Zach was very friendly and easily explained the whole process as this was our first time having services done. He worked quickly and came back to explain all that he did. He truthfully told us that we had quite a few pests and explained the expectations moving forward with how the service will help with continued applications. Very happy with the service so far.
We signed up about a year and a half ago to try and control a tick issue we were having in our yard.
8 treatments later we still have a tick issue.
I had much better luck using tractor supply livestock spray on my yard at a small fraction of the price...
Called today to cancel their ineffective service, they want $199 as an early cancellation fee.

Wish can give 1/4th star. Never trust the sales team. They bind you to contract, not cancellable. No documentation to read. You will suddenly find a chunk charged to your payment account without and notice. Worse service.
Was very skeptical initially and rightfully so. Have done services for us for several months and have seen zero percent decrease in pests around the house. Also, they put us into a contract that we did not agree to. Technicians are always lazy and are done in less than five minutes. They fail to actually get rid of nests, spider webs, etc. as they advertise. Absolutely do not recommend. If they show up to your door, turn them away.
Impossible to reach. Don't show up when you schedule a service. Leave a residue which they report is safe, but I have found dead birds the day after their service (twice). Provide wrong numbers and emails on their invoices with no explanations. Even after 6 months of complaints. When you hunt down their number, you have to call multiple times before you reach anyone. Horrible cancellation fee. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Beware signing up with Aptive. They stress that you can cancel any time but don't mention the high penalties for doing so. If you are not sure you want to be paying them for 18 months, look for someone else.
Tech arrived on time, explained what he'd be treating, and was super efficient at getting it done. Asked questions and sprayed problem areas to meet those needs. The hard part is waiting the short time to take full effect of our yard, and regain its use after being plagued with mosquitos and wasps. Great job!
I really appreciate how my technician, Darren, remembers our specific requests and gives such excellent service. He is always careful to avoid certain areas that we don't want treated, and he is friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for providing such great service!
Company rep who signed me up was knowledgeable, thorough about service and cost, and great to work with. Techs that showed to complete work were communicative, professional, and very respectful and courteous about entering the home, what my needs were, etc. I have never signed up for pest service, so hoping it feels worth while. Had the inside and outside done. I like that the products are more natural than other companies. No odor after they sprayed inside. Were done in about 30-40 minutes from start to finish.
We live on a lake and have issues annually with nuisance insects, spiders and wasps. Our technician, Anna, is very thorough and has done a great job for us. It's the best it's been for us in 7 years in this home
during this time of year.
Not reliable for one. They don't show up when they say will (that's if the "technician " bothers to text you.
They sprayed in my house and a few days later I found a very alive scorpion! What are they spraying? Water!?

The account managers come and go so the job must really hate their job. And the technicians don't know their bugs so I have little to no confidence in their work.
I'm so done with waiting for them to show up in a 4 hour window, not show up and just think I'll wait around another day for a reschedule...nope! There's a reason the reviews are so low.
I have been a customer for a few years and they show up on time and always make sure to check in just incase more needs to be treated. I recommend them highly.

The techs I've been luck enough to have have been consistently professional and done exemplary work. This time was o different, the tech inquired if there were any problems I wanted attention to, and gave me a complete rundown of the work performed when finished.

The sales guy offers $99 at your door for spraying the house and indeed they do it one time around. They anly allow credit card payment. But then they send a contract that obliges you for 12 months and 4 treatments at $120. Not cancellable. The cancel document has invalid language that is a joke. They send it to my email that I have not given to them and attach a document that I signed electronically even if I did not. Complete scam and forgery of signature.
One of the things you have to do after a service is let the area dry. So - when a technician comes out in the literal pouring rain, you have to wonder if the service really did anything. You figure you'll ask your rep, who emails you often asking you if the service is working (a templated email) and they don't respond. Twice. A phone call to the local office says your rep is not available. I'm actually thinking that rep doesn't exist.
I always felt for the technicians because they would tell me, every time, that if they don't get 5 stars in their review, they get in trouble. That kind of guilt trip really sucks. I should be able to give my rating without thinking it's going to "go against my record".
The only thing that went well recently is being able to cancel my service. That was easy after being on hold, behind 45 other people, for 15 minutes.
Received my second quarter treatment today and well worth the spend, my insect issues, specifically the horrible ant problem we were having, was cut down by at least 80% or more after the ver first treatment!
I've been with Aptive for several years now and am very pleased with the results of your services. All service technicians that have been to my house over the years have been great. One in particular I'd like to recognize is Tom! This guy is outstanding! Always in a good mood, always listens, always provides feedback, always vert thorough and just an all around great guy! We hope to see him again going forward.
I took out this service and they came 1 time and then never returned and charged me $120.00 plus the charge of 1st application, This is a complete Rip off scam! Its only about the Sales and stealing your money!

Answer: My experience was the exact opposite of these. Everyone I've dealt with was very courteous and polite. They arrived on time, did exactly as they promised, and I have absolutely no complaints or reservations about continuing my service with them.
Answer: Yes, they are proactive in protecting honey bees! I had a large bee colony under my shed that I had removed from a bee remover/cultivator company. Aptive treatment actually occurred a few days after their removal and tech informed me that Aptive does not have appropriate licensing for bee removal, therefore they leave that to bee professionals.
