Ordered a pair of sunglasses with prescription lenses that I'm very happy with. The website was full of options, with filters that helped to narrow my choices down to the point where I selected a great pair of Maui Jim's. The process was not difficult at all. My only complaint was that the promotional messages that followed all offered discounts, none of which applied to my eventual purchase.

First off the return process is very complicated and I think it's part of their business plan. The 2 pairs of glasses I purchased were terrible. They're made of cheap plastic and do not stay on your head. It was a waste of money and I will be going somewhere else to get a pair that works. I did try and go through their support before writing this review and that was just a waste of time.

Ordered glasses for a disabled family member; status indicated that it was stuck in production after 10 days. Contacted their customer service reps after struggling with their annoying AI bot interface each week for the next 3 weeks. Could not get anyone on the phone. Was promised action, acceleration and delivery via text each time. All lies. Canceled the order after waiting a month and receiving nothing. Spend your money elsewhere. This company is a clown car.

Tip for consumers:
Their AI-bot customer service interface is only of limited utility. Customers should have the option to talk to a live agent when the AI-bot fails. Current system requires a persistent, non-obvious approach for the AI to hand off to a human, but only by text. Pick up the damn phone.

Glasses showed up broken. I tried to start a chat, cant talk to a real person. So I called went through the whole thing got to the end they asked if I wanted a refund I said yes then they offered me 110% credit for another pair of glasses so I chose that option. Said I would receive an email with instructions on how to redeem. It's been 3 working days no email no nothing. You cannot talk to a real person everything is automated. My glasses showed up BROKE. $367.00 and they have yet to do ANYTHING about it. Disgusted about the situation. Will never order again.

Everything is automated. No real person. Said I would get credit and email on how to redeem. Spent 367.00 for broken glasses upon arrival.

I ordered my prescription lenses on Feb 2nd to which I was super excited, seeing they guarantee a timely delivery (didn't want to wait on target's 10 day shipping) but now it's been forever and I'm struggling here using an old pair of glasses since the last pair I had broke. Can't get ahold of anyone. The virtual chat is robotic. If you call their number, they send your issue to a text, where it says to email them. Their email says to click here to check on your order or to email them...email you from your email? Sounds legit 👌 🙄
They send you in a viscous circle. Was a huge waste of time. I'll be disputing with my bank.

Dealing with Glassesusa.com was a very frustrating experience. They sent me the wrong glasses, would not accept a return and have no human you can speak with.

Their customer service representatives are nothing more than chat bots who repeat the same question if the bot does not understand your response.

I ordered a pair of prescription eye glasses and sun glasses. I also paid for expedited shipping.I received an email stating my order has been shipped. It is December 8 and I still have yet to receive my order nor can I track my order. When I try to contact customer service all that is available is an AI robot via chat that repeats the same info. Save your money and go else where. This place is a scam!

The glasses I ordered were too big and the color was much darker than I expected. When I tried to return them for refund it was denied. I ordered another pair but I wanted the credit for the return to be applied before was charged again. I called the number to discuss this but not able to talk to anyone. Very confusing. It seemed simple. But I requested a return the same day they finally delivered. What will happen now?

I haven't been able to speak to anyone yet. When I called the number referenced it kept sending me back to the same return page. That's it. I never had an option to discuss this further.

It's been a month now since they received the sunglasses back from me and I'm still waiting for my refund. There is no one you can talk to, you have to go through their Chat system. Every time I contact them, they say they will expedite my refund but nothing ever happens, and I'm still waiting! Terrible! You should not have to wait that long for a refund!

I ordered 2 pair of glasses. One pair of reading glasses, one pair of sunglasses for golf. They are the magnetic kind that wraps around your head with a magnet between the lenses. Received the reading glasses 1st. No case, no cleaning cloth. Wore for about 2 wks. They broke where the rubber meets the side bar. Spent a couple hours between phone calls and emails and finally got them replaced. In the meantime I received the sunglasses. This time with a case and cleaning cloth. I set them aside for the upcoming golf season. Just started wearing them and they broke just like the other pair in the exact same place. Again spent a couple hours with customer service chat and emails. They will not replace them. They will only offer for me to purchase ANOTHER PAIR AT FULL PRICE and an expensive warranty in case it happens again. Very poor customer service. Terrible product. I do not recommend this company or their products at all.

I purchased a pair of prescription Gucci glasses on the 9th and production is 6 days, 12 days in no glasses still and they haven't shipped and when I asked what's the hold up they state its production. I ask for compensation I get " were doing all that we can" I ask for a refund and they hung up on me, if I stayed in NY I would be@ there front door... trash $#*! service

They do not update you about your order and when you ask they just say the same thing over and over again like a script. It takes 3-5 business days to make your glasses. It's been 7 business days and I paid extra for faster shipping. Do not use if you need new glasses in a week. Prepare for 2-3 weeks

I am not a complainer. This company has a great website, good ordering system and collects money well. What they don't do is honor production and shipping times. If you are in a hurry, forget it. I am sure that a Glasses USA rep will have a very well written response and offer to speak with me.

End of the day though - is that this company is not reliable. If you can handle that unpredictability then this is your company.

Submitted information and prescription and these morons did everything they could to not send me lenses. Asked for the eye doctors name and fax number, which I sent. Then asked for it again so I followed up with a screen shot of the ACTUAL PRESCRIPTION. They still denied having the information. Avoid these clowns! They're full of crap!

Sent a prescription for "acuvue oasys" and "daily wear"
The monkeys that work for their customer support insist that "acuvue oasys" means "2 weeks" whereas the brand for daily wear is "acuvue oasys 1 day"
I've tried explaining maybe 10 times that "acuvue oasys" is a brand. Just like "fresh look" or "acuvue moist" or "rayban" or "Nike" for that matter.
Still nada.
Just for you to see how Third World their customer service is, they sent me a link to my "frame" (acuvue oasys contact lenses).
No call back from supervisor.
Don't recommend using this website whatsoever and also it seems most 5 star reviews are from one time users so probably fake

I've ordered glasses online before with no problem years ago. Not with this company. They SUCK. I ordered a pair 2 weeks ago and still no word. Their time line is false advertisement. Misrepresentation of timelines. They take your money and leave you hanging in the wind. When I emailed them asking what the ACTUAL status of my glasses were they emailed me back a canned message telling me their bogus timeline. I wish I would've looked at reviews other than on their website. It's absolutely ridiculous. I wish I would've just ordered from the website I used years ago UGH

After showing no update in tracking information on DHL's website for more than a week, I contacted GlassesUSA. After asking whether the glasses were actually delivered to DHL, they could not answer that question. After spending more than 20 minutes on the phone, the customer service representative, Mia Johnson, hung up on me when I pressed the issue. I called back and spoke to a Laura Foster, she said she had absolutely no notes of record regarding my previous call. Laura also provided me the same "canned" responses. Her supervisor, Peter Rogers, was unable to provide any sort of remedy to my frustration after being hung up on, so I will be cancelling my order and I won't shop here again. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I placed a order for 2 boxes of 24 contact lenses ( Over $200) on January 18,2022. I did NOT receive both boxes although I was billed for them. I have been given the run around for the last couple of weeks. I consider it FRAUD to bill customers and never provide the merchandise. It's just been A LOT of stalling after having my money.There is NO actual telephone as advertised on website. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well. My husband has used this site twice and both times something was wrong. The first time the prescriptions lenses in the glasses were incorrect so he couldn't wear them and they refused the return. This time we bought the same frame of glasses that he has now which is the 6335 raybans and received them with missing/broken nose pieces that weren't even in the glasses case or packaging so they were not there when they were packaged and sent out. The small brackets that hold the nose pieces and completely broken. There is glue on the lenses and where the brackets should be so someone obviously tried to fix their mistake. We contacted customer service (after searching for the customer service number that was actual person) and they couldn't even try to get us 1 to 2 day shipping or compensate in any way to correct their error. Instead my husband has to go without his glasses for another good 10 to 12 business days because of their mistake and poor quality control. We will never use this site again.

I got my prescription sunglasses early January and thought that they'd work fine so I stuck them in a drawer. Being January in Michigan you don't need sunglasses much at the moment. It was sunny one day last week so I put them on and they made me nauseous- something is wrong so I wrote customer service and asked if they could help and they flat out said it's been past the 14 day period. Seems pretty harsh for expensive glasses that I'll never be able to wear. We are still in the same 30 day period not a year later. Wasn't asking for a refund just a remedy so that I can wear them. Would not recommend.

I have an open order & a return that nobody's doing anything about. Over 2 weeks now, never respond to any inquiries about my issues. The return is for scratching on their anti-scratch lens, for which I purchased 2 year protection.

Tip for consumers:
Glasses are less expensive anywhere else. Everything glasses USA does takes forever!
