It was pouring rain & i was in the shop behind my house. My bf was laying on the couch waiting for the order to show up. I get a phone call from the driver asking which building i was in? If i was in the very back house? What? I left delivery notes saying i am the house w the big concrete wall around it. The only house with that on the entire mile long road. He was next door. I had to run thru my house, side yard & gate were flooded, and it front all the way to the road before i realized where he was. Getting soaking wet, it's pouring rain! I ran the few hundred feet to neighbor driveway to wave to him, he couldn't see me. I had to get my phone out and call him back to tell him where i was. My phone is not water resistant, I'm soaking wet, food was getting cold & just as I'm going inside a transformer blew killing the power to the neighborhood. Something as simple as reading a note left for the delivery driver would have left me dry & w hot food albeit still in the dark. The little things sometimes have such huge impact on others that we never notice
