I ordered this basket with swiss chocolates, Toblerone and kisses along with fresh fruits. But the basket delivered contained local chocolates and none of those mentioned. Fruits were less than one fourth of promised in quantity and were mostly rotten.

They charged my credit card and never delivered the gift. I have tried to contact customer service and they only answer with standarized sentences. I have been asking for a refund for more than a month. Giftsnideas, basically, are thieves and they don´t care about customers.

They say that they will deliver a bottle of vodka to Saudi Arabia.
When I asked their chat support rep, how they can deliver alcohol in saudi, the disconnected... this happened bat 3 times...
They are fake and will scam you.
BTW, alcohol is illegal in Saudi... wonder how they claim that they will deliver alcohol to saudi!

DO NOT order from this company. Gift Baskets came totally different than promised. Poor quality foods and fruits. Fruits came almost rotten. I ordered 2 gift baskets from this company to Switzerland and made a fool of my self.

My gift didnt delivered

I ordered a gift (Birthday Cake) to Germany five days before. While placing the order it was mentioned the gift will be delivered between the time 10 AM to 7 PM.

But the deliver time 7 Pm never arrived.

Coming to the online chat and customer support.
The only way to track the delivery status is through live chat.
The online Chat, no responses/ information/
Always one answer we need to check with Supplier. No supplier information/ delivery time stamp.

As my experience, my suggestion is, please dont order from this Site. Giftsn idea.

I specifically ordered from this site as it offered next-day hand delivery (Paris) and the point of the gift was to thank coworkers who had stayed late to do a cross-continent meeting the night before (on late notice, no less). I ordered on a Tuesday with a delivery date of Wednesday. On SATURDAY I got two identical emails, about an hour apart, stating: "We regret to inform you that we just heard back from our concerned team that all the items in your selected product are not available and they can replace with the below substitutions:..."
I ordered ONE item, so if it was not available it shouldn't have been shown as an option on the site. But more importantly, why was this brought up DAYS after the listed delivery date? I asked for an immediate refund. Horrible business.

I tried to purchase a gift basket for my mother despite the higher price for what it was. I put my card information but I received a call saying that I need to take a picture of my credit card and my drivers license card and send it or they will cancel my order. I received 5 calls at 11 PM when I just wanted to go to bed. They kept calling over and over.

This site is a fraud, I used them in April for a gift no problem the first time. This second time i wanted a 25th Wedding Anniversary Gift filled in the form paid for it. They sent me an e-mail saying it had been delivered but it had not. This is how they suck you in 1st order go's well then all down hill on the second. Do Not Use This Site.

I used my bank debit card to pay for my item that I purchased from Gifts n Ideas. My bank just credited my account for the item that I never received but was charged by the fraudulent company. I now just received an email from Gifts n Ideas wanting me to help them out by disputing the charge back withdrawing the charge since my bank is investigating the incident. I can't believe this company has the audacity to still try and rip me off!

Ordered a bday cake and flowers a week in advance. Chased them for 3 days to make sure order will be delivered on time. Order was not even delivered. More than the money, these people are playing with people's emotions on a special day. This is worst sort of fraud and these are the worst people. Filed a complaint to Consumer Buerau and other government and private agencies.

In process of filing a civil suit against them as well.

Biggest scam

They take your money, say they can deliver, then dont. They didnt deliver until I called VISA to fight them and then they sent a bunch of store bought cookies to my son for his birthday(3 days late). Nothing like the picture or what I paid for. Unethical company and they dont care

Very bad company

I ordered a box of chocolate for my brother's birthday, it arrived 10 days after birthday! And had 2 boxes of crackers and biscuits! Not valued even 10 dolors. I am very upset and will definite; y sue them

This is the worst site iv seen so far. They dont supply the gifts as per ur demand, they deliver the wrong gifts, n the worst part is the live chat available which is a ultimate crap. The reps there provide info as they like, thers no uniformity in the info provided by them. They never respond ur mails, they never attend ur calls., i would never recommend this site for anyone. Worst s not the word!

I ordered Lovely cake (# *******) for my brother's 50th B'day. On the day of delivery I got a call and said can't send the cake as it is not available and they can send flowers. As no option available, I asked them to suggest something with more value to compensate the their fault. Then they send me a picture of a flower pot and a nice box of chocolates which said to be cost more than the cake. Finally my brother got flowers (not as good as they promised) and just 125g Lindt chocolate pack. Never go for this people..

I have ordered a gift basket and I am still waiting for it. I managed to get them on the phone since live chat never works, and have spoken to Arnold. He left me on the phone for 10 minutes and then an answer machine started! I definetely want my money back for something I have paid for and still waiting! Terrible customer service, will never recommend.

They have a poor customer service and when you contact them, every time a new person come out and you have to tell the story from the beginning.
At least three times over the period of two years they couldn't finish the deal. In Dubai just simply they told me sorry, after a long time they refund me however no bonus or compensation made. It was my friend's birthday and I was embarrassed. They didn't do any thing.
In the BC-Vancouver they have a big delay for the birth day gift and my friend received after the time.
In Montreal two time they changed their offers. The first time they offered the free shipping, then they said that their vendor has changed his idea and I have to pay for it.
Recently they changed my order and sent any thing else to Montreal and still I don't know about the quality and the price. Simple they said, we don't have this offer that you paid for, we have another one! Poor quality service!
