Simple on line site. Good value for a good hotel. Simple on line service.
Good value for a good hotel
The hotel does not have my reservation on file and it worries me I will have no wheres to sleep. How do I make sure this goes through? The money came from my account so I would like to know the reservation is in tact thank you
Best price out of all sites that I checked! Easy to book. So far so good! I will be checking soon for an upcoming trip to Ireland!
We were able to find the accommodations in the area we wanted at a price we were very happy with. We would use the site again the next time we are looking to go on vacation.
Only after booking did I realize how high the service fees were. I went elsewhere got a higher price but even with taxes teh final price was lower.
Great rates for rooms, even during the holiday weekend. Even offered discounts to California residents.
I thought I was on the hotel site (deception) I didn't know until I received the confirmation from this place that I actually had been had. I had paid a higher price to have rates I could cancel. When I went back to cancel they told me sure but I was being charged the full fare. This was 20 minutes later mind you. Regardless they would not even listen. It's a boiler room when you call, hundreds of voices in the background the agent just kept reciting the same words over and over. Fake reviews - do not use the service and be careful when booking you think you are on the hotel site.
The bed was comfortable, the room was a good size and had basic things -- refrigerator and coffee machine. It was clean and comfortable but nothing fancy.
The location was great and very clean. Breakfast was very good as well. Had everything I wanted and the fruit was amazing. Plenty of bars and restaurants near by.
Easy to book a room without too many steps. Didn't want to add much more to this post just the bare necessities
I was very happy with my get a room experience but Im not happy that it is impossible to submit a review under 100 words.
It's not nice to hear from a hotel manager, " you can try other hotel if you can't find the room you paid for".
Made reservations at hotel for one night when our plane arrived and for another night when we had an early departure a week later. I was given one information number and told both nights were reserved. Upon checking since I had only one confirmation number, I found the reservation for our departure date only even though the charge went through for the arrival date. Called and had to start the process again for the arrival date. So I was frustrated, but ultimately the issue was resolved. Would I use this service again? Probably would.
Finding and booking a stay was very simple. The ratings and pricing were readily available. I was able to find a hotel in the are of my preference.
I was not pleased with the experience. I only wanted to change my dates for my stay at the hotel in Munich. I didn't want to cancel. However, I was not given any options. I contacted the hotel directly, and they said they would be willing to help but since it was done through a third party, I had to deal with them. What's the use of going through a third party if they can't even help.
I booked a room on this site for $794, arrived at the hotel Embassy Suites and was told my credit card didn't process, so they charged me for my stay at $608. When I received my credit card statement, I saw that I had been charged for both bills. I called book a room and after 25 minutes, I was told that the supervisor was not available and to call back tomorrow. I told them I would dispute it. Disputed it with my credit card company, then on my next statement I saw the hotel refunded the $608 and I was charged back the $794. USE THE HOTEL SITES, THIS SITE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME.
Getaroom was an easy booking process and great price on hotels! I would use again or reccomended to a friend.
First i reserved a room with a double bed i actually chosed that option and paid more for it but getarrom email still shows double or twin making the owner have a reason too say it's is choice, and they try to give us two single beds after an argument with the owner that told me he makes the laws here, he ended up giving us a double bed, then i was in the bed talking to my wife naked when a guy opens the door immediately after knocking catching us naked, pervert pricks, avoid like the plague
Answer: They are not ethical. For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.
Answer: I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.
Answer: Call 800-468-3578 but good luck. They are scammers
Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
