I have ordered a pair of sandals from Ideeli.com on May 1st, 2011 -- It is not June 9,2011 & I still have not received my sandals. I contacted their customer service through that chat, the 1st person I spoke to just kept replying "i'm sorry, i understand your concerns" to my question when am I going to receive my order?
Their policy is, you may return an item within 14 days from the day it shipped. Well... I placed my order on May 1, it was never actually shipped until May 11th, & has been sitting in California since May 18th (& is still there to this day).
I don't want a credit. I just want my money back. What makes them think I want a credit & go through this hassle again? I dont. It's ridiculous.
I don't care that I live in Hawaii. Any other place you order something online, it does not take over a month to receive!
You have to read every small detail in the coupon like if you are a lawyer! What is this, a different kind of a fraud?
I paid for this but i cannot get benefit from the promotion, i cannot get my money back either.
The problem is that it is not redeemed. How can you know that it can expire BEFORE the date of the event? It is crazy.
I will not recommend Groupon to anyone, for sure!

Doesnt deserve even 1 star. I ordered an item through mobile app, didnt ask me to add shipping address, i change my billing address, that was possible, but because their app doesnt work properly, the item will be send the previous address. I was not able to change or do anything with after just a few hours of purchasing it. The customer service sucks! They told me to go to my previous address(different state) and try to get the item. They were not able to refund me my money. Never ever
They couldn't do something as simple as refund a carpet cleaning when we couldn't get a hold of anyone to make an appointment. Groupon customer service decided on their own to refund the funds into an inactive account, obviously without my approval. Don't ask for a supervisor, they don't give a sh* either! Once you have an item that needs returning you find out that you get store credit only but worse: if the price of the item you purchase is not as high as the price of the returned merchandise, you loose the difference. They consider it redeemed. In my book that's called robbery.

My daughter got me started with Groupon when she and her boyfriend bought Bimini Cruise tickets from them. They were VERY happy with their $300ish (for both!) cruise. I have place 2 orders with them and was very satisfied with what I got. I did not have to use the customer service services. They would have gotten 5 stars if they didn't contribute to my full e-mail inbox 4-7 times a day.
The terms on Groupons are terrible. I signed up for a deal, wasn't able to redeem it and wasn't able to get any useful customer support. I'd think twice before using Groupon to buy anything important.

You must spend time reading fine prints. Even that, the fine print is so "fine" that you could misunderstand it. Groupon offers by the same supplier might change
Their fine print condition at any time... so even one time is great, the next time is "loudsy". Supplier acts as if you are their burden!

Was given a gift for a newspaper subscription and it was soooo confusing, a month later I'm still not receiving the paper. Many emails and phone calls and still no solution. Would NEVER recommend or use this site again!
Spent 3 days trying to resolve an issue that was a miss on their part and I'll noresolution. No one came on chat, when they called there was static on the line and when finally spoke to them the reps were not knowledgeable and arrogant.
I've gotten lots of great deal on Groupon and had excellent customer service and a quick refund recently when I accidentally clicked to buy a Groupon I didn't need. Keep up the good work! Becklee Niemchak
Purchased Body Shop Groupon 15$ for 30$. In the store instead of letting me use Groupon for present price made me use original price. I won't be going to this store again. Defeated the purpose of saving money!
I sent in a complaint in regards to an issue I was having with Paint Nite on August 20th. It is now September 20th and I am still being given the run around. They have said Paint Nite was going to reach out to me, they didn't. They asked me stupid questions in regards to me reaching out to the company. Of course I reached out to Paint Nite first! They keep saying they are looking into it. I have been patient and now it has been a month with no resolution! This company is horrible at customer service and does not know how to address or resolve problems. I would not use this company!
I placed an order and used a promotional coupon they sent me. The cancelled the ordet calling it "fraud" after taking money out of my account. It took me two weeks of corresponding to get no where with them. No resolution came about and by the time the got back to me the items I had originally ordered were sold out. They have no traiming in customer service. I do not recommend.

I bought a Groupon for a massage. The owner of the company never responded to my calls. I asked Groupon to return my money and was told I could only receive site credit bec it had been 3 days since I made the purchase. I'm disputing the charge with my bank and filing a complaint with the BBB. I will not use this site again and don't recommend it to others.
I've been a member of Groupon for about a year and I think the Company is outstanding! I think the Companies the advertise with them are great and the discounts they offer to be a member are outstanding. It doesn't cost anything to become a member and they actually give you a $10.00 coupon for referrals. I recommend this Company highly...
My sister and i spent thousands of dollars shopping in this website but we stopped because they kept promising us to provide a delivery service to my country ( bahrain) but they never did, we sent several emails to explain that the delivery charges are too high for us and we end up paying almost the original amount of the purchased items but they dont seem to care or understand, i also suggested sending through registered mail i know it takes long time but at least its cheap but they refused, i dont know why its difficult for them to cooperate or why they make it impossible to send items to my country, we like their goods quality but well never shop their again till they provide delivery service, and today my colleague asked me about it i simply didnt recommend it to her, i am so unhappy customer specially cuz i had to pay thousands on delivery.

They're not bad. I bought a coupon before for this spa thing and it wasn't a bad deal. Makes you wanna spend so much money though because you think you're getting a good deal all the time! Good once in a while
I paid lots of money for the service at a Brow Boutique, and when I decided to make an appointment, it turned out that the business was non-existent, and the phone was out of service. I chatted with Groupon representative, and my money was refunded within a day. Great service!
They were impossible to get in contact with for a problem I had with a groupon that I had purchased. I emailed them and got an unhelpful response. So I finally got a call from them through requesting a call and had the most obnoxious conversation with an employee there. I had never dealt with such rude and unprofessional service or behavior. I then realized I could not speak with him and asked to speak with his manager who was extremely helpful.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
