GotGate is a Scam agency
It is been an year and they have still not refunded my cancellation even after multiple calls and emails

I summarize (booking reference LGAIVU)

The company, Gotogate/Oy SRG Finland AB, Corp. ID no. *******-7, VAT no. FI*******7
He sold me a ticket: Barcelona-milan-tel aviv-phuket

This ticket should never have been sold, since it is not possible to transit in Israel due to COVID restrictions, something that Gotogate should know and never sell this route

Faced with such a situation, upon arrival in Israel, I was detained at immigration and deported back to Italy, thus losing my connection, destination hotel, prepaid PCR at destination, having to book a new flight, more hotels, new PCR at Italy and new PCR in destination. Without counting all the inconvenience and generation of new documentation

I have spoken with Gotogate and after going through 4 operators, to whom I have had to explain my life, they tell me no

For more indignation, I paid Gotogate for insurance and they told me that is not covered

I have never filed a complaint, I do not want to do it because of the money that is little, I want to go further since I understand that what has happened to me is an injustice

Let's see if I'm lucky and the fact of being European helps me in this case

Gotogate is a honorless travel agency, they promised a refund but refused to issue a refund. Please do not use them for travel.

Gotogate did not make any refund. Airlines had made a full refund with instructions to refund the amount to the customer for the canceled ticket.

You have to be tech savy and know your way around the website and other details to cross reference your details and information.

I want to take a moment to warn anyone who reads this post to NEVER USE GOGATE SERVICES.
I'd like to share my experience with them form the past week. I booked 4 tickets for a flight that was approximately 1 hour in length. After making my payment, I noticed on my bill a charge that was double the agreed upon price on a flight that was at a different time then the one I booked. There was also another $1,500 charge for "seat reservations" that was not mentioned to me when I booked, nor did I approve any such charge.
After a few days, and numerous long distance calls that were mysteriously "disconnected", I decided to file a complaint with both my local Police Department, as well as the police in London. There has already been exposure of these cheaters on social media, you will soon see similar stories from the mainstream media. A lawsuit will soon be coming as well, and hopefully dismissal for the representatives of GOGATE who were involved in these terrible circumstances (Yogesh C., Maul, Arti, Hanava)
Until these cheaters are brought to justice, I'm certain I will get the same stock response of "Thank you for your inquiry, we'd love to help you through a phone call". There is no help to be had from these people, so don't wast your time.
In short, don't use GOGATYE services.

No customer service, tryna sell you $#*! all the time, not telling you $#*!, not letting you check in etc. etc. Etc

Terrible business, wont help despite positive covid test. I would book anywhere else instead of through them

This company is awful! Do not buy from them! They canceled my ticket twice for no explainable reason.
