I am giving it 4 rather than 5 stars because the "good prices" comes with the caveat "check around first". They have some great deals but you have to be careful because I have found instances where prices are way lower elsewhere. So, like with any discount site, do your homework. Customer service on returns was outstanding! I found a chat feature immediately (without hunting all over and practically "accidentally bumping into it" like on Amazon). I had inadvertently ordered 2 pair of the same slippers. (I'll get to that issue in a minute). Customer service on the chat feature was excellent. Easy print of the return label at no cost to me. Popped them in the mailbox and got my refund within 10 days. The issue I had was with the website itself. I couldn't get the slippers in my cart when I was ordering and tried several methods to work around it. I am sure that's the reason I ended up ordering two. I went with the chat feature to handle the return to make sure my return attempt had taken because it was not reflected on the site. The chat agent completed the return again for me and, evidently, mine had worked because I ended up with 2 return labels in my email inbox. I think the site issues I experienced could be just browser issues, as is the case sometimes (certain browsers work better with certain applications). It certainly will NOT keep me from ordering from them again. If I have any site issues in the future, I'll be patient and log out and log back in. Oh, and I LOVE my slippers! Great quality at a super great price. Groupon and Jet have become my favorites for online ordering.
Groupon has wonderful discounted merchandise, hotels, and entertainment options. We will continue to use Groupon. Their staff is always friendly and helpful.
You can no longer contact customer service by phone or email. I can't get in touch with the company to schedule my massage and I can't contact Groupon to get my money back. I'll never use them again.
Have bought many items and deals for years! Highly recommend giving Groupon a try! Especially love all the awesome restaurant deals and my favorite to buy are massage and spa deals!
I booked a holiday this year through groupon and the prices were much lower than any other site. Love it and will be booking next year's holiday through groupon for sure.
I bought a bag from them - i won't say which, but it turned out to be fake! I don't want to get myself in trouble, but i don't trust this site - even if they are well known. Not a good apple.
Up until now I had been happy with Groupon. But it has been 2 weeks since I ordered and the 2 pairs of PJ'S have yet to be shipped out. They show processed an ready to ship but never ship out.
I've been using Groupon for years now and never had a problem. I've saved a fortune on gifts, treated myself to trips away and enjoyed a few meals out.

My husband and I were given a groupon voucher for Christmas for o four course taster menu at The Honest Miller at brook well we went today and all I can say is WOW we had an excellent meal and the chef Gareth Cox and his wife Liza were and absolute delight I can't praise the place highly enough we will be returning hopefully very shortly so thank you our son and his wife thank you to Gareth and his wife and thank you to groupon
I enjoy ordering from the site. I would say the site is only as good as the vendor that advertises, but they always try to honor a sale-gone-bad. DO NOT-DO NOT do business with M&M carpet cleaning UNLESS you get clear ramifications and what ifs.

Pretty good place to keep finding deals. I have very seldom been disappointed in Groupon, as the deals have always worked and even when they don't the staff has been helpful.
They offer great deals on restaurants to hotel booking. These deals help in saving a lot of money. The best part is that, they deals are mailed to your directly :)
I have been a customer with groupon for many many years and have purchased many deals. They are no longer the same. Where I always felt secure with purchasing from Groupon forget it now. Many purchases lately have had minor issues but a recent deal I purchased for a local SAT prep course for over 240.00 was the icing on the cake. When I called the tutoring company, the number was disconnected. Tried doing an online search for anothe possible number, but the same one was listed online. Went to call Groupon but now see they have disconnected all customer service lines... big red flag. After many days of online Chatting where they told me they reached out to the business and asked them to call me... ha ha... business is not even open anymore... I finally asked for a refund which they would not initially give me because I had purchased the deal more than three days ago. Then they offered me a refund in 243.00 in group bucks which was not acceptable. I finally contacted my credit card company who refunded me the amount and eventually they got Groupon to do the same for them.
Received wrong item. Non-existent customer service. Ordered Davidoff Cool Water fragrance for men BUT instead received GLOW from JLO for women thus ruining a birthday present. I called customer service on a Friday - and a recording told me that the ENTIRE Groupon staff was off on a retreat to "storyboard their New Years resolutions" and would be back at 9am the following morning which of course is a Saturday when they are closed. Groupon is a company of amateurs.
I received an email from Groupon advertising a deal for a restaurant, which has a location a few miles from my home. Groupon knows my zip code and regularly sends ads for local deals. I purchased the deal through it app. When I opened the Groupon, it showed the location on a map, which was not familiar. I discovered the restaurant was 40 miles away! The email ad does not show the location. When I called Groupon, I was told the restaurant did not give refunds and I would have to use it or lose it. I called the restaurant manager and he said it was not their policy to deny refunds, that it was Groupon's refusal. Groupon Customer Service was no help whatsoever. They (more than one rep) would not acknowledge any responsibility for their error. I had to connect with the Groupon sales representative for the restaurant to get resolution and that only occurred because he's buying the Groupon form me. So, don't trust Groupon for pushing "local" deals out to you and know you have to fight back when they screw up.
Update: After repeated attempts with documentation to support Groupon's error, there was no recognition of error from Groupon. The useless Customer Service reps ended the email exchange with "I am not able to assist any further with your particular request and we consider this issue resolved." Thank God the Local Flavor representative for to restaurant/deal stepped in and took care of it, personally, by purchasing the Groupon. This after the restaurant manager contacted him. So, Groupon App users beware. When Groupon messes up... you will be treated like the enemy when you contact them.
My experience has been great until I changed residences. After changing my residence and updating my address at least 6 times, including updating my address every time I make an order, my purchases are still going to my old address. All my attempts to get this situation resolved have culminated in a few condescending emails suggesting that I update my address. I guess their customer services is dense. I have told them that their software is not working as no matter how I update my new address, nothing takes, and the shipments are still send to the wrong address. So 2 days after complaining yet again about the fact that they have the wrong address, they shipped again an item at the old address. Then the said that I need to call UPS because they already shipped everything. UPS said that the recipient has not option, but Ideeli has all the options to change an address or redirect a package. But Ideeli refuses to do so. This is extremely poor customer service and fraudulent.
I will NEVER shop with Ideeli again.

As a note, the weight of your actual package and the method of shipment used determines if we are able to redirect your package. However, packages that cannot be redirected are shipped to your home directly from the United States Post Office. Therefore, if you have enabled mail forwarding from your old address, your package will be forwarded to your new address.

This was my first purchase from this website. I was looking for a specific Heys luggage set and they had it for 43% off the manufacturer's website (which was already marked down by about 50% off the original price). I made the purchase pretty quickly, then read the reviews of the site afterwards, which wasn't very smart of me. I was nervous, but turns out I had no reason to be. I made the purchase 5/9, received tracking info 5/12, and just received my luggage today, 5/18. It's in perfect condition and I am very, very pleased.
I have to say, the only thing I don't like about the website is that this item was non-returnable, but I figure it's no different than when you purchase an all-sales-final clearance item in a store. It's so deeply discounted, that the savings is worth it. You just have to be sure that you are not going to change your mind after purchasing something like this.
Anyway, I figured I would make a point of taking the time to give this site a good review because I feel that not enough satisfied customers do so. Which leads people to only see the unsatisfied customers' reviews, not the true bigger picture.

Bulkier items, final mark down items, hygiene items, items that ship directly from our manufacturer's warehouse, and fragile items are typically not eligible for return. All items state on the sale page their return eligibility so you know prior to check out if you have the option to return.

I do not believe that I can have a more unhappy shopping experience at any other online store. Basically, I sincerely hope that Ideel will go out of business soon.
First experience:
4 months ago, I ordered a celine bag on Ideel and after 2 weeks, my order was cancelled without any appropriate reason. During that 2 weeks, I was assured by at least 3 representatives that my order will be shipped very soon. However, it got cancelled because "we don't keep inventory. "Ok. I could not care less about how you manage your inventory, but please do not let your representatives to trap your customers by saying that" your item is definitely in stock and will be shipped".
One week ago, I again ordered that bag when it shows that " this item is in stock and will be shipped in 2 days". During waiting, I knew Ideel will play their game again and I was prepared. I still chatted with 3 representatives and again they assured me that "your order is already sent to warehouse and will be shipped in 24 hours. You can expect to receive a tracking any time now." Ok. Then after a week ( not 24 hours, a whole week), they say that they cannot authorize my paypal payment (through no fault of mine) and I need to change my payment method. I tried, but the website does not allow. I talked to another rep, he send me a slash link, and tell me that the order will be cancelled.
I just want to say that this will be the last time I order from Ideel. I will make sure to spread the words. As everyone else here is saying: Ideel is definitely a spam.
Get this... The website has some of the coolest stuff BUT the have "expected delivery dates" When I first signed up I was like "ok, I am cool with that" What they do not tell you is that they would be two days late when shipping your order.
BUT HERE IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD... If you placed an order of two or more items, they will ship them separately! You would get one of the items of your order, if lucky, on time but they would ship each other item days, sometimes weeks from the "expected delivery date." I am so fed up!
Just do not order any fragile stuff. I order 4 sets of dishes. I got the box and everything WAS BROKEN IN IT! But it is ok, right? Stuff like this happens every time you order fragile stuff. WRONG! I opened the box and they package the dishes in a box with no protection what so ever. No bubble wrap, no tissue paper. HECK! I would have been OK with newspaper. But no. They just dunked in a box and shipped away... No care in the world. Who in the world ships like that?
I would have been like "ok, its broken. Happens. I will let them know and they will reimburse me or replace the items." But what ticked me off was that they did not wrapped it for protection. I mean, I am a customer, I am paying for this stuff... Give me a break.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
