First off the return process is very complicated and I think it's part of their business plan. The 2 pairs of glasses I purchased were terrible. They're made of cheap plastic and do not stay on your head. It was a waste of money and I will be going somewhere else to get a pair that works. I did try and go through their support before writing this review and that was just a waste of time.

Acceptance of United Healthcare Medicare Advantage benefit was a big component. I did also consider Warby Parker, but I liked your site's selection better, including the Maui Jim's frame I selected.
The product met expectations, and so far, it hasn't shown the common issues of these online options (I purchased from another brand, and the protective layers started peeling when I tried to clean the lenses).
The lenses are comfortable and perfect for my prescription. It would be interesting if they offered a discount option for purchasing reading glasses for those who acquire progressive lenses.

I bought two pair of reading glasses and was pleasantly surprised by the great price compared to my optometrist office -- about 1/3 the price. The frames are good quality too. The only reason for providing 4 stars verses 5 is that the lenses, while good, seem to change the focus just a little. I think because I chose the regular lenses verses the upgrade to polycarbonate. In hindsight I wish I would've paid the additional charge for the thinner polycarbonate. Otherwise, very happy with my new glasses... and highly recommend GlassesUSA. Thanks, Jim

I got two pair of glasses, much cheaper than they would have been at my eye dr. the prescription is great. I will have to take both pairs in to be adjusted for fit though, as even though the measurement sizes are the same, one fits tightly and squeezes above my ears and the other is loose and falls off when i lean forward. I know this is adjustable, it's just irritating, and something i don't think can be controlled for in an online order.

First time ordering from GlassesUSA… pros… United States based so order arrived in a little over two weeks and didn't get lost in customs 😳. Customer service so far have been friendly and eager to help. Cons…. I ordered Ray Ban sunglasses with progressive lenses and paid the extra $15 for the added darkness and much to my dismay they showed up with clear blue lenses on them, can't even call them sunglasses. On top of lenses the frame felt very cheap so sent them back, disappointed in a $250 pair of sunglasses.
With notification of my return my phone started ringing the next day with them trying to correct the situation, giving options for refund versus credit with extra. Still remaining undecided but they were good enough to send the offer via email.

The production and delivery of my glasses was a little longer than I expected but I did not fuss over it due to me being out of town during the time of them being made and delivered. I got so many compliments on these glasses, they are exactly what I wanted! They do feel a little cheap but that was my intention to get cheaper frames so that I can have the best lenses within a reasonable budget for me.
GlassesUSA has frames cheaper which means I can spend the big bucks on some higher quality lenses for the frames! Definitely worth the buy!
I ordered from glassesusa because I had a coupon for 30% off, so I took the plunge! They kept me apprised of everything that happened with emails every step of the way. It took a little while, but at least they kept sending me emails as it moved through the steps. I received them about a week after they shipped and they are exactly what I ordered with the right prescription. They were a tiny bit loose, but thats not too big of a worry as they were easy to tighten. Good experience for me overall! No issues.
This is the fourth time I have gotten Glasses from GlassesUSA and I always recommend them. The only issue I had this time was the time it took to receive them. That is the reason for the 4 stars. The glasses are great. I wish the blue blocking was a little cheaper is my only complaint because it makes such a tremendous difference when you are on the computer all day and night.

I was nervous from reading reviews. But price for 2 pairs of glasses was great. Easy upload of prescription, updates via email during production. Took 3 weeks but I got my order with no problems. I personally am very happy. Unsure of why there is so many negative reviews
To my surprise, I was promptly contacted through email and they offered me a more than fair price match refund. I honestly wasn't expecting much to happen but this renews my faith a bit in the company. Although, they did take off the price match policy entirely. Maybe in the future a better policy will be implemented!
Decent selections, but terrible customer service. They told me 2 different scenarios in to which why I couldn't price match. One told me I couldn't after 3 days. Another said I couldn't after quality inspection. None could explain the difference in price matching before quality inspection versus after? Are the materials going to magically change or something? Maybe damaged? Makes absolutely no sense, especially business wise. Their returns are easier than a price match which is ridiculous. Wouldn't the company rather I spend my money with them than fully refunding the item?

The glasses are fine, and they have the right prescription, however, if I had tried them on in person, I probably would not have gotten the pair I did.
There is something to be said for seeing glasses in person. Going forward I'll most likely go to an actual store to get glasses. Nothing against GlassesUSA, it's just hard to tell what they will really look like on your face.
I figured why not try it. I couldn't find anything I liked at the eye doctor and didn't have a lot of time to go looking around at different stores.
Wasn't sure how this would go but I am very happy with my new glasses as fraction of what they cost at the doctor. Great fit and finish. Took slightly longer than I thought but was worth the wait.

Very easy to select the glasses I wanted and apply a prescription to them.
The glasses took some time to produce & arrived, as expected and seem to be good quality. Time will tell.
The one irritating aspect of this was I received (& continue to receive) an avalanche of promo codes to use as I was considering my order. Few of them worked and I just found that irritating.
Apart from that, a good experience 7 I will likely use them again.

I needed curved glasses to fit under ski goggles on short notice for a trip. They arrived in time and worked great. My vision was clear, and the frames appear to be robust. On the mildly negative side, I had 2 gripes: 1) Despite being asked for my frame measurements, it was not crystal clear to a first-time customer that there are only small/medium/large frame sizes offered. A medium size was suggested, but in my judgement the dimensions of the small frame were a better match and this is what I ordered. 2) The total turn time was vague. Estimated shipping times were provided, but not the in-house processing time before shipment. I was thus not sure if my glasses would arrive in time.

I received my glasses but they took a lot longer than promised. This has been my experience with the last few pairs I bought. Instead of 7-10 business days it's taking minimum 3 weeks.

I looked online and found USA glasses. Was skeptical because of the price being so high, but once the came I could see the quality. Didn't take much time to input my prescription. Worked out really well and I'm looking forward to using my new prescription swim goggles this summer.

I opted for the "store credit" option and found the right glasses and sunglasses on the second try. I'm not sure what to do about my leftover credit balance, though. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses from glassesusa and had no problem. The past 2 have been issues. Not on time. So paying for quick shipping is not worth it. They say 72 hours after leaving production I will receive them. Ordered on December 17 and still not here. Can't reach a person to speak with only automated on internet. Very displeased with no contact. I loved the past 2 pairs I ordered. But received one recently. Script was not right. Now waiting on second pair. Very frustrated cause this has happened twice on shipping

I damaged the first pair I got and only wanted to order a replacement - no changes to style, type of glasses, prescription, etc... it was very difficult to do as it made me run through the entire order process, which I thought was unnecessary since I had already provided all the info needed with my first order.

I am finding it difficult to shop online for glasses. The color does not come across accurate on the website. The glasses are well made and the prescription is correct. The return process is difficult if you have to return a second time. They give you a new order number when you reorder, but don't show you that number on the website. I had a very hard time being able to chat with a live rep, I never was able to actually talk to someone on the phone. Once I received the second order number I could return the second pair.
I tried to have a phone conversation with someone and was never able to do that. It was also very difficult to get to an actual rep when chatting. The automated bot would not pass me along until I asked 3 times to speak to a rep.
My husband got glasses and was very pleased, and they accept our vision insurance.
The process was pretty simple after you do it once.
My only gripe was not GlassesUSA's fault, I believe that my provider mis-tested me, because the bifocal part is a bit strong.
My issue with glasses.com was, it was 20 days from the time of order to the time that I got it. When I went in to find a customer service link, all I got was automated menus that shuffled me from one menu to the next. I wanted to speak to a human being, but for the life of me could not find a phone number to do that. Please advise if there is one.
All I wanted to know was, where are my glasses being made, is it an American product, and I got vague answers saying, "we operate globally…" Considering they were made in Georgia, or shipped from there anyway, it doesn't make sense to me that it took 20 calendar days. Much of that was shipping, however so I'm not blaming G USA necessarily
I ordered another pair and ordered express shipping and paid the $12.95. Hopefully they will do better this time.
As I said, I was shuffled from menu to menu as I attempted to find an 800 number or something. Perhaps I missed it, but it was way too complicated, and I finally gave up. And the answers I got from those automated functions were very vague. I don’t know what I would do if there was a problem that I needed to talk to somebody about. I’m hoping that doesn’t happen. I like the website and the prices are good!
