The next day (Friday) they got back. Offered to overnight the package on Monday so it would get there on Tuesday. My party was on Tuesday so I said that would work. Never got a response. I called twice and emailed three times. On Wednesday, they emailed and said they would overnight it for Thursday. I was very frustrated and said I no longer wanted the item. And then they mocked me. And sent the order anyway. Total nightmare and i'll NEVER use them again.

Paid extra for a specific delivery date so food would not have to be put in the freezer upon delivery. Order would of been free shipping if I did not select the date. Specified Friday delivery and it showed up on the Monday before. Sat outside all day as I was not expecting or ready for the delivery. Did not receive any notification it was shipping early. Requested a refund of $25 shipping charge and was offered a $15 coupon for my next order that was only good for a month. Terrible customer support. Will not order from them again.
Easy to order and was delivered very fast. My brother was delighted. He said it was kept very cold or frozen during the deliver. He was very happy with his coney kit from Detroit.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
