This service rescued me when I urgently demanded a car to drive. You easily choose th pick up and drop off locations, as well as specify precise time period, and you can enjoy a wide selection of cars of different classes. That is what I liked the most about Hertz. As far as I know the service is represented not in every state but I was in Florida, so grabbed this chance and again thank you very much for saving my life, LITERALLY!
Long story short Hertz would not refund my account after dropping the car off early I talked to numerous hertz customer service people who all assured me I'd have my money back within 7-10 business days - I asked to speak to the supervisor Earnie who said you were refunded yesterday -if it's not in your account take it up with your bank- and hung up on me, so I did my bank got me my money back - two months later Hertz sent me to collections for the exact amount they owed me. 9 month ordeal still going on.

It was a pleasure working with Jozsef Johnson. It started with greeting me at the door as I approached the office. Then I noticed how knowledgeable he was about the vehicle I had rented which was a Honda Accord. He made the me feel welcomed which made the transaction process go smoothly. I would recommend that anyone renting from Hertz, please find out the location of Jozsef Johnson. He works to get the job done the first time.

Our flight was canceled at New Orleans International Airport so was desperate for a one way car rental to DFW airport. All the other rental car agencies had zero options for our request but Hertz was able to take care of our needs and were able to put us in a nice ride. The rental professional at the counter was extremely helpful and one of the kindest people I've ever met, her name was Lisa. So if ever in New Orleans in need of a rental car i would advise you to go see Lisa at Hertz rental, you will not be disappointed i promise.

Today, I spoke with Tyshawna at the customer service center and she was amazing! I have to tell you, I have had a lot of stress lately, and after I hit a deer in the rental car, I was pretty devastated. Also, it seems as if I wasn't getting anywhere with any calls I was making to the insurance, etc, so I had expected that this call would be much the same as I had been experiencing- either not helpful at all or flat out rude. I was wrong. Tyshawna was extremely helpful, understanding, and pleasant. I hope Hertz knows that they have a good one with her!
Port St Lucie Hertz is the best place to rent a car if you are looking for friendly and fast service. The cars are always clean, filled with gas and ready to go. The staff is over and beyond helpful and patient!
And a few times I've left things like glasses, and they would mail them back. My fav rental car for years.
On August 4,2022, I had the privilege of renting an SUV from "Andre" at 8000 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland. I am not a person that normally would write a review but this guy was fantastic! I originally had a reservation with a fairly new Enterprise location in Hyattsville, Md. Because it was closer to home. I personally went there the evening before (Aug 3) to confirm everything. Needless to say, the day of rental (Aug 4) there was no car of any type available! I was "livid" to say the least. After several calls to hopefully rent immediately, "Andre", at Hertz, said he could help. He advised me to call and make the rental request for an SUV because that was all he had. The reservation agent said there were no SUV's in the system for that location. I called Andre again, who gave me a direct number to call him after I made the reservation. I explained to him that the Hertz reservation system showed cars for rent but no SUV's even though he said he only has an SUV. Andre said, "do not worry, how soon can you get here, I will take care of it myself". An hour later, I was in an SUV and on my way. This was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. This guy did not have to do this. I will always remember this experience and will make Hertz and this location my first choice as well as recommend this location any chance I get. Thanks, Andre!

Me and my daughter enjoyed her sweet, kind, and respectful services. We do appreciate Markata so much with her over and beyond great hospitality! She is a STAR! Thanks Hertz for hiring her.

I had my purse stolen somewhere between leaving the plane and getting to my car at the President's Circle aisle on Sunday 1/24/21. Thank God Hertz Team at SFO has a heart. Ameeta Sharma and Regina Hunt helped me get my car. They took my copy of my Drivers license and my paper temporary Texas Drivers License to their Manager Mike who approved me as a regular President Circle renter. They also walked me through getting a different card uploaded on my profile so I could drive away. After a long night, I really appreciated them and it gave me a better feeling about Hertz as a company.
I also wanted to mention Maria the Manager for returns, she helped me that evening and gave me $11 out of her pocket because I had nothing. There ARE still good people! Thank you Maria!
I was in the process of renting a car at the Hertz counter at Dallas Love Field Airport when I encountered a problem. When I entered my Chase credit card for payment, the transaction was denied and I was routed to the fraud department. After answering numerous questions to prove my identity and long periods of waiting on the phone, the transaction continued to be declined. The Chase representative suggested the problem was with the credit card machine at the Hertz counter - a ridiculous suggestion since numerous people had come and gone and the machine worked fine. However, we moved to another register and made another attempt(where I left my driver's license). Eldon remained calm(me-not so much) and we went back to the first register where Eldon made a call on my behalf. The transaction was finally processed(no thanks to the Chase fraud department). Eldon walked me out to the lot and helped me select a safe, clean, practically new vehicle for my drive from Dallas to Harrisburg. A few days after my return to Pennsylvania, I received my driver's license in the mail. Eldon, I can't thank you enough! Management - take note - this man deserves a raise!
The employees are always nice to me. They know me when I come in. They have also been understanding when I had some issues.
Ideally you never have a problem with a rental car (or your own car, for that matter). My wife and I picked up our Hertz rental and drove off, only to discover it had a low-going-flat tire. We returned and within 10 minutes had our replacement vehicle and we were back on the road for our vacation. The only thing better than not having a problem is recovering quickly from a problem and Hertz did that for us.

I have been wanting to write a review for months! So, here it is. I had to leave my car at the Towne Ford service center, and needed to rent a car from Hertz. I'm gimping right now, fractured knee, so I was hobbling around trying to find the entrance (more on their general atmosphere later). I walk in, and I notice a short line, and a very nicely dressed young man behind a table (business attire). I also notice, that this place is depressing - there's only one chair, and the room is white, and kind of creepy (think morgue). It's also hot as Hades! This is the saddest location for anything I've ever seen, yet Jeremiah is SUPER sweet, patient, and hard-working. He's helping a very crotchety old man, and then another upset customer, because they have been sent to drop off their cars at this location - and this location is not a drop-off location!
So, whoever is giving customers this information, needs to cut it out or get a different job! These guys not only have to deal with angry customers when they arrive, but it was also a hot day, AND they have no a/c.
That's not the saddest part though, they also have no coffee machine, no fridge, no vending machine -- nut'n'honey! I know that's obnoxious, but every service location I go to, has some semblance of care for their workers (and customers), even if it's water!? Given the atmosphere, I think they deserve some coffee (espresso - not that watered-down stuff). Nespresso machines are cheap - come on Hertz. They're not even close to a coffee shop, gas station etc. (I think they are close to a strip joint though - and not a high-end one either - we are taking seedy stuff haha). I really don't know how Jeremiah and Anthony (I believe he's the manager - I might have them switched - sorry guys, it's been a while) keep such composure with an Alcatraz-like venue.
I could go on, all I can say is MANAGER, DISTRICT MANAGER, HERTZ... give these sweet guys a break! Send customers to an actual drop-off location, and get some AIR CONDITIONING and a NESPRESSO, SODA MACHINE, or VENDING MACHINE? Better yet, put these hard-working superstars in a non-prison-like business location.
So, despite very crabby customers, an inferno atmosphere (it's hot, muggy and unpleasant - only 1 customer chair... in a room that looks like an insane asylum), and a generally DEPRESSING office/parking lot, these guys do an AMAZING job! In fact, if you can swing by and pick up some caramel lattes for these guys, that would be the most humane thing you could do (besides not being an a-hole to them. They were both so nice and accommodating in providing me with a vehicle similar to my own, so professional, and upbeat - bravo to you both! Give these men a new building and double their pay is all I can say! Seriously, pick up some coffee for these two.
Thanks Jeremiah and Anthony - if I need a car again, I'll visit you guys (despite the sub-par atmosphere you are forced to work in - that's my opinion by the way, not theirs).

I have used Hertz twice in the last month and been impressed both times. I used their kiosk to rent both times and I went through the line way faster than everyone else that went to a teller.
I am a frequent traveler and travel around the nation for work. Hertz is my favorite place to rent as in the decades I have traveled never had an issue minus simple things that they worked to resolve. Its easy to pickup a car, especially if you sign up for free to be a Gold member (no prerequisites). In my experience they are not the cheapest option, but there are great perks if you look. There is AAA discounts that is OK for business travel, but great when traveling with a family as it includes a car seat and extra driver at no additional cost. Another pro tip I will offer is don't just look at the compact price. There are times when SUVs or trucks are the cheaper option. Sometimes a luxury car is only a few percent more, but these are more exceptions.
We originated the car rental industry. We'll never stop innovating it.
