Goldstar outsourced my purchase to TodayTix.com. They took my $ and I never got my tickets. Don't recommend
I bought this shoe 1 month ago. This shoe was torn when he asked for a solution. What does the copy of glodstar sell? Goldstar is not good.i think this is bad brand
Did not send tickets. Had to retrieve at box office. No response to emails. I would be hesitant to use them again. A hassle.
I purchased a ticket for an event, and within a few days, the pricing significantly went down. Goldstar would not issue a credit. There's no way to see your credit amount in your account by logging in. You need to email them to provide you with a code for your remaining balance, and it's up to you to keep that information stored safely until you're ready to use it. Their website is no longer user-friendly with detailed account information.
Me and sister ordered to go chili cheese fries and coneys. The food tasted like someone put perfume in it. I call the restaurant no one answered the phone. Call corporate office the same thing. I will never eat there again. SKYLINE HERE I COME. NASTY $#*! GOLD SRARS. SORRY $#*! COMPANY.DON'T HAVE THE PROOF. THAT WAS WEDNESDAY.
I bought 2 tickets via Goldstar for the event "an intimate evening with David Foster & KatharineMcPhee 04/13/23. The event was
Cancelled and rescheduled for more than 1 year ahead (05/15/24). The theatre offered refund for customers who bought tickets directly through the venue and said I should receive a refund from Goldstar so I requested my refund. May, 19th Keith, Goldstar Customer care team leader promised to send me a check with refund or give a credit. I sent him my mailing address and requested a check. Since that time I opened multiple tickets trough Goldstar website, sent multiple emails with the request to give me an update. All my requests were just IGNORED! And it was big amount of money. I just can't believe it. No refund, no any reply to my multiple emails and inquiries through website, no credit on my account. I don't even need any credit because
I'll never use the company anymore who never returned customer's money.
Below the photo of the only one Goldstar's reply. Since that time there was a complete ignorance.
I purchased tickets through Goldstar last month to see Bernadette Peters in Pasadena. Upon receipt of the tickets I noticed they were much further back then the seating chart on the Goldstar website indicated. I notified their customer service and they confirmed the seating chart was wrong but stood by the seats assigned were correct because they were what had been intended to be sold. Several days later I checked their website and they were still falsely advertising the location of the tickets. As this was in essence a bait and switch I asked that my assigned seats be changed closer to the original section I was led to believe I was purchasing, which I had confirmed on Ticketmaster were available, or to refund my order. They did neither and stopped responding to my emails. I would not use their service but if you do, be sure what you were sold is what you bought.
I booked these tickets over a month ago for a friend's Bday. The show time changed a month ago and they did not tell me. In return, they gave me a refund! Ruined plans and a special 50th BDay and NOTHING! WILL NEVER BUY. According to Geffin theater, GOLDSTAR does this all the time.
Purchased a St Patrick's Day cruise and on the boat purchased drinks for $18 each which was high but doable but when we went to sit down, we're told we would have to pay $150 to sit. So we asked if there was anywhere we could sit during the 3.5 hour cruise and the girl apologized saying it would be even more upstairs. So we went to the second deck to find there was a tiny corner we could lean on but would have been frozen solid after standing there and the fact we couldn't sit down at any point had us exit the cruise before departure. We spoke to the manager and he was not at all interested saying, "why will you want to sit, you will wanna dance". There was no mention of that. So not only did we lose what we paid but it cost us a fortune for the taxi to and from and the cocktails we threw away to get off the boat before departure. Will never buy from Goldstar again.
Thought this was a discount ticket website. I bought two tickets from the site for $80 total and went to the theater to pick up the tickets at will call and the printed price on the ticket was $8 less per ticket. I emailed Goldstar to ask for a courtesy credit towards my next purchase and they denied it. Really disappointed in their customer service.
Their website says "Get access to big savings with Goldstar-member exclusives like Rush and Roulette" and the owners statement "providing responsive service, offering more event choices, delivering great value, sending reminders of upcoming events, following up after the event to make sure things went well, and always looking for a way to help, to say yes, to remove the barriers to our members getting out of their homes and into venues to see great show"
What a bunch of hot air - BS!. Thanks for ripping me off Goldstar.
Be very careful purchasing anything on this site they don't care about valued customers they just want to take your money. I'm taking my business to Groupon.
They don't support the arts. They take your money at "discounted" rates only to slap on a multitude of fees that end up costing more than the ticket itself. They offer no refunds or changes so you're forced to lose out on money if you simply can't attend the event. They don't have a customer service phone number (RED FLAG) and seldom respond to email inquiries and questions. The customer service is horrible, the fees are horrible, their policies are horrible. They aren't supporting the arts, they're ripping off the arts.
I saw EINSTEIN at the Santa Monica Playhouse recently and it was one of the best performances I have ever seen on stage. Jack Fry's was extraordinary as Einstein.
I was riveted throughout the entire performance and will most definitely see it again.

I purchased two Riverdance tickets for the Fox theatre in Atlanta. They should inform customers this is limited view tickets Before they purchase not afterwards. This is not ethical. I have purchases many tickets from them before and this is the first time they mislead me. You can certainly sell limited view tickets but you should be upfront about this.
I wrote in asking if we could be credited for 2 tickets as two of our party had COVID, I was told Goldstar would have to contact the venue. Next email I receive is that all of our tickets have been cancelled. Support admitted they had made a mistake but I can never use them again given this egregious error and shouldn't have happened.
I spent $139 on tickets for a Christmas event on December 24th, 2022 to Enchant in Scottsdale, AZ. When I got there my QR code was invalid and the vendor was unable to find my order by searching the name, email, or confirmation number of my ticket order. I then had to spend another $115 at the vendor site for brand new tickets in order to get into the event. Very disappointing to get scammed when trying to create some Christmas magic for my young kids.
Gold star SUCKS! They don't offer exchanges if you accidentally purchase wrong date or event. They just want your money, absolutely offer no help.
The terms and conditions of the vouchers I got off this site are horrible. I got the Newport Landing's Holiday Cruises vouchers, where I have to reserve my spot with the cruise company.
Although I paid for the peak hour tickets, they only let me choose from either 6 PM or 7:30 PM, 2 out of (around) 12 time slots available per night.
Since these are peak hours, they are always sold out, making it impossible for me to redeem them. I finally gave up and bought another set of vouchers from Groupon, which cost the same but with better terms and conditions (5-8:30 PM).
I have to assume the cruise provider (Davey's Locker Sportfishing) and Goldstar purposely make it impossible for buyers to redeem these vouchers.
Terrible seats, terrible acoustics, obstructed view.
Paid for orchestra seats section B based on a seating chart from the theatre's website that differed from GoldStars. I was given the back of house seats which are terrible. Contacted customer service in advance to get the seats changed or refunded. Madeleine was no help at all.
Goldstar Events: You get what we give you, not what you paid for...which is why I'll be using another ticket service moving forward
Saw their ad for Monet tickets in Chicago for $23.99 per ticket for Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through September 25,2022. Paid that plus $4 per ticket but only received discount codes and no tickets. Then I had to pay more to get the actual tickets... a total of $51.97 per ticket. What a scam!
Do not use them! Totally deceptive... hoping to help people avoid this company...
Answer: Oh gosh yes... I don't blame you but Golstar is the real deal... I have never had a problem with them... and gosh have I saved money... jump in lol the water is fine... hope this helps.
Answer: Please email help@goldstar.com for help with this. Your first and last name should be on the will call list. They can fix it for you.
