I ordered an arrangement called Beyond Blue Bouquet for my daughter's birthday. When she received her flowers she thanked me and sent along a photo. Not in any way what I ordered. This isn't the first time either. Proper one on the left, what she got on the right.
I figured all on-line flowers were more or less the same. Was I wrong. My flower order showed up hours late, it was about 1/3 the size of the photos on line, but it was full cost. Never use them. Stay away!
Like others listed here - I ordered something for my son's 1st birthday away from home nearly a week in advance. Delivery didn't happen. Called Florist.com the next day. "Oh we didn't get confirmation that the delivery even happened." "Oh, that florist is closed today, we can't ask them." And then the first business day available, "do you want us to delivery now?" $^&(@(? Yes - I wanted a nice edible present for my son. "Oh - we can't deliver now - it's after 11 AM our time... which is the cutoff." No responsibility for the mistake - someone else's fault. No action taken. Only platitudes. Only saving grace and why they rated one star? I got my refund quickly. I had to turn around and get another company to fulfill my needs without question and on the same day (after 11 AM too) but that's a different review.
Ordered flowers for my daughter 2 days in advance! It's 5 pm and still no order received! I called customer service and they can't answer any questions on where or why order not delivered yet! Terrible! I'll never use this damn place again!
I ordered flowers for an important occasion. Received "your delivery is today!" emails, but delivery was never made. Was sent to customer service purgatory, 60+ min on hold. No resolution. Don't order from FTD!
Flowers received were bruised and banged up (like they were in a box and kicked down a block. With apologies to the recipient, I contacted FTD (I was a gold member), I called and emailed a few times, but no one ever responded. I had hoped to let them know to assess what had happened - bad product, delivery... as it may have effective many customers. I never heard back by phone, email or even through account in mail. No customer service at all! Now I only send flowers directly from local florists.
I cannot stress this enough! Don't risk it!
Twice now they have promised and not delivered, leaving me no options by not letting us know beforehand!
This is a middleman website... selling to get a cut from floral businesses... their customer service agents are completely indifferent, and extremely hard to understand (foreign). Rude. Acted like holidays meant nothing to them. In one case offered refund on product that never showed but refused to refund shipping. Took a very long call to get even that much. In second case, they offered a refund minus shipping on product that received after the holiday... IF it was returned. Could not see putting my elderly relative through that hassle!
Don't risk it! They DO NOT CARE!
I ordered a $90 bouquet for my son and his wife's 1st anniversary. The bouquet was called "Color Craze" which included the most beautiful colors and I bought "the best" which was to be a huge bouquet of color. What they received was a small, literally a hand full of pale daisy's and lilies that anyone could pick up at the local grocery store check out line. I tried to contact them four times and could only get their answering service. No one ever called me back. I tried contacting them through email... nothing. After contacting my credit card company to stop payment, they refunded half the amount. I have disputed that as well. I am very surprised that FTD allows them to use their name on their site.
I ordered flowers online to be delivered on someone's birthday. There was ample time to process, about 5 days. They were not delivered on the appointed day. I contacted FTD by email and received a form letter response. 4 1/2 hours later no further response. Cal6l the 800 number twice and two agents told me they were unable to reach the florist. I asked for the name of the florist so I could contact for further delivery arrangements and they won't give it to you. They really don't care. If an occasion is important to you and you want to have something delivered there are plenty of other options. In fact, call a florist direct or use one of the many respected online flower delivery services.
Left expensive flowers on steps during a North Dakota afternoon of below 0 temps. No attempt to knock on door or ring bell. Flowers found frozen dead next day. Refuse to fix problem. Big mistake ordering.
Ordered a $130 "exquisite" bouquet for Mother's Day delivery. What showed up was a puny bunch flowers like you would grab for $15 at the supermarket. Thought Mom would be really impressed, but instead I was embarrassed when I saw it. FTD agreed to resend the right order, but not until 4 days later. While the new flower arrangement was nicer, the card that was attached was from people I never heard of. Still embarrassing. I am done with FTD.
They have no clue what their doing. Flowers were supposed to be delivered same day, 3 days later still were not. Then they gave me a hard time giving me a refund and was on the phone with them for about 30 minutes repeating my order number to about 5 different people. Sigh. And I missed the surprise.
Ordered flowers for Step Mom and Mother in law for Mother's Day. BIG MISTAKE!
Both orders were wrong! Paid for balloons that were not received at both locations and half dead flowers. Called the customer service number and spoke to someone in a different country. Was told I would get a call back the next day. No call so far! Order from somewhere else. The only thing these people guarantee is your complete "dissatisfaction"!
Flowers were never delivered. I did not get any emails or phone calls letting me know. My credit card was charged for $115! And when I called them, they said they cannot speak to me because my name is not on the order!
What a scam artists! Shame on YOU!
After 5 business days the flowers were never delivered. Followed up on an order that was made to be sent on Monday, and subsequently after for 4 days straight and then finally asked for a refund. I'm following up with my credit card company to ensure they don't charge me in the future. Worst online florist ever used. Ended up ordering from another online retailer, to make up the mistake Florists.com made. Had Ruth as my customer service agent.
Ordered flowers to be delivered same-day to my wife, at her office. Called about 30 minutes after placing the order online, to provide a suite number that I'd forgotten, and got a live person on the phone confirming that she'd receive them by 4 pm. Wife gets home from work at 6, empty-handed. Zero communication throughout the day, and failure to deliver. Wish I'd looked up reviews before committing to placing an order with these clowns.
PLEASE look elsewhere for your delivery needs.
Customer Service is terrible, in fact impossible to get a hold of. Continuous loop of dead ends if you call the 800#. No response via email for tracking or updates on orders. No excuse for such poor service!
Paid almost 70 dollars for an awesome heart shaped vase with red and pink roses and carnations for Valentines day. My wife sent a picture when she got them and although they were pretty and she liked them they were nothing even resembling what I ordered. I called customer service and all they can do is give me a 10% refund, (after reading some of these reviews I doubt I'll even see that), because, after all, they have a "substitution policy". So basically they can charge lots of money based on some fictitious image and send you anything they feel like and that how they roll. I hope to be part of a class action lawsuit against these con artists someday.
I ordered flowers for my aunts funeral since I couldn't be there in person to attend. I ordered them through the online obituary site and saw it was through FTD thinking they were reliable. Boy have they changed. I paid over $100 for an arrangement consisting of white roses, lily's and snap dragons but what arrived was daisies, lily's and hydrangeas... NOT $100 worth of flowers. NO roses, just filler flowers. Such a scam. They charge for a nice arrangement only to send a cheap one in its place. NEVER again. I'll call a florist and order direct next time. Very disappointing.
Pictures depict what was ordered and what actually arrived.
After numerous of phone calls I received my valentines flowers 3 days late from my Bf. The original order was a flower basket with teddy bear, but I received a simple bouquet with a vase with no teddy bear, no basket. First phone call to see when the flowers would be delivered, on valentines day, they informed me that the driver was on their way. 2 hours later, no delivery. I called again and spoke to the gentleman from flower shop, why the delivery could not be delivered, he got defensive and started arguing with me, telling me all kind of excuses regarding the 20 min drive for delivery, then he said he had no delivery guy. He suggested I could pick them up myself, after paying $15 in delivery charge. What a joke! I or my Bf, will never order flowers from them again, do your self a favor and pick another place!
