I ordered a sump pump and a sump pump discharge hose kit. I got the pump within the 5 days but never received hose kit. I've emailed the company. I've called only to be left on hold for over an hour. I ended up just going to a different store and got hose kit. I guess I will call it a loss and a lesson learned. If I want something I will go to the store and pick it up instead of online shopping as there is absolutely no customer service!
Tried to use this pump and it did not even work straight out of the package. Took it back to the Goldsboro NC store where I purchase it and learned that they were not allowed to receive it back. Called the 8 hundred # to only reach an automatic voice message that states that you need to go to there website.( I hope that you own a computer). Then I learned that they do not pay for return postage and they have a re stocking fee.The item that I purchase was only $6.00 so I would lose money if I returned it.
Please note no where was I told that the item could not be returned or exchanged as to that was what I wanted to do in the first place.
The tools sold at Harbor Freight are not the same quality that they compare their tools against. They are just trying to justify raising their prices. I understand the quality is lower than the major name brand but they don't need to raise their prices and say that the tools are compatible.
Harbor Freight would not refund an unopened epoxy quick Setting. This is unheard. Every other store would and has refunded products not opened. What's up! That is the last time I will buy anything from Harbor Freight; Harbor Freight goooooooood Byeeeeeeee.
On April 26,2019 I purchased a four channel wireless security system for my home. One of the selling points was being able to monitor the camera on line. After mounting the cameras and connecting the receiver to the everything work fine. Other that setting the date and time no others settings had to be made. Unit worked fine until June 20th. Then it became impossible to monitor the camera on line. The receiver shows it is not connected to the web. Swapped cables and port and no luck. Called Harbor Freight technical support and the person with whom I spoke told me "we have never had one of these unit fail. The problem is with your ISP". Bull. One device does not connect, regardless of setting and it the Harbor Freight product. I was also told to tinker with the router settings. But I don't own the router.
I've been a Harbor Freight customers for years. I learned today the gentleman that has helped me on numerous occasions in Statesboro, Ga. - is the manager. He is always so customer friendly and goes the extra mile to assist you while in the store. Kudos to you and the example you set your your staff. Thank you for always being so helpful. Habor Freight shipping is horrible waiting so long for an order customer service is no help either, I emailed them and they gave me information that was not helpful at all, I will never order from them again
When calling Costumer service an it hangs up over an over kinda sucks. Tells you to go the website daaaa i tried finding my answer there thats why i called costumer service just to keep getting hung up on. So still no answer. Thanks Harbour freight for nothing.
I bought an airless sprayer and as im putting it together one part was defective. I went back to the store to return it exchange it. But they had none to change. And I need to hurry up and figure out something because the job needs to be finished. I was charged a restocking fee of $120. I said really. You guys are going to resale it when it no good. They said no there not going to be resaleing it. Ok then y am I getting charged a restocking fee when you can't put it back in stock to resale it. To me that's a rip off. Restocking means putting it back for resale. I should get my $120 back. Wat a rip off. Becarefull people. Now I don't have enough money to buy a new one. If you don't think this is wrong of them. Then it is Wat it is. But if it was happening the them I bet u they would be pissed. Rip offs!
I live 5 minutes from the new harbor freight on centenial. WHAT A JOKE. I will never go back to that store. 5 cash registers and one cashier, never over 2 cashiers. I was 15th in line and asked if they could open a register to relief the line,,, ha ha what a mistake, rude $#*! people work ghee and they didn't care who was in line, they give you a discount t. Is it worth standing g inclined for 20 minutes for a nickle, hell no. I tossed that crap on the boxes and walked out. DO NOT GO TO THE NEW STORE. Lots of empty shelves and don't carry all the stuff like other stores plus rude and slow as hell and don't care,my personal experience. STAY AWAY. Maybe they need new management. How can a cashier look at all of the people in line and close her cash drawer so more people can suffer. A big circus in there.
The store in Baxter mn is the worst location I have ever shopped. Nothing is in stock and the management is a bunch of arrogant dinks. I shop competitors and pay a little more. Not impressed. At one time harbor freight was a great place to shop, not anymore.
I purchased this sprayer 8 months ago and used it for short durations six times. I went to used it today and it stated leaking at the bottom where the pump attaches. It shorted out the whole pump system. What a piece of junk!

Harbor Freight has continuously had the Badlands Off Road jack advertised as in stock on their website but never have any. They say it is the floor model and can't sell it yet they couldn't show me the floor model. Time to connect with the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. I will spend the extra $100 for the good one the PRO EAGLE. They usually don't have most of what is advertised in stock for their sales any way.
Purchased a cordless grease gun last week. Went to use it and it would not prime. I was at the store looking at them and the employee said the Hercules was the best. I purchased it and the 2 year warranty. I went to use it and could not get it to prime. Im a mechanic by trade so I know what Im doing. I went today and was going to exchange it and try again. Things happen I might of gotten a bad one I don't know. I was told that due to my warranty report they could do nothing.no exchange, no return, nothing. So I have a $300.00 cordless grease gun, battery, and charger I can't use. I always buy the warranty and have returned only generators in the past that fail within the two years. The cashies always tell me that if it breaks, doesn't start anything just return it under my warranty. Then buy another warranty. So my generators now have no warranty or my tools. Great job Harbor Freight, you took my money and didn't stand behind what I paid for.
I brought a battery charger on a friday. It didnt work, so I tried to return it. They told me the number on the box does not match the item. So i am out 70 dollars. So if you buy something from them make sure the numbers match. They lost me as a customer
Ordered online and confirmation said would ship in 7 to 10 days. After 16 days hadn't shipped yet so tried to cancel order. Customer service wouldn't cancel it as order was being processed. The rude customer service representative said I could return it to the store when it came to get my money back. Stores are 120 miles from me and none in my immediate area. They are the most horrible online experience I have ever had. Now they have shipped after a month. Amazing to me why they claim they didn't have enough time to cancel.
I was sent a text From Harbor Freight describing a discount. It said and I quote "Harbour Freight: Hurry, the BIG New Year's Sale is almost over! Take 25% off any single item- expires tonight" ( point to URL for sale)
I bought a leaf blower battery and a couple of less than $2 items. Question, which item do you think they took the 25% off of? Right, the less than $2 item rather that the nearly $80 battery. I pointed out to them the error and they quickly brought up a super small exclusion that was also very blurry. They said the Atlas battery was excluded. I had gone on their website to see the sale and enlarging the very very fineprint and I could not read it even then. My point is that in my opinion this is deceptive advertising plain and simple. I will NOT be doing business with this business ever again. I hate being suckered into a store only to find unreadable small print exclusions. Beware when you buy things on sale at this business!
I recently purchased two items from Harbor Freight. The first was a $129 spindle sander. It broke after four months. They wouldn't return it because it was over 90 days. I used it only one time!
The second time was a Mechanic's Roller Seat that was given as a birthday present. The seat was missing parts and Harbor Freight refused to send the parts or give me a refund (because I didn't have a receipt), even though the product was still in the original carton and obviously missing parts.
I will never ever buy anything from this company. They sell horrible products and don't stand behind anything they sell. Don't buy from this company!
Ordered a jack 6/23/20. Tried to cancel order twice, because a month later they still haven't shipped. Met Fedex truck and refused it. Still haven't received refund 8/15/2020. Nearest store is great (1 hour away) BUT DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!
Answer: I spent 24 minutes on the phone with them only to be told their product was perfect and problem was with my network. The person did not have a clue about what he was talking about.
Answer: I cannot see the particular part you are inquiring about, but could you make something to work? I am thinking you are referring to the notched piece that the handle locks into. Remember, you do not need to duplicate the piece, just make one that works. If you want to send me a picture I would have a better idea.
