To be honest, it was my first time sending parcels online. I really didn't thought twice and just made a payment. Later I was exploring the website and came across so much negative reviews. I got tensed and treated the customer representatives very rude. But than, my delivery was on time and everything was amazing!
I ordered 2 gifts for my girlfriend in the Philippines. The items did get there but there was no confirmation email. The customer service is non existent. The site isn't well designed. I'm looking for an alternative site to use.
My gift orders should be delivered on December 30, but it did not. I spent about half on night on December 31 trying to communicate to this company and not successful due to provided phones were "not in service", no live support was available and I was redirected to virtual agent, virtual agent states that no such orders exists. Skype requested payment for message or call, Messagers and FB redirected to virtual agents. I placed complaint on FB, but it was removed in 2 hrs and I placed another one later. Finally, my orders were delivered. God Bless Bella. She did it by New Year! She made happy my grandson! She did awesome! Her rate is 5, but company rate is 0 (too much stress). I understand it's holiday time and maybe delays, but the clients should be notified and customer service available with live agents on website and on the phone. Thanks Bella for finding fruits replacement and delivering the gifts, she made my New Year's Eve!
Just recently made an order to Giftnideas without any idea how their system works. Since it was first time after completing my transaction I go to the Internet and find some reviews about the company and believe it or not I was blown away to all negative comments. There was a minimal mistake but its not a big deal because it was my first time as I said. Thing was, I am really satisfied about their service, they answer the query as fast as they could and my wife really loved my gift. The flower arrangement were so good even they send it via courier the freshness is still there. I am more than happy than anyone else when my wife showed her photo with my surprise gift. Well done Giftnideas its all "Worth It"...
I don't know why there are so many bad reviews about giftsnideas. I ordered a cake for delivery to Vienna, Austria and the cake was delivered on the actual date I wanted it to be delivered. The cake didn't look exactly like the photo but it looked good just the same.
Had I looked at the reviews before I ordered, I would not have placed my order. I just want to give credit when credit is due.
I hope my review will help pull their rating up.
I cannot understand why so many people wrote so bad reviews here. I am a Korean econ Ph. D. student of one of the Ivy League universities and my wife is in Korea. I made an order to send gifts to my wife and she got "what I ordered." This was very satisfactory experience. The flowers were beautiful and the teddy bear was cute. I also ordered some chololates but naturally I do not know the flavor. I believe that my wife will like it. I will use the service of Giftsnideas again. Thank you for your service, Giftsnideas.
A total scam site, scam business. Sent a hamper to my client worth 150 dollars and they received something completely different and cheap, worth approximately 20 dollars. It took 7 days to verify after a lot of pushing that it was a bad delivery. The occasion already passed. What a disgrace. Never Ever Order from this site.

And here is what was delivered. Looks $#*!, the contents chocolates were replaced with some cheap chocolates and box covered with $#*! plastic bag. They charged for same delivery and delivery was not made till late next day and when delivered after several follow ups this?
Scammers. Asked for uploading my ID photos after charging me for a gift and the same day delivery. They don't answer calls. You have to chat to bot on their website. Then someone with heavy indian accent called me and told me if I dont provide my ID photos, they will not deliver the order. I opened a dispute this those scammers and cancelled credit card. Will keep you posted.
Item never arrived as per promised. Very bad impression for a first time customer like me. Will never buy it from this website again. U can have the things back and don't need any refund. Trash it to the dustbin, please. No professional.

I placed an order worth 1700. Firstly the bouquet reached 3 days later. Secondly what they sent was hardly worth 500. Thirdly the message written on it had spelling mistakes ( i mean a 4th grader would write better). Refund they gave me should have been 60% cause the product was way below the mark and delayed rather they gave me just 30%. What kind of sham is this gifts and ideas running!? Worst experience ever.
Terrible! Gift was ordered 3 weeks ago with 1-3 days delivery confirmed. It still hasn't arrived. PLEASE avoid these guys. They crate nothing but headaches. And I agree - their customer service reps are TOTALLY incompetent! Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Spent $92 on Christmas gift which was never delivered. They haven't replied to my mails, calls. I contacted the better business bureau and they didn't respond to them either. Stay Away!

Disappointing service! My order was cancelled on the date of delivery and even after 3 weeks, my refund has not been processed. There was also minimal and lag responses to emails sent.
STAY AWAY from this website!
Wondering if they are under the jurisdiction of the retail ombudsman - formal complaint in process. Order not delivered, given multiple, conflicting excuses and then a number of automatic replies. The company is clearly profiting on non delivery. They are also still advertising their page on Facebook, am trying to get them taken down. If anyone has any idea who they are regulated under or what the correct forum is to tackle this it would be really helpful.
Like the others below my experience is much the same. Quick to take your order and process the payment. Ordered cake and bubbly to be delivered to Holland for my Son's 21st. Still not arrived. Stuck on the Chat line and although initially answered when told them my issue - nothing. Even though I've also spoken to the guy who is the name on the chat line apparently! James Ladd, clearly flustered when I called and wanted to put me on hold, I'm calling from the UK, I don't think so! Asked him to keep in touch on chat line whist he said he was going to check details... nothing. Thieving Gits!
Now to call the fraud Dept of my Bank...

Same old lies about speaking with their 'local partner' to find out why they haven't delivered. By speaking with UPS it transpires the retailer (giftsnideas.com) voided the UPS order prior to collection.

I ordered the deluxe sweet tooth hamper for delivery to my partner in Italy, a 200 basket. What was delivered was a plant with some packets of biscuits and chocolates from the supermarket and the reason I ordered was for the jam and they didn't even include. My Partner was so disappointed asking why I would waste money to send this. It did more harm than good. DO NOT USE!
As other reviews have said, do not use this company. Waste of time! Awful customer service, did not respond to my query at all. Just glad I didn't get charged anything. Wish I'd read the reviews first before wasting my time.
