I ordered a long runner rug from them. I took a long time picking It because I was looking closely at the colors and the design. What they sent was an ugly, cheap looking rug with a completely different design than what their pictures advertised. Had the rug been nice I would have kept it, but the entire design was stretched out and looked warped and cheap.
I would give them zero stars if it were an option! I purchased a bed, but never received it. Of course they were paid as soon as it shipped. Somehow it got lost in transit. I waited patiently to no avail. Still no bed. I purchased a bed from a local store and cancelled the bed order with Hayneedle. At first they gave me the run around. They first said I would have to wait until the bed was found and returned to them before I could get my refund. Finally, after more communications, they finally agreed to refund me. It has been nine days since the refund was suppose to be given. I have contacted them several times and I am still being given the run around. I plan to report them to the BBB. I would never do business with Hayneedle again! I certainly would not recommend them to family or friends.
I brought an island from Hayneedle and when I got ready to put it together the holes to attached the botton and the legs did not match up. So I was not able to put it together I call Hayneedle about the problem and they asked for my order number. I gave them all the information they needed and they promised me that they're get back with me. I kept calling and calling about the problem and they kept promise me that they would get back with me. They never did return my call. They claim that they was waiting to hear from the manufacturing company. I never heard from them nor the manufacturer company. I got tired of waiting so I had my brother to make bigger holes to put the island together and I had to buy more screws and had to rebuilt the bottom. To this day I haven't heard from Hayneedle nor the manufacturer company. I don't think I will buy from them again. Poor customer service. I paid $600 for this island and all I asked for was a discount.
Purchased a Brentwood electric Skillet for 40 dollars through Walmart.com. It arrived with one of the leg screws untapped. I retapped it and put a larger bolt in it. After 8-10 uses, the no-stick coating is discolored. I contacted Plumstruck and they said after 30 days, no warranty of any kind. Sad. The last electric skillet I purchased lasted 20 years. Don't buy from Plumstruck.
Hayneedle.com certainly deserves the "Worst Service Ever" Award. I ordered an item for my son and they simply cancelled the order without contacting me because they did not like the shipping address I provided. Meanwhile, they had already charged my credit card so I had to call and cancel the card. Thanks alot hayneedle.com for all the trouble and for disappointing my son on his birthday. Now I have to wait for a new card to arrive so I can get the poor kid a birthday present. I would not recommend this site to my worst enemy. Stay clear of it unless you have lots of money to lose and lots of time to waste.
We just bought two hours ago by mistake a table so after ten minutes we sent a email to cancel the order because the table was not the one we want.So they just said that they can not do anything. This is a really bad experience. Bad company. They dont care their costumers
I ordered a TV Stand from them on Cyber Monday which is in November. I received my product totally damaged and asked for replacement parts. I was sent my replacement part which was also so damaged it was completely unusable. Called them back and they said they would send out another replacement no charge. Well I waited... and waited... and called about 5 times and now it's January and still no replacement. Talked to them today and they decided they aren't going to send me out another replacement and that if I want another piece, I will have to order the whole TV stand again. Such BULL! Do not give them your money!
Ordered time sensitive product that had differing billing and shipping addresses. They canceled order due to the different addresses ( ever heard of a gift?). I immediately called and was told by rep that order would be resubmitted and I would receive product on time. I called next day to confirm shipment ( never got another confirm or shipping notice). I was told that the order had never been resubmitted and there was no way they could address the situation. It cost me $175 in shipping charges on another site to get the product in time. Hay needle sent email stating that it was a pleasure to serve me and glad I got product on another site! Seriously?
Do Not Purchase any Products from PlumStruck. There the absolute worse. I placed and order with PlumStruck Through and the product was never shipped. I ended up canceling my order after with over 2 Weeks. Stay Away from this company!
I ordered the XL MidWest I crate for my dog. The strength of the crate is not at all what they claim, my dog gets out of it easily with just the latches it came with, the latches are a joke so we have to use carabiner clips all over it because it has 2 doors. It also arrived dented and damaged and the company could care less. The shipping was quick, it arrived in 3 days but highly disappointed in the quality and its a bit difficult to put together and take down if your someone who needs to transport it a lot, thank goodness we have just had to take it down to move it in the house. This crate is not a good buy if you have a large breed dog, we have a shepherd and bought this for her as a puppy, she still uses it but its bent and coming apart in many places, she doesnt even use it that much anymore and still it has damage throughout it that keeps coming up. I would look into a sturdier crate if you have a large dog.
I ordered and item from hayneedle and three attemps later I was continuously receiving the item extremely damaged. Even though they advertise as free shipping, upon refussing to accept the broken item, the delivery men took it away. I was then charged $250. Fee. I disputed the fee with my credit card company and they sided with hayneedle. Even though they claim free shipping. So now I'm out $250. Do not buy anything from hayneedle. Dave yourself the aggravation and expense.
This is my first order and I am not impressed. They canceled part of my order with no explanation, and twice delayed shipment, again with no explanation. I am currently seeking a refund and will post when I receive it. Stay away from this terrible site. They are a third party site (not a warehouse) that takes your money (with no knowledge of whether they can get the items) and THEN seeks out your items. STAY AWAY!
This is absoutely the worst website I have ever ordered from. Their customer service is horrible! When I placed my order online, it said in-stock and should be delivered within a week. They then proceeded to tell me it was on backorder. I have been promised my order on 3 different dates, and it is yet to arrive. Everytime I call, they blame it on the supplier. Now they tell me they've shipped it days ago, but FedEx says they don't have it in their possession. I have no idea if I will ever receive my order. I would highly recommend not buying from them!
I bought an green house from Hayneedle but it turned out to be not the right one. So, I returned it and got another one; the snap and grow is the one for me. I wish that they make more windows for the 8x12 set. It has two windows now but better with two more. The panels could have been thicker.
Ordered a gift basket with a promise of Dec 24th delivery. 4 days late and the product was supposed to be an elegant gift basket of delicious hand selected wine and tasty treats... more like cheap quickmart wine and stale crackers... but what can I expect for just $90? Customer service response was... get over it. So don't waste your money... you would do better at Wallmart selecting your own food and wine gifts with a blindfold on.

I placed an order for a 5 piece Chintaly Kalinda dining set. I only received 2 chairs. I called Hayneedle & was told I only ordered 2 chairs. I provided them with the correct order # and invoice showing 5 pieces. Hayneedle stated there was an error in the posting and it should have only been for 2 chairs.
I recently purchased an outdoor daybed from Hayneedle. I was going to purchase 2, but when I called with a question, the representative suggested that I purchase 1 and get $40 worth of points that I could use for the 2nd one. What a great suggestion. I enrolled in the program and ordered the 1st daybed. My points didn't show up. When I called to question this, I was told that I had paid with PayPal and would not get any points. While this is written on the website, the representative that was helping me with the purchase FAILED to mention this as I completed my purchase. When I called them, they said that there was nothing that they could do to help me. When I asked if it was worth me purchasing the remainder of the patio furniture that I needed somewhere else, they didn't care.
I placed an order for E-Z Up 10 foot Express II Canopy Sidewall set on Walmart.com and received the item several weeks later from a third party with no corresponce for the shipping or when I would receive it. When I received the order therre was only one sidewall that was only 8 foot. I have written customer service several times and no response. What a rip off.
I ordered a On the Edge Portable Folding Wagon on April 24th, 2013. My husband and I used it twice. On the second time the welds on the front axle separated rendering the wagon useless. When I contacted the company via e-mail I was told that it was outside of the 30 day window and therefore could not be exchanged. I have learned a hard lesson and will no longer shop at a company that will not stand behind the product it distributes.
