THE REP I SPOKE TO SOUNDED LIKE HE WAS COMPLETLEY WASTED, COULD NOT GET INSURANCE FOR A NEW CAR BECAUSE REP WAS HIGH OR DRUNK
I wouldn't recommend them to the devil ( well yeah, I SURE WOULD)they are the worst ever! I've been on the phone for hours trying to get roadside assistance. I am not getting any roadside because they will not send anyone unless I come up with around $1000 to pay for it! All I need is a tire and they could not even do that for me. I would recommend them for nothing! It's like paying someone just to piss you off ITS BEEN 3 HOURS! THEYRE NOT SCENDING ANY HELP! THANKS FOR LEAVING ME STRANDED! WITH MY GRANDCHILD IN THE HOSPITAL AND NO WAY TO GO! I HAD TO GIVE THEM 1 star or they would submit my complaint! 1STAR 2MANY! 0 stars is what they r
They just don't want to work you the I called to speak to someone I was waiting for a long time to get connected and then when I get through, I asked a question and the didn't even try to explain or help I felt like I was rushed off the phone
I am a GEICO Customer who purchased a Defensive Driving Course with IMPROV.
Every time I attempted to login to IMPROV's Defensive Driving Course, their system would not recognize my email address! I used their Help Desk link, which was sent to me, to log in! Today I cannot login at all because the HELP desk has not provided a HUMAN for me to correspond with after approximately one hour! This is unacceptable help!
I would definitely not recommend Geico to anyone seeking recommendations for auto insurance. After spending an exorbitant amount of time on the phone with customer service, and being reassured by two different agents that my claim was fully covered, and the auto body shop having my husband's car for nearly a week waiting to begin the work, Geico at the very last second informed me that my claim wouldn't be covered. We've wasted so much time with the car sitting at the shop and so much time going back and forth with them on the phone, and they've been nothing short of a nightmare. I'm not sure what kind of business can get away with telling a customer TWICE that something is covered and then just randomly backing out at the last second but it's certainly not one that I'll continue giving my money to. Now I have the pleasure of spending the day searching for new auto insurance because this isn't a matter of policy, it's a matter of failing to deliver on a promise that was made by TWO different employees and a "manager" stepping in and reneging at the last second. This company is unreliable and dishonest, AT BEST.
Never ever again deal with this company omg they are Nightmare, someone from geico hit my car. It's been 2 months. They don't want to pay me. Then I find out they do all this to not give me rental car
They may be cheap. There's a reason for that. They won't pay for your damages. Will fight you tooth and nails
Truck in front of me today lost part of their load now I have 5 holes in my windshield, I got the idiots plate number but the guy wouldn't stop I followed him for over 5 miles couldn't get him to stop so I filed a police report and called geico, and the rude lady on the phone said I don't have glass coverage, I said I am not the one that caused the damage she said she don't care, so I guess I'm going to load my truck up with rocks and leave the gate down since the insurance don't pay for that type of thing I can just go out tearing up other peoples windshields and its not my fault, I thought someone else causes damage to my vehicle and the other peoples insurance pays for that but not according to the lady I talked to from Geico, needless to say Im switching to another company before I drive my truck through the geico office I still don't think the idiot I was talking to on the phone knew I was trying to claim on the other peoples insurance and you would think she could do that with just a plate number... I mean I googled it and got the guys address type of truck and everything, I might just to go his house tonight make his windshield match mine
I have 2 vehicles with Geico. I had 4 at one point and will cancel the remaining two in the next two months. Every time I try to interact with this firm I get uninformed kids online, all who are trained to smile and deliver nothing.
Every time I checked online, they failed to provide what I've asked for. TWICE over the past 3 months I found gaps in the coverage leaving me exposed.
Horrible horrible horrible company.
Why must this company oversaturate with their feel good, fuzzy commercials, then rip off their customers with lowball estimates?
My 22 year old daughter was taken advantage of, with a recent accident in a heavy snow storm, here in Buffalo, NY.
She got an estimate for $2700 damage. Upon calling Geico she was told- ohhhhh! We make it so easy! Just take pics and send, we'll get your estimate right away! They told her they were giving her $1,000, after her $1,000 deductible. So, my daughter would need to come $1,700 out of pocket, to get it fixed, as per their $2,000 bogus estimate. Absolutely disgusting. She pays for the insurance and your billion dollar company tries to rip off a 22 year old. You should be ashamed!
I'm calling my attorney first thing in the am and we'll start shopping around a new insurance company. I'll be sure to post on my personal page as well, with over 600 friends.
This company used to be decent and fair, not anymore! Now all they do is focus on taking advantage of costumers. I had a policy with these people for twenty years, never had an issue and when someone else decided to run into my lane and hit my car totaling it GEICO, my insurance company decided to cancel me, even though i was 0% at fault. DO NOT TRUST THEM! DON'T WAIT UNTIL THIS HAPPENS TO YOU.
They raised my rates from $110 a mouth to almost $600. I found another insurance and now they sent me to collections to get more money. I did what I was suppose to. They are a joke. Go else where.
The worst insurance you can take! I have more than 10 years with geico and have one accident and they told me that they are not covering! And I have "the best coverage" I feel stupid and cheated! Please don't get insurance in this company!
Never in my life have I dealt with a company that goes up on your payment 3 times a year! I'm not making more money on my job but they continue to go up! Why? My insurance is more than my car note! I was billed for February and it was still December! Was told that I could get more time to pay my bill if I got off auto pay and it was a lie! Ion understand! They lied to me and now I'm going to have to let my bills get behind because I have to pay them 944 this month and I just paid them 944 last month! So sad that this company treats their customers like they don't have other bill and jobs aren't paying more! I cant wait to leave them!
Geico has been my favorite insurance company by far. Whenever I have needed roadside assistance or a tow or had questions, I could easily reach a friendly and personable representative. They have always been patient and taken care of my issues and explained rate changes, and whenever I've had financial struggles, it has been easy to get worked out with geico. My claims experiences for damage to my vehicle have also been easy and pleasant, although they did not give nearly enough for some body damage based on the cost of paint alone, that's been the only issue. I highly recommend geico as the price is right, the coverage is amazing, and the people are friendly and go above and beyond in my experience.
In fours one claim the $#*! heads double my car insurance a 51 old man with no other drivers on the insurance! $#*! Geico!
Denied to pay towing and storage fees. Told to negotiate the fees and they'd reimburse! This with full coverage auto insurance. Steer way clear from GEICO!
**Review of Geico's Driving App: A Frustrating Experience**
I regret to share my disappointing experience with Geico's driving app, particularly in relation to its accuracy in assessing driving behavior. Initially marketed as a tool to save money by promoting safe driving habits, the app has proven to be a source of frustration and inaccuracy.
The app's claim of accurately measuring driving behavior seems far from reality. Despite driving responsibly, the app often indicates otherwise, suggesting phone usage or other inaccuracies that are not reflective of the actual driving experience. This has led to negative reviews, an issue I've personally encountered.
Attempts to address these concerns with Geico's customer service have been met with limited success. Despite contacting them multiple times, the response has been that there is nothing they can do about the inaccuracies reported by the app. This lack of resolution is disheartening, especially when considering the potential impact on insurance rates.
Comparisons with other insurance providers, such as Progressive and Allstate, reveal a stark contrast. These competitors utilize similar driving apps without the reported issues. Geico's failure to distinguish between actual phone usage and background processes is not only inconvenient but also raises concerns about the app's reliability and the fairness of the associated insurance pricing model.
For those seeking a reliable driving app to save on insurance premiums, my advice would be to steer clear of Geico. The frustration caused by inaccurate assessments and the lack of resolution from customer service make it an unreliable option. In the competitive landscape of insurance providers offering driving apps, Geico falls short, and I would caution against choosing them for this particular feature.
I have been with geico for a few years rates have been going up and I looked for better prices elsewhere. Switching to progressive I canceled my policy on November 13. On November 27 they took $427.00 out of my bank and I was charged a $35.00 overdraft. I am on a fixed income and did not figure on that money coming out of my account. Geico now tells me it's no their fault cause I was on auto pay, and in today's computer age they tell me they didn't get the letter in the mail in time for the billing. Everything is done by email today so I don't understand how a letter was in the mail.? Have been trying to speak to a manager, made 2 appointments and neither appointment did I get a call back.
Geico is one big rip-off! Quoted one price on my BMW and then when went to make purchase it was 500 more! They wouldn't have any compassion even though im sure the recorded phone call made my claim valid. The worst customer service experience I've dealt with in years. Never again, I'll do the hard work and move on.
Answer: Yeah, I just did. They were there for me when I needed them even though I had only the minimum coverage.
