Having our flights cancelled by the airline (5 tickets) I was sent a email stating that I needed to call them to rearrange, the email clearly stated that the airline would rebook the flights for free or put the tickets on hold. I therefore called Go to Gate and had to wait for over 2 hours to get through, I managed to rebook the flights, however Go to Gate said I had to pay them a administration fee and charged me £17!
The following day my outgoing flights got rescheduled (by the airline) to a time which was not convenient for me, so I called Go to Gate and again had to wait for over 2 hours to get through, this time only to have the call cut off by the agent!
I called again and again waited for over 2 hours, this time only to be told by the agent that I would have to pay another £270 to reschedule the flight. I explained that I could not get a coach from my city to the airport at the rescheduled times and that we had lost money not only on the coach tickets to the airport but also domestic flights we had booked to get to our destination and therefore I was not prepared to pay another £270, especially as it was not my fault that the original flight was cancelled. The agent was not willing to assist at all, so I then asked to cancel the flights and get a full refund instead, I was then told I needed to be put through to a different team who could cancel the booking, and again I was put in a waiting que for another one and a half hours!
When I finally got through I asked to cancel the flights, however I was told that they had to contact the airline for authorisation to cancel the booking and that even if the airline agreed to provide a full refund, Go to Gate would deduct a £30 administration fee and they would not refund the £17 they already took from me. I have been told that they would email me in a few days to confirm if I can get a full refund... I still don't currently know where I stand with this... A complete nightmare of a company... STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Unfortunately gotogate is the only travel provider I have had to write a poor review about in these times mainly this is in direct comparison with all other travel providers who have been nothing but excellent
I was due to fly to Romania on the 25th of July but of course as expected this was cancelled due to COVID-19 nothing gotogate or anyone could do about this factor this was cancelled on the 22nd of May, I have now been sent a generic email on the 1st and 15th of each month with absolutely no ability to communicate with anyone.
I have contacted the airline directly who have offered more information on the matter which is outrageous as gotogate are the ones who processed my payment my contract should be with then and they should communicate on my behalf.
The airline is apparently waiting on a loan form the Romania government with no time frame in place, I believe I have been more than patient but now losing my job and struggling financially gotogate are still denying my access to my funds which is illegal
I do not see why they cannot refund me the amount due as they a multi million pound company wait for the airline to issue them with their funds
I urge anyone reading this do not book with me his company at all the little bit extra it may cost to book direct is well worth it after experiences like these
I will not book with gotogate again and will actively stop anyone I know from booking with them
We booked a flight for a stag party of 16 to krakow booking with gotogate flying with Wizz air. The flight out was fine and we had no issues of any sort. The return flight however ended up a nightmare! We were flying back to Luton but due to the very hot weather Luton's runway melted so the flight was delayed. We were then notified that the flight had been cancelled and that we needed to collect our luggage and head to the Wizz air information desk where we would be advised on the next steps and sorting a return flight. Having stood in a queue for 2.5hrs we finally got to the desk where we were advised that the we would have to contact gotogate as they had placed our booking. The website was next to useless simply advising that we call the customer service team. We called the number several times and on each occasion following the brief introduction message the line cut us off. We have sent multiple emails as this appears to be the only method of communication this bunch of rip off merchants use requesting a refund for the cancelled flights. I have been told that we need to speak with Wizz air directly to sort this situation (WE DONT... as we never dealt with them, we booked through gotogate) I have been told that as the cancellation was COVID 19 related we would get no refund? WHEN DID COVID 19 MELT TARMAC?! We have been offered wizz air credits which we can access via our wizz air account that we used to buy the tickets. Except we don't have an account GOTOGATE DO so these are totally pointless and not what was requested. Currently we have been waiting 6 months and have received absolutely nothing back from gotogate.
They are an absolute disgrace and should be avoided at all costs!

I called their customer service twice. Uzair was not helpful. Couldn't check in on my flight with the booking reference number they provided.
Thry accidentally cancelled our tickets then failed to issue a regund for months. Customer service team is useless
