A Dissatisfied customer the second time. The first time I ordered a set of Gillette blades and they were fake. It came in plastic bags and not the actual blade cover. I had to give it back to Gillette and let them know that the blades were not in a good condition which they approved. Called up Groupon and they say that we can refund the money to which when asked don't you guys know what is being sent, answer was no sir.
Now I ordered a RED bike for my child the receipt says Red but the box contains a Pink colored bike. Called up Groupon and again the same old answer we will refund you the money and cannot exchange. This was to be a birthday gift.
Anyone can sell anything on Groupon as Groupon does not verify or check the seller and the products.
My husband and I have used groupon many times and each time was successful and worth it. We have used it for local restaurants several times, auto detailing services and sightseeing boat tours. Each experience was successful- with my groupon being in my account right away and I was able to use the groupon app to redeem the groupon and show the vendor without having to print it out. I also like that with groupon I can see comments, questions, and reviews about the deal/business. I have used livingsocial once and am not happy with the lack of social visibility for a deal- I don't know if the merchant I purchased a deal from is reliable, there are no reviews of the company whatsoever. From now on, I'll stick to groupon!
Im highly unsatisfied with yall customer service, u will wait for a nice amount of time for someone to come and assist u and when its their turn to be patient with u, they don't, they know nothing and need more training, Why are almost all the clothes they sell are paper cheap quality? Always ripped and always late? Why was i giving a defective code on a learning website that has already been used? Now i the customer is playing hide and go seek with the company and groupon :( This is outrageous and im highly dissapointed, i cant believe this.
I have found some incredible deals on a wide variety of merchandise and services! From jewelry to nail and hair services, to a variety of gifts. And they are very fair about Groupons that you no longer need. You can exchange them for Groupon Bucks which you can use at any time.
I have several unused coupons and it is impossible to get a refund! The vendors don't respond nor does Groupon. I am going to complain to the state consumer protection agency. I advise everyone to do the same.
Please don't order from them. I purchase so shoes. And never receive anything not even a email. I check with the bank that got the money. They do not list a phone number or email so you can call. They give you the run around when you try to get your money back. They said you have to connect the company. I purchase from them. I am still trying to received my money back. I will let the bank try.
Groupon is a great site. The deals are great and the customer service is top notch. They provide the fastest response to emails that I have ever experienced and they make it right if there is a problem. I'm definitely a fan :)
I paid $69 for a Groupon for maid service with Best Maids Phoenix. I have been calling since before the holidays and never get a call back. I also filled out their online form and they never responded. I have been ripped off.
I'm following almost all time for great deals. Why I have to buy for the full price, if the major service like Groupon offers good discounts? The service does the great job. You need to be first to grab that offer. Good luck!
I Purchased what was supposed to be A dinner cruise for 2, it was advertised as being 41% off, I received confirmation and when I went to book my cruise which I paid 45 for they told me that the code was only good for 1 person not 2 people. This is false advertisement if you ask me, they scammed me into paying 45$, thinking I had just purchased a dinner cruise for 2 seeing that its nomally75$, it was only a ticket for 1 person, which makes no sense because most of their cruise are about 56 a person not 75$. The customer service was terrible trying to reach someone at groupon, they gave me the run around, put me on hold when I asked to speak to a manager and hung up on me. I called spirit they were rude as well, told me that the 45$ value can/will expire even though the voucher claims it doesn't. I will never purchase from groupon again, very disappointed
I wouldn't count on them at all. I purchased an item 29 of Jan, and I supposed to receive it at 3 of Feb. I bought it as a Valentine's day gift. Today is 13 of Feb and I still didn't receive it. I communicated with them three times. First time, they promised that I will receive it soon. Second time, they said they don't know where is my package. After all, they send me an email with this respond
"We have notified the shipping company and they will be starting an investigation into the issue within 24 hours. Their investigation should be resolved within 8 business days and they may contact you via phone during that time."!
Tomorrow is Valentine's day and they want to investigate and resolve the problem within 8 days! So I should tell to my boyfriend that he will receive his Valentine's day gift within 8 days! This is unacceptable for the online purchase site, which their commitment to on time shipping is the first rule to be successful.
I ordered a dress from ideeli and received the package very quickly. However, it was someone else's order! I sent an email describing what I ordered along with the order number, as well as the other person's information. I received an email back from ideeli's customer service saying that my original message to them was "scrambled" and if they did not have a response in 24 hours from me, they would close the issue. I did email back, and they have not responded in their own 24 hour time frame.

2. What if I did not check my email for 24 hours b/c it was the weekend?

Run from Groupon/Ideel. The 1/20 items that are correct, not trashed or defective, are not worth the hassle of paying for the 19/20 items that are junk, break, tear, or never even show up. CALLED MY BANK: Ended up filing a claim and bank refunded my money for items that I was charged for that never shipped. If you need to do the same have your date of transaction and e-mails with shipping confirmation ready etc. good luck!
Bought a groupon to Rockwall Deer Processing... shoulda done some research first. So far, the worst processor I have dealt with. I only hope i get my meat back at all. Seriously doubt it will be as ordered since they can never find your order when you call. They tell you they will call you right back and never do. When you call them you have to start over. Been 5 weeks since I dropped it off... no sign of being ready yet. They blow!
I just had and issue in which after all I didnt get anything but an apology because they cant do anything... it's a scam and a lie. They tell you that your a saving by purchasing with them and when you go to real website you see that you are paying exactly the same. Besides they dont have a good customer service, they dont have a phone line where you can actually complain or request about something... they take about two days to answer about any question or complaints but a the end they dont help you. So please dont waste your time purchasing in Groupon.
I have been using Groupon for several years and always seem to get the same thing with Local Services. I recently purchased a Dog Grooming Service. I called to schedule the service and was told that the Grooming Truck was out of service and I could be put on a wait list. Thanks Groupon, I guess the saying is true. You get for what you pay for. Cant get a refund for concert tickets, even if the concert is canceled! We called but they pretty much just told us it's in the small print and that we are SOL. I had never had problems prior, but I was seriously disappointed by this! They wouldn't even give us "groupon credit" which would have been a completely valid response.
I found Groupon to be an great site for a variety of reasons. Personally, I like the Massage/Spa coupons in my local area or when traveling plug in the city I am going to be in and take advantage of the Groupon. I traveled to visit my grandchildren and took with me many Groupon deals I had purchased at a great price. It was a win-win situation for both me and the grandkids. It gives one the opportunity to pick out something of interest that one would normally not purchase and try it out at a nice discount. I have never been disappointed!
Had long been registered, decided to purchase a coupon form them. Could not get the purchase to go thru, they had no record of my email, (though they sent the offer to the same email), Re-opened an account with a continued lack of success. Emailed them with a total two way exchange of 9 emails to finally reach a point where I was told that they cannot send the coupon to my PO Box, yet they only ship by Mail? Huh? Many of us in small town rural America have a PO Box as opposed to home delivery. It was suggested that I have it sent to a friend. My wife and I are successful middle aged business people, and I am supposed to have things sent to a friends house to pick them up? I think not. I replied, "I have a better idea, I'm done with Groupon, I'm out of here", and I unsubscribed from a site that is clearly a joke.

I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.

They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
