If I could give them 0 stars I would. I placed an order for $199 using a $30 gift card and the rest charged to my credit card. We returned $125 worth of items and kept $74 worth of items. I should have received a refund of $125 to my credit card. Instead I received $94 to my credit card and a NEW $30 gift card. I called, emailed, and chatted with customer service. After 6 days of no one getting back to me, I called again. They told me that yes, they processed the refund incorrectly, but they can't change it on their end, so I'll have to settle for a $30 gift card instead of the credit to my credit card. In addition, as I tried to explain the issue, the customer service rep kept interrupting me. Incredibly rude. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get the refund processed properly. I will NEVER order from them again and would advise everyone against ever ordering with them. Terrible customer service and they will basically steal your money.
Garage is shein quality for 4x the price. Every piece ive bought from there has been ruined after a few washes. The jeans are horrible and wrinkle so quickly. They are actually the ONLY pair of jeans i have to iron before wearing. For the price of almost $70, you would expect better. Save your money for something actually worth it.
On February 19th, around 4:00 pm, the person who was working there as a Manager is an extremely rude person with very bad customer service. She misled me with her bad behavior. Today, I wanted to return an item that they had ordered for me online from the same store (same location) 2 weeks back. Even though they found the transaction on my app, they said they can't return it; instead, they would exchange it for anything, and then this new item would be a final sale. It's frustrating that a non-final item becomes a final sale because the customer decided to return it. Strict action should be taken against such rude managers.
Spent $400 on an order on feb 2nd paid express shipping and it hasn't even been sent yet! Customer support isn't helpful just says don't worry it'll be there but it's been weeks! I am no going to have to calm my credit card and do a chargeback. Worst company to deal with.
A jacket that I have worn zero times. She had an unpleasant smell and only one wash was enough for her to fall apart. NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY NON-REFUNDABLE CLOTHES THERE!
I was somewhat shocked when I spent $250.00 on 7 articles of clothing (at the Garage store in the Appleton, WI mall) and they wouldn't give me a.15 cent bag to put my purchases in. I was told by the cashier that I had to purchase the bag. I refused to pay for a bag after spending $250 there, so I carried my daughter's newly purchased "Garage" clothing throughout the mall until we left that day.
I have been in retail management for 45 years, we still give out bags...even with a $1.50 candy bar purchase.
That business decision has cost them a customer, I will never shop there again.
Had an issue with an online order. Went to the store to resolve (I was in the area) and the 2 ladies working in the store wanted nothing to do with me. Said they couldn't help without getting their boss involved. I said ok, please call your boss then…and then they refused and said I had to call customer service directly.
I called and was out on hold for 20 mins. I then followed the prompts for someone to call me back as "my place in line wouldn't be affected." Waited 1.5 hours and no one ever called me back. I then called again and have been in hold for over an hour as I type this.
This is terrible. Will never shop at Garage ever again.
I really like their clothes but customer service is horrible. My item was missing and first they said like it is not their responsibility that my items could be stolen from my mail room and also they said they don't do investigation for samll item. That's really $#*!ty way to say to their regular customer after I spend my times calling to them and Canada post back and forth.
Workers were not nice, very very cute clothes but the workers were horrible. It was mainly the cashier, please fix this problem
I feel bullied every time i walk into this store. I bought leggings from them a few months back bc my friend recommended them- worst leggings ever. Worse than forever 21. Literally horrible. They are so see that i literally cannot wear them out. I wear a medium in everystore and so i got a medium here. They literally cut off my circulation everytime I wear them. I feel like i cant breathe. This store is giving fatphobic vibes. I tried to return them and they told me no. Idk why- it was within the 30 days? Girl was so rude and nasty and kept judging me looking up and down. So disappointing. I have reached out to their support to see what i could do but have not heard back yet. I will keep u updated.

I will never let my daughter's shop here again. Cheap $#*! made clothes. Had a $60 pair of pants rip after buying 5 pair. In store they ordered the wrong size under a reorder even exchange. I Called the store who wouldn't do anything about their mistake, and waited in damn hold and a call back from 9am to 6:30 pm in the afternoon when a rep finally called me back to not doing anything about the issue they created. Will never ever support Such a $#*!ty $#*! business. Tried to get 0 starts but won't allow you to submit. They should have thumbs down options I would select the highest rating for that survey.
First thing is that the lady said it was my problem that i couldnt cancel. They have cute clothes but the agents don't know how to help & the clothes are pretty overpriced. Just tryna help y'all, but it's not worth spending ur money here ur honestly better off buying clothes from Aeropostale, hollister or cotton on, they have clothes that are like the ones they have. Again no hate to garage i know it's their way of making profit but it's just not worth it and it's a scam to ur money tbh (might as well give the name of the lady on the phone that i had but i believe it was loira or smt so keep an eye out for selener & hope she loses her job no offense but yes offense)
I ordered a black dress for 44 dollars (55 with shipping) for a wedding and received a white, crop top with a sale sticker on it for 20 dollars. I've inquired with them but have received no help so far. The shirt is ugly, too.
I ordered something online to pick up in store and once I picked it up I got an emailed receipt for double what I ordered. When I inquired about it, they told me it was an ongoing glitch but rest assured I was charged for the initial amount. I checked my bank statement and I was charged once on the day I made the order, & again for the same amount the day after I picked it up. I contacted them (took them FOREVER to respond) & they told me I was wrong because they only charge upon pick up. I checked with my bank, and its not a pending transaction as the money left my account twice, so I showed them they AND THEY STILL HAD TO AUDACITY TO SAY I WAS WRONG. Now I have to escalate this which is so much added stress. There's a reason I haven't shopped here since highschool.
I'm sorry to the other reviewers because thus far I have not had a problem with this clothing store, garage/dynamite. I have purchased both in store and online, additionally with their customer service. They now have messenger through Facebook and that always works really great, they have been able to give me coupons and refunds as requested. Additionally my orders arrive relatively quickly even for regular shipping as I have never used express. I live in the east coast, very close to NYC, so maybe that's why. Not sure. I'm now going to be 22 and probably will not be able to fit their target audience soon. But I know the clothes I have purchased were expensive and will keep them for a long time. They have lasted me a while thus far and I choose to only buy basics here because a lot of their stuff could be a lot cheaper. The employees do give off that vibe but never as bad as Brandy Melville. Overall, I like this store and not sure why so many people had negative experiences. I hope to not have that moving forward.I am also on their loyalty account the free rewards program so maybe that helps to the accountability with my orders thus far.
I purchased sweatpants foe 25$ and washed them twice and they look terrible now! Also they hire 15 year ilds bur rheir adds are super sexualized and their adds make their « models look like street walkers/hookers» makes no sense?! Raise strong women not sex objects in cheap clothes…
I ordered 2 flare leggings online, I got xs and they were still too big so I had to return them both in-person. I returned one because I forgot about the other one and I returned the second one 1 week later. I got my refund and my return receipt for the first time I went. Second time however, I gave the girl at the checkout counter the leggings and she said I would have my money on the same card right away I'm good to go. So I left because I thought I was getting my money quick like before. 1 whole day passed no money, so I went back, the manager said it should be 24-48 hours for me to receive my money and if I have any trouble I should call this number: *******138. I called them they said they were processing my refund should be 3-5 days, I waited 3-5 days and called on the 5th day, same thing, after calling 2-3 more times of the same cycle, still no update, I got an email saying " your refund is processing " I called again, they said I already got my refund on January 4th but that was my first return. And I'm like no I've made it clear I made the return on January 12 I need my refund for that, they said " oh we have been looking at the first return this whole time, let me open a new file for you " after that I called TWO MORE TIMES AND STILL NO REFUND ITS ALWAYS PROCESSING AND EVERY TIME I CALL THEY TELL ME TO WAIT 3 TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS, F&;'ttING SCAMERS

Answer: It's similar to American Eagle, but it's a bit cheaper depending on what you're looking at. The jeans from Garage are cheaper but equal quality to American Eagle, but American Eagle has more options. The shirts from Garage are super soft and amazing material. Garage is probably my favourite store.
