I am SO upset. After searching multiple stores, I had ordered a range on May 10 from this company that had advertised a good price and the earliest delivery date. The first deceitful practice was promising something they could not fill - That date was changed SIX TIMES. That was frustrating enough, but I knew at least part of the situation was out of their hands as the order was backordered from the manufacturer, so I tried to be patient.
June 30 I logged into my account for an update and the status had finally changed to say "Your items have arrived and are preparing to ship. You will receive tracking information shortly." I was so excited! I sent a message to confirm and was told "Yes your order is ready to ship! You will receive a email when this order ships out followed by tracking, you should receive that email in the next few days." So we wait... days went by, followup messages were ignored. Yesterday I called and was told over the phone it was in the warehouse and they ship to Ohio on Thursdays, so would be leaving either this week or next. Somewhat irritated, but at least the end was finally in sight, right?
Well... last night (conveniently AFTER business hours so I could't reach someone), I get an email stating it was "on backorder" and "expected to ship on: 08-10-2021." WHHAT?!?!?!? I emailed. I FB Messaged (both ignored). Today I called. I read off the transcript I had stating that they had it 2 weeks ago... several minutes on hold but nothing. They have had my money for TWO WHOLE MONTHS and I have nothing to show for it other than their worthless apologies. They don't know why I was told that it was in stock but they won't have it for another month. How can I believe that? It could be Christmas at this rate!
I told them I wanted to cancel, get a complete refund - to which they replied it could take 10-14 days (though they've had my money, and no product, for over TWO MONTHS!) Truthfully I feel entitled to interest charges or other reimbursement for all the inconvenience and stress they have caused. Didn't take them that long to charge me or lie to me about order status (multiple times and places! My online account, a FB message, AND over the phone all said in stock and ready to ship). If they didn't lie, they sold it out from under me. Either way, very bad business practice and horrible customer service.
I bought a wall oven and I was properly and timely informed of the process. I will definitely order from Goedeker's again in the future.
I ordered a bed frame from Goedekers, when I received the bed the footboard was damaged. I wasnt sure if it was a manufacturer error, or shipping but I notified the company immediately. I talked to Tiffany who was great, she sent me out an email and told me take pictures of the damaged piece. I took the pictures and Tiffany and I talk via email and she informed me the product has been reordered. A day or two later I received another email from someone else stating that I needed to send the broken piece back before the footboard was sent out. I question this because I thought it was already being sent. I had to now wait until the broken piece was picked up and delivered to them before I would get my replacement. This process bothered me and I expressed that in an email to them. I later received the replacement footboard which came to me damaged as well. I had to wait until Monday to contact the company, Monday morning I got in contact with a male working who informed me I contacted the wrong department but asked for my information and assured me that someone would call me back to rectify the situation. I never received a call or email, I called back on Wednesday when I got through they informed me that the customer service agents where busy and they would have someone call me back. I opted to stay on hold because no one called me back the last time so I wait on the phone for over 30 minutes. When I got someone it was Tiffany again who help once again the process from before repeated wait to send the damaged piece back and then they sent the new footboard out which I received and it was not damaged and my daughter loves it. Wished that this process would have been handled better
Good price and good washer. Took about 3-4 weeks to get it but I'm happy with the price and free shipping and no tax.

Received a defective refrigerator months ago and I am still waiting for it to be repaired or replaced
We ordered a dishwasher from Goedeker. On the order page of the website there are two additional charges to the cost of the appliance which are spelled out: an Add Installation charge ($199.99) and a Haul Away Old Appliance charge ($29.99). NOTHING else relating to the dishwasher's installation... We paid for both.
When we called to discuss the installation date, we were told by their Customer Services representative that they will NOT DISCONNECT and pull out the old dishwasher and that we have to get a plumber to do so. The plumbers we called charge $250 to come and do that! Total cost of installation: $250 + $200 + $30!
When we called to protest that NOTHING was mentioned to the effect that the installation did NOT cover the disconnection and pull out of the old dishwasher, we were told we should have clicked on and looked in a drop down at the bottom of the page with a very long text in small letters - and which they KNOW full well nobody will focus on!
They refused to cancel the order. We had found a store selling the dishwasher at about the same price and doing the entire disconnection - installation - removal for $200. Now we have to buy Goedeker's dishwasher and pay $350 to a plumber who will do the same - losing $150! They do not NOT disclose the full truth - that they will NOt disconnect your old dishwasher - at the same place and in the same type as the installation charges. They probably count on the fact that most people give up when faced by the additional expense to avoid further loss of time and effort... We spoke to two service reps, one who was decent and one who was absolutely unsympathetic, ironic, and with an attitude. Last time you see our money, Goedeker!
Small 4.6 Cu fridge arrived with 6 inch hairline scratch. Fridge also had cheap plastic plugs which were impossible to remove and dissolved while trying to pry out when swrichting fridge handle from right to left opening. Contacted Goedecker's same day as delivery day and waited weeks for a response. That response is we haven't forgotten about you yet waiting to hear back from the Manufacturer (SUMMIT Appliance). Finally heard back after a month with a sentence thanking my for my patience and to use a drill bit to remove plastic plugs. Unbelievable! Nothing about Goedecker's was pleasant or positive other than their call center isn't outsourced to Asia. Even if it costs more and doesn't offer free shipping, AVOD THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Pay more and do in store pickup or at least buy from the big box stores as they ALWYAS have a great return policy and customer service is much quicker at getting things resolved. AND NO, THERE IS NO PANDEMIC TO BLAME HERE, JUST INCOMPETENCE AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
