 item - a month later, I contacted CS a few times, trying to get an update on why I hadn't received my order, or even been given an updated! They literally told me they could not give me any informtion as to where the order was or when I would receive it, they had no idea at all. Finally after hearing nothing from them for months, I emailed them today, feb 8th, and canceled my order - I promptly received a reply that they would cancel my order and then was sent a service survey on how they did. Seriously ridiculous.
I use both a urostomy. And colostomy pouches. I wrote to get samples of their one piece pouches as I use their two piece. They wrote to say they'd send samples out. Two weeks and no samples. Meanwhile Coloplast sent me their one piece samples which I love... maybe Hollister are good too, but because of poor customer service, I'll never know so Coloplast has my business...
Do not buy from this Company. They took my money and did not deliver my order.
They did not even refund me. They said to me we are NOT going to refund or resend any thing, and this is or FINAL decision.
I order them twice and returns once spend money more than the order money, they are size are wrong end up having some tshirt can't wear, they can provide free service for return to Newzeland, they don't do anything at all no reply for email. I spend lot money for call them Itz worth less ordering from Hollister I don't recommend anyone in Newzeland with my experience
Answer: If you go to their website to they have a 5 star rating. However, in my opinion, that is because if you checked out as a guest, you can't login to the site to view your order much less leave a review. In my experience, there's a reason a company has bad reviews. This company is not a beginning mom & pop store, there's no reason they should be greedy and charge for returns. As for quality, the store is tailored around the teen/early 20's age group, who are still learning how to be savvy, informed consumers.
Answer: Legit i buy all the time from them. Especially their jeans. They have a great variety. Although, they have a big ego and it shows on most of their clothes. I personally don't like tops that have the shop name on them, but Hollister is a brand ig so yea. But i like their jeans.
