The item delivered is completely different to the item I ordered. Though I paid for express delivery and it was guaranteed that the delivery would be on the same day, the item got delivered 2 days later.
I ordered a teddy and chocolates combo. Both the items were substituted. I am not sure why they even provided the items in the display if they had no stock of them.
I don't think they are worth even 1 star.
Stay away from this mob. Made the mistake of not looking up reviews before placing an order. They asked me to send them scans of the credit card used (front and back) and further proof of ID. This is clearly an attempt for identity theft.
Do not fall for this bunch of scam artists.
My sister finally got my order for her birthday, but I am very disappointed and very dissatisfied of the product because it was not the same as it was shown in the picture as I ordered. The boxes were not golden except they were cheap white boxes. It was not worth what I paid for. The boxes looks very cheap as well as the ribbon. If the boxes were cheap I'm pretty sure the Gourmet items where as cheap as the white boxes. I have already attempted to resolve this problem by contacting "Giftsnideas" several times via e-text in Facebook and e-mails and phone calls but no response. I already asked my Paypal account to look into my complain so I can get a refund for it was significantly not as described. If I can only rate zero star, but it will only accept 1 star. BUYER BEWARE! Reviews from people like us are very helpful.
Total disappointment. Sent my mum (overseas) a bear with some roses for her birthday. What was delivered was nothing like the picture on their website and mum said the teddy looked worn; like it had been sitting in a shop window for a long time.
I never heard back when I sent an email of complaint... UNTIL I put a post on their facebook page. Then they promised to either send another gift or refund my money within 48 hours. Well it's now over 5 weeks later and neither has happened. Last night I tried a LiveChat session with them. Yesterday i placed 2 orders and today these guys tell me to send them a scanned copy of my ID and my credit card because of some verification nonsense... wtf???? Payment has already been charged from the bank account. Should've checked reviews before... $#*!.
So a day after the order was scheduled to be delivered, I finally got a call from their customers service agent Mr. Ali aka. Alistar, not because of my numerous attempts to get in touch with them, but because of my review posted on sitejabber. He mentioned that the package was not delivered due to issues with their delivery agent and promised to deliver the package the next day. Also, he had requested that I amend/edit my review which I agreed on the condition that the package be delivered the next day as promised. 4 days on and as of writing this post, still nothing has been delivered, no proof of delivery and no response with regards my request for a refund. GiftsnIdeas is clearly a scam and I urge other customers facing the same issue to report this service provider to the relevant authorities so that they are investigated and blocked. I will be taking the time to report them to the FTC so that other people do not go through the same ordeal as I have. This has been the worst experience dealing with any online service provider and please stay clear of this vendor.
Placed an order well in advance however the package was never delivered to the recipient. Tried getting in touch with their customer service on several occasions, but never got a response from them. They literally got the money and disappeared like common crooks. Buyer beware.
I placed on order with them. They sent me an email that my credit card was rejected. Now that is interesting because that has never happened before. Let's assume for a moment that it could have happened. I called the on their US number. It goes to voicemail. Doesn't the website say that they have 24 x 7 support. Any ways, I start a live chat and get to this person called Sarah Brown. I ask her question but there are no replies from the other end. The first time the rep ended the chat, and the next time no one bothered to reply.
Here is what I am worried about after this experience. Is my or my credit card information under any chance of identify theft with these guys?
Worst service ever! I ordered an anniversary gift over a week ago&get informed on the day of delivery that it won't arrive on time! My fiancé is in the US and I'm in SA... what a disappointment as now he won't receive anything! Don't bother using them - no consideration for the customer at all. Pathetic service!
We placed an order for a "Fit for a King" fruit gift basket to be delivered in Jeddah.
We needed the very best basket and chose one of the most expensive available on the website, and assumed the basket would be the same/similar to the picture shown.
Unfortunately, when it arrived arrived, it was absolutely not what we ordered! There was barely any fruit, and extremely disappointing as this was an important gift for a special person. As you can see from the side by side pictures of what was offered and what they got, this is a disgrace and an embarrassment to us!
I ordered what appeared to be a cute chocolate flower gift basket. What arrived was awful and probably only cost 4 dollars to put together, far from the $140 I paid because this was an international delivery. I have attached a photo. Whatever you do stay away. They took the money out of my bank then e mailed stating they need scans of the card, I tried to call all the numbers it went to the same place someone would pick up the phone and set it down never saying anything then hang up on me I bet my aunt gets her birthday gift,,,,, not
I ordered cake 1 week before my parents wedding anniversary. The cake should have been delivered on the 18th April but no cake until now! The online chat is automated. I wanted refund but the online chat never answered me properly. My sister in US called several times to the number mentioned on their site but they just kept you hoping that delivery is on the way and that give them some more time. The site offers you a variety of cakes to choose from and ratings but do not believe! They are cheaters! Overall rating is 0 star.

Used the live chat on 17/2 and was advised I would be contacted the next day with an update. Did not get this response. 19/2 still no delivery and used the live chat function. Advised they need to contact the local partners (what have they been doing for the last 2 days) and I will get a reply within 12 hours... lets see what happens!

I used giftsnideas to send a gift, made the order and set a deliver date. 2 days later it was not delivered and still has not been delivered. From the live chat and help line all i get is"we apologze and understand, please wait 24 hours"

Horrible experience. Please don't use it the website shows pictures that are so beautiful but in reality when the gift is received it looks nothing like the picture I had ordered a big fluffy bear with bonbon chocolates and the customer service got back to me saying that the chocolates are not available so I told them It's fine just deliver it with a substitute as soon as possible because they had anyway delayed my order by one day because of their security checks. When the package was delivered the bear looked nothing like the picture it was one of those cheap white bears that you find from the dollar store that says I love you with a Red Heart. I paid 90$ for all that inconvenience and the product didn't even turn out to be the same. Please if you don't want to waste you money avoid using this website. I know I won't ever be using it.
We used this service in early December to send a $150 gift basket to our staff overseas, over 15 emails later and the hamper was finally delivered to the office (Mall of Asia - not hard to find) - the hamper that arrived in no way resembled the one ordered, content, quality and presentation all bad.

I bought a basket of chocolates for slightly over 70$ to be delivered in China. The itinerary was supposed to include mostly Cadbury & Hersheys chocolates. Unfortunately absolutely none of these items or items the mentioned were there. The packaging also looked completely different. The personalised message was a fragment of two sentences.
The man delivering the goods seemed intoxicated, was quite rude and didn't know to find a common landmark in a popular region. Quite disappointed with the overall experience and wouldn't recommend anyone to spend such a large sum of money for a poorly delivered promise.
