I built a website on GoDaddy and bought a domain from GoDaddy for my business, and start to take payments for my sales from customers, but GoDaddy doesn't allow me to deposit the fund of our sales collected through GoDaddy.Sasha from GoDaddy payment team emailed me and told me they will illegally possess the fund of my sales due to some risk factors, I replied to Sasha and asked her to explain what those risk factors are of releasing the funds to me, we are a legally registered LLC in Florida who paid our tax every year, she didn't reply to me so far. I called the GoDaddy customer service number, Patrick and Susie from the customer service team answered my call after I was held on the line for 1 hour, she told me she doesn't know what those risk factors are when I asked about the risk factors in Sasha's email, we asked Susie who is the right person we should talk to and will help us with this issue, she said NOBODY, she couldn't help in any ways.It is such a shock to know that GoDaddy illegally possesses our fund for no legitimate reasons and their customer service is horrible and don't help solve any problems.I will keep posting the updates publicly on how this incident goes and how they respond to me. Sharing my experience to let more people know how GoDaddy explain why they illegally possess the fund from sales for no reason.
I contracted with Go Daddy to design my website. All they had to do was copy my previous published website. I WAS TOLD NOT A PROBLEM. We can do it all. Now through the drafts and hours on the phone with them. They have come back with a website that does not do what we need, a website that has a different language in spots. They made changes to the final draft that was not approved by me and that changed the whole set up of our online store. When I called to speak with them about it, there was nobody to speak with and answer any of my questions. They were trying to sell me a Marketing package for when I needed help with the website that was suppose to have 24 hour service. If it is 24 hour service HOW COME THERE IS NOBODY TO SPEAK WITH THAT CAN ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. All I am being told is call back tomorrow. So everyone please think twice before buying any of there packages. They just don't seem to care. All they want is your money. They will OVER PROMISE AND UNDER DELIVER. That should be there new slogan. Can anybody give me any suggestions for a new website designer?
So much processes and delays for simple renewal process upon domain expiring with domain email id. No empathy and urgency re the matter.
They Provides best support and prompt response. Highly recommended support. I am very satisfied with Godaddy.

For anyone who is interested, pls hear me out - I switched from Go Daddy to Wix then back to GD again. I have learned an important lesson, and here it is. GD just wasn't getting me the rankings I wanted so I decided to switch and give Wix a try. I was with Wix for 2 years, and once the website really took off, I climbed to the first page of Google in no time, and was able to maintain an average position of between 6 and 14 at any given time, You have to work on your site alot to keep it fresh but I was happy and the calls just poured in. BUT, Wix went up on price to about $260 a year, so I tried switching back to GD which is about half that price. BUT, I screwed up. GD just does NOT have the platforms and options that Wix has in their editing section, and so far I cannot get my ranking above the 3rd page with an average position of 22-39. No matter how hard I try or how much work I put into this site I can't hit above the 2nd page. GD just does not have the "guts" that Wix does nor the options and features to get you where you wanna be, and it is alot harder to use too. So when my year runs out I will be switching back over to Wix because that extra $120 is well worth it in yearly sales (which means I have to create a whole new site from scratch, but I'm getting pretty good at it anyway). No offense to Go Daddy, but save yourself some trouble and use Wix. You will thank me for it

They have great domain prices but the hosting is bad. They need to do something better than what they are doing
Don't register your domain here. When expire they will put on auctions and asking you more money to retake your domain
I called to enquire 4 days ago what services they offer to help me have better SEO results. I spoke to Shivam in India, and he was adamant to unlock my Domain.
So he coerced me into putting my domain into transfer mode to Godaddy. They denied having it at first, even though WHOIS and Google Support confirmed Godaddy had my Domain.
In between denying this there different advisers told me how to delete my GoDaddy account.
Then to now fix it now that they found my domain on their system i had to signup to them.
Meanwhile, now my emails and website dont work as they messed up my setup. So now im daily having to battle with their staff who are not all tech savy as the next one. So the advice i get is irractic.
The funny thing is im not tech savy when it comes to websites, hence my contact to them. As my setup was basic but now im having to learn backoffice technical stuff to fix it.
No complaints process and stringent ressolution services.
I definitely would not recommend Godaddy to anyone!
Paid for my domain and they will not give you the flexibility to transfer your domain to somewhere else. Highly not recommended at all!
Contacted GoDaddy's customer support multiple times over the past three years to request a resolution, with no success - unacceptable customer service, unauthorized account manipulations, and unresolved issues that have caused me significant financial losses, stress for MANY years now
1 - I initially contacted GoDaddy's customer support for assistance, but instead of resolving my concerns, they manipulated my account and subscriptions without my consent. This led to recurring changes and unauthorized charges.
2. Continuous Billing reminder and Stress:
- Despite my repeated efforts to address these issues with GoDaddy over the past three years, the company has failed to provide any resolution. Instead, I have been subjected to constant reminders of billing and additional charges, adding to my stress and dissatisfaction.
3. Wasted Effort and money Loss in my account with GODADDY
- The situation has completely derailed my efforts to establish my website and build my startup. All the time, effort, and money I invested have been wasted, leaving me disheartened and without the foundation I worked hard to create.
- This prolonged ordeal has caused me significant emotional distress and has negatively impacted my health. I have lost all trust in GoDaddy's customer support team due to their mishandling of my concerns and their failure to resolve the situation.
I have Request for Refund and Compensation: NO SOLUTION but NONSTOP email of bills and reminders to renew. JOKER!
Hoping for FTC Assistance
To hold GoDaddy accountable for their actions and ensure that they:
1. Provide a full refund for all charges incurred since the start of my account.
2. Compensate me for the significant losses and emotional distress they have caused.
3. Take steps to prevent such issues from occurring to other customers in the future.
They Can not fulfill my expectation they have huse term and condition that is problem for user. Their customer service is also bad.
I am their client for almost 2 years but every time I need support they are not available fast. I have to wait for a long time.
Answer: Do not use this company. Go daddy excessive fees, will keep adding fees claiming lack of security, and also has a policy that will ask for private information such as passport, license if you ever change your phone number even though they will talk to you on the phone.
