Delivered when expected. Well packaged. Subs from White House were fresh and delicious. Not the same as getting at whitehouse in person but was a great experience as I am a native of New Jersey living in Florida now. Will order again and recommend you to my friends and family.
The shopping was great easy to navigate I found all kinds of goodies but they have excellent customer service really great agents that are extremely helpful & respond quickly love the amount of different food items you carry! Def worth a stop by the website you will see for yourself
Delivery was on time, instructions were clear and easy to follow. Food was delicious! Also liked that they included literature about the restaurant. We will order again and try some other restaurants out!
Ordering process is super easy. I love that you get to pick your dates for delivery. I've ordered a few times now and everything arrives on time and is packaged well enough to keep it from getting damaged!
Everything exceeded my expectations. I place my order, which was very easy to find great options. I picked cookies from NY bakery that I love for a special occasion. They arrived on time, in perfect condition and were so fresh! It look exactly like the picture posted. I will definitely use them again, already looking to order something special for birthday that is coming up.
Update: Ultimately Goldbelly refunded me but not without a few obnoxious weeks of back and forth. I'm not changing the rating or the review since it took way too much effort to get them to do the right thing. I also request Goldbelly not contact me any further.
White House Subs were supposed to be delivered with overnight tracking but didn't arrive for 48 hours after it was supposed to arrive. Customer service flippantly told me to kick rocks. That's who your doing business with if you order from them. Beware.
Everything went well. Order was right on time. It was a gift to my shut-in friend. Dungeness crabs is her favorite food. She said they were very meaty and sweet and there was enough to share with someone else. But she didn't. Lol One the best she's ever had.
We got the 2-for-1 bourbon cake last week and both are gone already. The savory hand pies arrived today. I was concerned it might be a problem as I know you must deal with a lot of small businesses that are having problems right now. They arrived still frozen and were absolutely delectable.
Excellent products from Pike Place Fish Market... fresh, delicious. Arrived as stated, still in a cold container. Definitely will order from again.

An expensive delicate order was delivered perfectly. It showed regard and care for these products including caviar, smoked fish and cream sauce- It came cold, tightly packed ( nothing wriggled) - excellent job!
My daughter said the order shipped quickly. She is looking forward to having a vegetarian chili dinner and freezing the rest for future meals. Haven't heard if it was the best chili she's eaten but awaiting her taste-test!

Food came in perfect condition and was easily prepared. Tasted delicious (despite the fact that pizza was frozen!). Obviously expectations are lower with delivered food so exceeding them is always impressive.
I ordered a $99 smoked fish platter thinking I would receive what was pictured. Not even close. When I voiced my complaint, they told me we do not refund or compensate customers for being unhappy with their products.
I have ordered multiple times from Goldbelly previously and been overall pleased with the products. This time, not so much. I ordered a Easter Cookie and decorating set ( 1 dozen) at the very pricey price of $69.00 plus tax to decorate with my Granddaughter when she visits. The cookies arrived and every single one of them was broken... not so good for decorating. I contacted Goldbelly and was promptly told they do NOT refund EVER for damaged products and they could not ship in time for my planned visit with their next available shipping date being 8 days away. Fortunately, I have found another company I have used previously for cakes and baked items without any problems, Bake Me A Wish. They will now be my go to always. Not sure what I should order with the "account credit" that I will be receiving in a "few days" from GoldBelly, but better be something solid as a brick to survive their shipping.
I just received the cake I ordered well in advance for my wife's birthday. Everything pointed as an extremely pleasant experience with Goldbelly and their customer service was prompt to reply when I reached out to confirm the cake would be in fact shipped.
Cake shipped 2 days ago (they didn't offer a faster delivery) and site clearly explains that the product is properly packaged and protected to keep the products in the best temperature (as possible). Well, I can't really explain how disappointed and mad I am by what just came out of the box. Pictures speak for themselves. Cake looks like it had been tossed around. Plastic cover is damaged, it was really poorly cooled with just 1 ice pack and the shipping box was damaged and did not indicate fragile in any way or form. I've reached out to Goldbelly and still waiting for a response. Will definitely ask for a refund because the cake has gone bad and is inedible.
For starters, our cake never showed up. I emailed, called, emailed again, tried commenting on FaceBook page, they deleted my comments. It has been 4 days since the delivery date and still, NO CAKE. The party is tonight. I'll have to go buy one at the store now. This is unforgivable. I will continue to call this company out on as many sites as I can so people will not get taken like we did. There is enough stress at this time of year, I certainly don't need this fiasco. Shame on them!
If you're in no rush and want to over pay, this is your place. We ordered 7 days before requested delivery of 12/24 and part of the order made it and part didn't. No advance notice from customer service, no emails explaining the situation just the standard that they can't control the vendor or UPS and its the busy holiday season. Well if you can't fulfill your orders then don't take them. They offered to refund our money or deliver a week later and then they gave us a $15 coupon good for 30 days, some consolation for a ruined holiday gift. The items are over priced enough to include overnight shipping. Save yourself money and embarrassment and just go directly to the vendor. If not, use at your own risk.
Easy ordering, shipped as expected, packaged well. Lobster roll kit was great. Initially, the bag looked small to be 2 pounds of lobster, but there was plenty. Although it was frozen, it was really delicious. They also wrote a little note on the shipping box, which made it feel much more personal. We will definitely order again!
I had 2 different orders sent as a gift to my vet and his staff. They called me saying they both arrived in perfect condition and the taste was out of this world. They were so impressed I will order from you again.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
