Worst shopping experience ever. I order sheets and a set of drinking glasses. My item was returned to ideeli by UPS three times because it was sent damaged, with the glasses broken. I complained to customer service each time, and all they did was try to resend the order. They never offered better shipping or anything. Not worth the headache.
I ordered 2 Cuisinart dish sets and the cardboard package arrived by UPS with the taping barely holding the box together. The 2 boxes of dishes were in the cardboard box with no bubble wrap or anything else to protect the dishes. Also, outside of the package had no markings saying,"Fragile, handle with care". As a result, 4 of the 8 mugs were in broken pieces. I've emailed Ideeli customer service and received a reply that someone will contact me within 24 hours. We'll see about that. In the meantime, I called Cuisinart about this and they said it's Ideeli's responsibility to make good. I foresee a BBB case in the works.
I have ordered before from them. Had to update my address, I know where I live. Their site wont accept my address. I contacted customer support and this was his response: If your shipping address is not recognized, we won't be able to process your order using that address.
In that case, I'd suggest sending the order to a friend or relative if possible, or to your work address. If you live in an apartment building, you may be able to send this to your building manager instead.
Now there is only one house on my road, right across the road from me. I work at home, and if I wanted to go to the store shopping, I would.
After buying a bed frame from Groupon Goods Global GmbH, that was supposed to be delivered within 7 days, contact Groupon (15 days later) to understand why my item was not delivered. Two days later they reply saying that the item was being held at delivery company and I had to call and solve the issue with them! Two hours on the phone, ££s spent and DX delivery would not even pick up the phone. More time and £ spend calling Groupon, all they could say was the issue was escalated and they would inform me of any changes by email!
I am still sleeping on the floor, waiting on that bedframe...
Want a advice? Buy from a direct company, pay £10 next day delivery and save yourself a lot of headache.
It's not the product I had an issue with... it was Groupon's policies that were the problem. I tried to return an order purchased in error just hours after I had ordered it. There's no easy way to reach Groupon so I ended up emailing them to cancel the order. By the time Groupon finished giving me the complete run around and stalling me, it was "too late" to cancel my order. By the way, it was a final sale as they reminded me at least a dozen times. Even if the order had not been processed for shipping, it still was not returnable. Just beware of the status of your item... even if you ordered something in error and attempt to cancel it a few MINUTES later, it will not be acceptable to Groupon if the item is a final sale item. Just be very cautious. Got the complete run around each and every time I did actually talk to someone. I will order from Amazon from here on out or Walmart.com. Very frustrating experience and rather misleading policies.
Delivery stated 7 working days, 14 days later i am still waiting and my parcel for the UK is still in Belgium. When contacting Groupon they say it has been despatched and the delay was due to a logistical error.
My second parcel that I purchased 4 days ago is awaiting despatch. When i contacted them after 2 days to complain about the non delivery of the first parcel so wanted to cancel they said they coundn't do anything and i would have to wait for the second parcel to be received and then send it back - despite it not even being despatched yet. I have today received the tracking information where they state the parcel has been despatched. When checking on the status of the delivery it states no delivery is available at the moment. Customer service is rubbish and do not want to help at all, just fob you off so if you have any issues then just say goodbye to your money as you wont get the item or a refund!
If you are a business, you need to stay away from this company. The deal ran with all the wrong information about my business. They had no idea why the info. Was wrong and they couldn't fix it until the last day. I was stuck responding to phone calls and emails about their issues. The final nail in the coffin was months after the deal ended, they ran another deal selling my products without my permission. If you're ok with only making 25% of what you normally charge, just run your own special with less headaches. I wish I never tried working with Groupon!
I have made many purchases here and while I may have had to wait -they always let you know via "my account" the status of your order with the estimated ship date and delivery date. I have had no problems at all with this site. You have to pay attention to the dates you have to return items and when you do return them you only get store credit as there are absolutely no refunds. I learned that the hard way. When you want to return something it is really easy -you go to the site, click "my account", scroll down and find the shipment, then the item and click and they give you a shipping label that you print out. Slap it on and drop it off at the UPS store and you are done! The quality has been great - I only order designers I am familiar with so I haven't had any surprises. I would recommend this site to all fashionista's who like to stay on a budget - you get great deals!

When it started, Groupon had a great customer service. You could reach them instantly by phone, by chat, or by email. Now, they have none. You try to contact them and you send a message with no address, no confirmation of receipt, no answer…..
I purchased two tickets in Groupon for King Spa in NJ for my spouse and me 10 days ago. Very upset about it. We had to pay an extra fee of more than $10 to spend the night there. This fee was not indicated in the fine print of the purchase on Groupon. I tried to contact Groupon Customer Service but they don't have a phone number! On top of that, the service at the spa was one of the worst service ever had. Very rude people. The place is very old and old-fashioned and the food is not a Spa food. I feel that I came back home more stressful than ever before! Don't spend the money there!
I bought a Groupon and never logged back in for about 3 weeks. When I did log in to call the merchant to set up my appointment my Groupon had been redeemed.
Groupon has no customer service number anymore. They make it EXTREMELY difficult to get to any person at all and you have go through a series of steps to get anywhere which is a complete waste of time because once you get in touch with someone they don't care and do nothing for you. Not a timeline of when they will complete the "investigation" not that they will do anything for you, nothing! So basically I'm out my $300 and could give a rats $#*!. I bought a oil change for Midas, though I can't use it in Manchester NH, wish that would of been more visible that Nh Midas doesn't accept coupons, otherwise I wouldn't of bought it, awesome job Groupon now you won't give me a refund, because of some time crap of your policy. I bought three San Diego city go tickets for $90 each, could only use one of them because they all had the same bar code. It cost me 1.5 hours of my time on the phone with multiple customer services to resolve the issue. They gave me a group on credit for two of them. I tried to use the credit for two more tickets to a concert and the tickets were never delivered via email. I contacted group on again and they basically told me that it is not their responsibility to deliver the tickets because the tickets should have been delivered by Vivid seats.
So I gave Groupon the money, they have no problem collecting it but they are not responsible to deliver the services promised on their website. They basically stole $180 and said sorry we can't do anything about it. Terrible company terrible customer service.

I also don't think this is a scam but I just have had much better experiences with so many other sites online. I signed up for the site but I don't really like it because they push too hard to make you spend money and I just unsubscribed from all the emails. I found myself spending too much money on things that I might not even use down the road. I just didn't feel right about the doing that. So overall I'm sure it's a good site for other people but not really for me. And especially with all of their accounting practices and from what I heard about how they treat business owners just to make money. It just doesn't feel like a good company or a good website.
I made an order for the dental cleaning. I realized they sent voucher to wrong email so I contacted customer service... can't talk to anyone so I did live chat, and they lied and said they refunded my account then took additional 40$ out and then deleted my account. Tried to make new account and they deleted that also, honestly horrible place to shop online, one voucher worked for Chinese then after made purchases with my card on file i never authorized. Would not recommend to anyone.
I am so disappointed by the way Groupon has transitioned its purchase of Ideeli into just another Groupon experience. Instead of seeing quality designer clothes for sale, They show pages and pages of low end products that are not enticing at all. Why would Groupon spend all this money to purchase a designer site, only to transform it back into Groupon Cheap. Again, so disappointed.
I have used Groupon in the past, but will no longer take the time to visit the site based on changes made. Currently there is not way to simply search restaurant deals-- that is, actual discounts. Instead, the only way to search restaurant deals now includes mixed among the discount offers an endless number of restaurants offering the... deal?... of ordering their food delivered, at full price, via Grubhub. Page after page after page of "results" full of offers for restaurants to deliver food. So... I know I can search Grubhub if I want some full price food delivered. That's not why I visit Groupon. I don't want to have to search through endless pages telling me this, when I didn't want to know. I get it: it is profit-motivated advertisement. If my reaction is any indication, though, it's not going to be very profitable. I'm taking Groupon off of my radar and simply won't visit anymore.
I will never buy from groupon again! I did not receive what I ordered. Im assuming someone stole it out of my mailbox. I asked to be resent the same items. I did not want a refund, just wanted the items. They refunded me the money and told me too repurchase them. I told them I bought them the first time at a discounted price, asked if there was any way I can get that price. They said no, I asked if they could give me a coupon or a credit for the difference for I could repurchase them. Over $12 difference you have lost a good customer, Ive never worked with a company that was not willing too do anything too make this right with me as the customer. I understand it is not your fault the items were stolen, but you were not willing too replace and make me happy. I will not spend a penny with this company ever again!
It was a mistake to buy something through GROUPON. They are the biggest thieves and the customer service did not listen to my problem. Why it happenned? Put me on hold and then hung-up. Please do not waste your money and buy anything. Returns are impossible... Refunds don't exist from them.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
