Orange's arrived and i was sent baby bell tangelo orange's which were mushy and at least three were all ready un-eatable did have the grape fruit yet don;t know what to expect sent my son a tray will call and see if i can cancel hope it's not to late
I ordered a pumpkin cheesecake 6 weeks before my daughter's birthday. They called the evening of her birthday to state they had run out and could not deliver. Yet another that I ordered only 10 days before did get delivered. They CANNOT be trusted. I will never use them again
I ordered two of these: one shipped as a gift and one for myself. They contained no recognizable lobster. They did include a small amount of red mush that might have once been from the lobster body. I was mortified to have gifted it and mortified to serve it. Over $120 sent. To date? My complaint has been "forwarded to managment." They advertise a satisfaction guaranteed policy: I am far from satisfied but as yet do not see them making this right.
I will absolutely never order from Harry & David again! Not only did the gift get there late, the pears were brown and frozen and turned to mush as they thawed. The family I sent them to tried to call for a replacement and were told that I had already received a refund and was aware of the bad fruit, which was a lie. They also would not send a replacement.
I am first time user with this service and from my personal point of view I can say that they are providing great service for those who make order with them. Last month I have ordered a Snack Box from them within 1 week I have received the item. It is really good and quality one. I presented this to my sister on her birth day and she is very happy. Thanks for their service.
Ordered a V Day large item for senior person. It never made it. Harry and David stated 4-7 business days to arrive - it never did. Very disappointing and my last order ever. It's still on a truck who knows where. It's past 8:30 pm on V-Day - no package. My order number is *******772
The last two shipments of fruit have been rotten. Although Harry and David does replace the fruit requires a call and then to deal with the rotten fruit. The peaches were no longer available so they sent clumps they were wrong now they're going to send more. I don't think it's worth the money!
Messed up my order, and the customer service had o idea what was going on. I'm just getting a refund, I expect to have to do a charge back since they refuse to communicate. I was stupid and only searched reviews after I got $#*!ed by them. Just check the other searches, this company is trash.
Order 2 sliced turkey and ham samplers. Arrive 12/26/20 thawed! Contacted Harry and David and they instructed me to toss them and they would send replacements. 2 days later, no notification of replacement for Christmas. Not happy. Will replace from local stores. They should NOT ship to warm climates if they can prepare the shipment properly.
The gift baskets look nice, but they arrive without a "from card". The sender is only known by a tiny little sticker that's stuck on the outside of the outer box they send it in. You can hardly notice it and it seems limited to only a few words allowed. You would never know this tiny font label even exists. It practically makes the sender unknown and very impersonal. You would think this big gift company would devise a way to include a small message card from the sender. They certainly include their own sales propaganda cards within the gift. It's really embarrassing for the sender.
Called customer service and they said, things happen from time to time. But in the box, it says if you are not happy with product, we will make it right. NOT... said sorry. No wonder they have a 2 rating and 18 in list of gift companies. How sad.it was for my mom for Easter. The only thing that was per the picture was just the planter.
The top of the ad reads "Save 10% on one" Enter best sellers at check out. So I got commitments from everyone and went to place the order and the code won't work. The "stuff" about free shipping? Nope. At this point I was stuck since everyone had agreed to the gift and I will have to pay $18 in extra costs. A classic case of false advertising. When I tried to chat with an agent the site was unavailable. I tried to post a review on their site. Apparently the site won't accept negative reviews.
I've been looking forward to eating one of these pears for a long time so I finally placed an order. 1st they sent them to the wrong address then they made it right and sent them to me. I couldn't wait to get them. When I did, I received a full box of rotten pears. Not 1 pear was eat able. I was so disappointed. I called they are shipping me another box but now I am scared that the 2 gift boxes that I ordered are going to be delivered with rotten fruit. In conclusion the fruit is so expensive and the worst I've ever seen or expected but the customer service was good.
Always had perfect special pears. Order pears one was no good. Called and asked for replacement said I only wanted 1 but they are going to send me a box with pears and apples. I thought that was amazing. They really stand behind there products.
I ordered gift baskets on 12-8-2020. According to their site it was available to ship now. It was not shipped for for two weeks later. We just received the gift package yesterday and the pears were bad.we could not eat them. I called customer service and all they gave was an apology. They could not tell me anything nor do anything I'm not sure has happened to the company because last year is good. I would not recommend using harry and david
I ordered pears from Harry and David in the past, and they came very well packed and very tasty. However, I saw that they had a sale going on in the beginning of February. I thought I would go for it. Well, that was a big mistake as the pears came all black. The rest of the stuff was pretty stale. I think if it's after Christmas and they're having a big sale, don't go for it. It's most likely going to be bad. They did offer a 50% refund, however I feel it should have been 100%
Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. I thought Harry and Davis was trustworthy and one of the better companies for basket orders, seems that's not the case from the reviews. I was disappointed because of the delivery time, I ordered 10 days ago and still no order. Apparently have to wait another week, that's almost 3 weeks. Too long in my book, haven't they mastered delivery times yet?
I've ordered gifts from Harry & David's several times over the years. I don't know what changed over the past couple years, and not in a good way. Twice last year, I sent gifts from H & D. The first order was a birthday gift. The recipient told me it was inedible. I complained and a replacement was sent but it was terrible. So, thinking it might have been only one product, I sent Christmas cookies to a large group. They arrived after the place closed for Christmas (after the date requested), and of course we're stale. I won't get stung again and I suggest that you go elsewhere for similar products.
H&D are taking orders for products the KNOW they do not have. They are then sending non-comparable items in place. The order was supposed to be fruits/sweets and they sent 100% all bread items; multiple packs of English muffins and multiple breads. The family has gluten allergy and cannot eat. When I called them to get a resolution, they hung up on me. The worst is that they knew they did not have the items ordered yet did not disclose and took the order anyway. This if fraud, do not buy from H&D.
Do not make an order with this business. I placed an order a week in advance to make sure I get what I wanted on time. I was told by multiple people that I will get my order on time. The date comes and I have no information about my order, no tracking order nothing. I call again stating my issues then the owner states it was put on hold for another 2 weeks. Stay away from business better off going with someone else.

Answer: In the past this company offered excellent quality products--albeit a bit overpriced. Now the price is the same (or higher) but the quality has definitely gone downhill. Not sure if the company was bought out or what, but... I will never order from them again. They have done permanent damage to their reputation and their customer base is eroding quickly.
Answer: Why do you think any of these reviews have anything to do with Politics? That's pretty crazy assumption. My basket was 2 weeks late and that is not Political. It's facts.

Answer: It isn't difficult to reach them via phone, just be prepared for hold times. I would definitely recommend calling them rather than email, the email correspondence I had with them was hopeless.
