Not only are they great products but wonderful prices and donate to shelters on EVERY purchase! I've been shopping with them for years and everyone I know who's received their stuff as gifts, love them.
I have bought several items fro the greater good. The have all been shipped in a timely manner and have been just what I ordered. Plus, it makes me feel good that I am helping animals without homes or other causes.
I have ordered zillions of things from their sites for myself and for gifts. All our gift recipients loved the things and many of them now order from them as well. On occasion I have had to call Customer Service and received excellent service. They are very good about returns and/or exchanges too.

I ordered on May 14th... still waiting for email to say it has been shipped. But, they have been paid. So what is up Great Goods! I called and told they could not cancel or return my monies. We are now June 1,2020. Man had stuff ordered from China that is here already. Where there stuff is good or not... I won't be ordering from this company and just donate to my AHS in my state. My goodness what a rip off. I am tired of them saying Covid19 is the reason. You sure didn't have covid19 issues taking my monies 2 weeks ago.
I purchased 1 coat, 6 tops and 3 dresses. The clothing had that cheap dye smell and lack of quality. I contacted company and returned all of the items. I waited 1 month for the credit on my credit card. It never came. I contacted company and they said I did not return anything. I emailed them a copy of my Return postage receipt and the tracking saying the package did arrive. They stated they would call me back. They never did. I called them and they stated they only received 2 shirts back. (Funny since the whole shipment was together. They stated they would only give me Store credit due to length of time that had passed. (This was their fault-not mine.) Tried to use Store Credit and they said it didn't exist! Don't use this company unless you have money to burn and need a hobby talking to crabby employees in the Return Department.
Just received two items ordered in record time. I admit that I don't order often, but I have never been disappointed in the quality of them items. I like the fact that when I do order, it goes to help the animals in need. I have spread the word about your organization to anyone and everyone who will listen.
Not only was the service bad and i had to keep looking for my waitress but there was 7 dogs in the restaurant that i find disgusting. I'M HIGHLY ALLERGIC I felt uncomfortable the whole entire time. Dogs dishes on the floor? Really? You can't tell me all service dogs? What if the dogs needed to go to the bathroom? Disgusting! Food wasn't good enough to ever go back as well

I ordered rain boots from this company, and paid for it through PayPal. A few days later I get a notice of a refund. First of all, they didn't even send me a reason (I had to email them for one). Second of all, the only refunded the boots, tax, and shipping. Don't get me wrong. I donate to other animal places, but without being scammed. The guy said that they were out of stock when my order was placed. It shouldn't have been accepted then. I feel they just let their system accept out of stock orders to keep donations. I'd rather not be tricked for my donations. I'll never support this company.
Over the last 5 years I have purchased dozens of items. I usually buy 5-10 items 1-2 times a year for Christmas and birthdays. I have bought jewelry, art items, soaps, ceramics, clothes, hand bags, shoes, and more. The Antique Sari tote bags were of such good quality that I have purchased something like 7 so far.
I have found that the quality and craftsmanship varied between the hundreds of items that they carry. But then, consider that the items come from many different countries and different communities. And I select what I choose to buy carefully so that I can support those communities.
I placed an order in the evening and when I received the confirmation email it had changed one of the items I order from black to purple. When I immediately called they were closed. I went on line again and the item was no longer offered. It was a Black or Purple Paws slap watch. When I called this morning as soon as they opened they stated that watch was sold out of black and that I took the last purple. I asked to please credit my account as I hated purple. Alex stated order was already shipping. I must say I was not happy. Its not the money but the fact that because black was sold out they sent me purple. Now I have to send it back which will cost me money. This is wrong and I will never use this company again. Poor customer service. Sadly. I donate hundreds yearly with Pet Rescue and will continue but never use this company again.
I ordered a butterfly solar lantern I saw advertised on Facebook. I decided to buy it. It came in today about a week to 10 days after I had ordered it. It looks better than the picture. This is my first time ordering from GreaterGood but perhaps not the last.
I purchased 2 items to help The Rainforest Site, which is under the umbrella of Greater Good. I also purchased 2 other items from Animal Rescue & Greater Good itself. The Animal Rescue & Greater Good gifts I bought had cards in them showing where the costs of these items were applied. I called & spoke to Cole asking if I could have 2 Rainforest Site cards, as these are gifts for my grand girls & I wanted them to know that fact. Cole was VERY nasty, seemed like he had NO idea what he was talking about, but said he'd send me an email saying where a portion if the costs went. And then he HUNG UP on me! The email arrived & it was about Thea Animal Rescue! Really?
These items will go back! They're not good quality anyway. I guess their employees are equally bad quality! Shame on you!
I placed an order on 5/4/17 for a tunic and two purses got an email saying the order was shipped via DHL on 5/6/17 and as of 5/10/17 was in Stow, OH. I had the items sent to our PO Box and have checked it since 5/11/17 and again on 5/13/17 and still no order. My husband is going to the post office today 5/15/17 to check and see if the package is there even though the tracking is still saying my order is in Stow, OH as of 5/10/17. If it's not there I will not be ordering for Greater Good ever again, it will be like the one time I ordered from dresslily not knowing till it was too late that they were in China. It took forever to get my refund back from them. But Greater Good is in the U.S. and it shouldn't take this long for my order to come.
I have purchased numerous items from the GreatGood site. I have also gotten several of their free offers of the day. The purses, flip-flop, coffee mug and other items were high quality and I love them. The free items are adorable. I got a breast cancer ribbon neck lace and some reusable shopping bags. The bags look like a strawberry, a bunch of grapes and a pineapple. They have a draw string and when you loosen it, the bag pulls out into a decent sized shopping bag. When you are finished you simply stuff the bag back into the pocket and once again it looks like a strawberry etc.
I did buy a tunics twice. The large was too small and the extra large was too big. Sizes vary, I returned both with no problem at all and got my credit back on my card within several days.
I hate that anyone has had a problem with the GreaterGood site. It truly is a great cause.
I purchased a lot from this company and I never sent anything back or complained until I ordered Cat's of many Faces hobo. The lining tore very easily and after it did I went onto their site and looked at the review's and 1 person had the same hobo as I bought replaced and 2 other's complained of the tearing as myself. Customer service (Bashie English) tole me that no one else complained about the hobo and the defect must be on my end. I went back to look at the review's and the hobo and review's were taken down. And after all I have spent on their product's. They refuse to do anything. I will never order from this site again!
I want to say Thank You for the quick delivery! I have an employee that is leaving us in less than two weeks and I was afraid that I wouldn't get the order in time. I got it three days before! Was the Nepal jacket. She is from Nepal and she cried when she opened it. It is a beautiful jacket!
I ordered a necklace from this company. The first time I wore it, it broke. I emailed the company about the broken necklace. The customer service rep asked me for the model number. I did not have the model number, so I sent a photo of the item. After sending the photo, I was told it was past the 45-day return window, so they could not help me and would not be replacing or refunding the item.
I ordered 2 mugs early November. I never received notice of shipment. When I contacted them I was told they would be sent out and I would receive by 12/06. Contacted on 12/11 since I still hadn't received them. On 12/14 I was issued a refund. Wanted the mugs, they were Christmas gifts. Not happy at all.
I got 2 pair for my kiddos for Christmas. They are great quality and a super cute uncommon color! They LOVE them! Thank you! I came back and got puppy paw print shirts for spirit wear for their school too.
Answer: Depending on how you donate will depend where the money goes. At GreaterGood we have several ways to donate to our causes. If you purchase items from our various websites such as the Animal Rescue site portions of those funds from your purchase go to help shelter animals in general. The amount averages to be about $. 50 per dollar goes to help shelters. If you elect to donate to a specific cause such as our flights to freedom or specific 'Gifts that Give More' option, 100% of that money donated goes to the actual cause you selected. The donations that you give for any of our Gifts that Give More causes is also tax deductible. You can also obtain further donation information from our non-profit partner's website at www.greatergood.org.

Answer: We are true to each of our cause areas and have employees and customers across the political spectrum. Our customers can choose which sites to click and shop on based on their preferences, and we work hard to provide each of them good products and services. Because our cause areas are different, we don't sell leather or horn on The Animal Rescue Site but do sell items made from these materials on The Breast Cancer Site or the Veterans Site; since we believe we have a duty to each of our charity partners and cause areas to raise funds and be impactful, in whatever ways can help most. For instance, we work hard to source and sell fair trade goods which provide rural women artisans a way to pay for their children's education in addition to providing meals and opportunity to refugees from war and disaster both in the USA and elsewhere on The Hunger Site. Greg and I met at the University of Michigan in the mid-70s on the "Bottle Bill" campaign and believe there is much more agreement across the political spectrum on issues than is commonly acknowledged. The returnable bottle law in Michigan is the strongest in the nation, and it was passed by voters across the political spectrum who are all interested in reducing waste and energy usage. That campaign was primarily funded by the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (www.mucc.org) who are hunters; with lots of volunteers from environmental groups and young people who were primarily not hunters. Both Greg and I believe there needs to be more economic justice; which was one of the reasons we created this on-line business over 20 years ago, because it empowers our customers and staff to be able to do good in the world every day.
