I placed an order for my best friend's birthday and then read the reviews of the site. I was concerned after reading many of these but overall I was pleased with the result. I sent them an email but received a bounce which caused me great concern, however every inquiry I sent was responded to in less than 12 hours. Flowers were delivered on time for an acceptable price (no more than I would have paid for a different site) and I was very happy to see the condition of the flowers - they will last for over a week. I have all good things to say (except for the bounced message and lack of tracking - which the Customer service indicated they are working on). If all things were in place, they'd get 5 starts from me.
Fellow Consumers,
I could not make this stuff up. FTD has one 1-800 number (as of 02/11/2016). You get to choose to 1) Place an order with a competent and Happy Sales Associate. Or...
2) Ask a question, a very simple one, AND THEN spend 23 minutes or more explaining your question and how they could feel free to talk with you instead of reading off the same cards everyone else is reading. They are trained to apologize and then proceed to explain how a totally different problem is not FTD's fault.
Today I had four of the most frustrating conversations ever.
Ftd should take a bow. They have learned all the tricks of the trade and stand behind their lawyer's version of Company Policy! In the end, your money "impressive" flower arrangement, and nerves are all burnt to a crisp... Greedy Corporation with no concern for the value of a customer or a human being.
A cautionary tale: If possible, when sending flowers as a gift ask the recipient to send you a photo of what they received. The last two times we ordered flowers on-line the person to whom they were sent received a significantly lower quality arrangement than was ordered/paid for. Because there is a third party involved one must be a bit more careful. FTD apologized and quickly sent the appropriate replacement. Having said that I gave them a low rating because it should be their responsibility not the buyer to "police" the system.
I ordered flowers for my wife to be delivered on a friday. First thing flowers were ready until, monday, then they told me that they don't deliver where i stay, then when i went to meet the lady the order was wrong, wrong size wrong colors. So i called the contact info online a week ago and nothing... no refund or redo or anything. So in short stay away from eflowers and use 1800flowers
I ordered flowers for my daughter on her first day of work in her new professional career. Not only were they like the picture, they were an excellent buy and delivered within 3 hours of my purchasing them online.
I paid almost double the price ($134.95) to upgrade to their 'best' product which was a bad decision on my part. In terms of some value for money, an upgrade to the 'better' product version might be a better option to select when ordering flowers through the FTD webpage. Buyers be aware. I was also disappointed that the birthday girl only received one of the five balloons that I had ordered ($30.00). I requested a refund for the balloons not delivered... no response yet. Total amount paid: $197.24... consumer RIPOFF... what do you think?
Ordered a bouquet of roses and prosecco for mother's day. They arrived as planned on Saturday, looking great (my mum sent me a pic). International ordering was simple, just pick your country and they show you what is available to order. All you have to do is pick and follow the prompts.
I wanted to leave a review because after reading all the horroble reviews after already placing my order I became very nervous that'd I'd be out of my money. I thought the flowers wouldn't come or that if they did they'd be dead, but the flowers DID get delivered and they were still pretty. They didn't exactly look like the picture, but my friend appreciated them. I just wish I would have received a confirmation delivery email.
I ordered chocolate covered strawberries for my daughter in law who just graduated med school. She's in Chicago and I'm in Florida so I was leary since I had never used florist.com. They were delivered on time and I was told they were fresh and delicious. Thank you for the beautifiul and delicious arrangement. I will be a repeat customer.
I'm glad I read these reviews before my flowers were delivered to my gf I got my refund immediately with no issue
FTD is a joke and they're completely unnecessary in 2023. They've $#*!ed me over so many times, I kinda blame myself. Flowers NEVER look like what's advertised. This time they never delivered the flowers. In order to help us, they took $10 off. What the $#*!? How about free since the birthday is over? What a joke. If I could snap my fingers and FTD winked out of existence, I would.
Cheaters! They changed their policy on the "free shipping" that I paid for and signed up for prior to completion of the contract - tried to deal with them and OF COURSE their verbally polite off-shore help desk did nothing. I am through with this company. Competition - the door is wide open - come on in
The most incompetent, irresponsible, and disorganized company that I have dealt with. They run their business on lies. I needed flowers delivered for my anniversary, they told me they confirmed it would be delivered that day. 8PM came along, still no delivery, went back to customer service chat and was told "don't worry" and that the flowers would be delivered the next day. I was also lied to earlier by another customer service rep stating that he confirmed with the florist would be delivered. Meanwhile, the florist said they tried to make a delivery, even though my girlfriend was home all afternoon and never received any type of delivery attempt or anyone showing up on the doorbell camera. Complete lies and nonsense. STAY FAR AWAY FROM FTD.
My dear girlfriend was struggling getting back into school as a teacher while dealing with the gloomy, cool weather (she's a summer girl), so I thought I'd scrape up the few bucks I had to send a beautiful bouquet to her school. The first photo is what I ordered, the pile of crap in the second is what was delivered. Basically, it turned a sweet and loving gesture into utter embarrassment for her. The rep from Eflowers, who sounded like a 19 year old boy, had no empathy (of course) and attempted to set up a time for the company to pick up the flowers from her work so they could refund my money, which would of course meant further embarrassment. You would think the pictures I sent would be good enough. This happened over a year ago and every time I've thought about leaving a review, I was too busy. But this should tell you how much I despise this company that I'm still upset enough to complain over a year later!
The recipient of my floral order never received them even though the delivery was confirmed. They must have been delivered to the wrong address. There is no telephone number provided for customer service so you can't speak to anyone. Meanwhile they respond by email when they get around to it. I'm on day two of getting no help and they charged my credit card for flowers never received.
I bought 2 items, a basket of flowers and a basket of sweets, days before the delivery date. They delivered the flowers first and said that UPS would deliver the sweets later, which ruined the surprise. Imagine caring so little about your customers that, in the business or surprising people on their special occasions, you just ruin a 200 dollars purchase and offer a 17 dollars refund for it. If you care about the person you buying these flowers for, buy from somewhere else.
I ordered the Blush Crush Bouquet ~ Premium. This item is pictured with a dozen lovely roses dispersed among a variety of additional beautiful flowers and greenery - a very full bouquet. Photo & receipt attached.
The recipient received nothing resembling what was ordered. There were 2/two roses, 3 very large flowers to fill space, a few additional flowers and some greenery. A much smaller bouquet that by no means resembled what I ordered (photo attached). I would quite simply call this "bait and switch". I do not recommend ftd and will definitely not use them again.
I rated as "1" as they were delivered on time.
I ordered a "Get Well" flowers for my niece from Florist.com. The delivered flowers was not as shown on their website at all. Instead of "Get Well" balloon, they used an used "Valentine" pink one. Next day, flower petals started falling. I contacted customer service. They promised to send a different one. It never happened. My niece's friend placed an order with them the same day. Her flowers was worse than mine and more expensive. PLEASE DO NOT USE FLOWERS.COM!
Will not use them again. The flowers were to be delivered yesterday. The driver said the address shows another city than what was on the order and the driver said she is done with deliveries for the day and would deliver the next morning to my daughter in laws work. Keep in mind she had already marked it "DELIVERED". She did not show by the time the office closed. They finally got to her and below is what she got. So very disappointed.
I have had an account with them and purchased many times. When the arrangements were pathetic at first, I thought it was a one time mistake. However, it kept happening. I don't think they expect the recipient to show the sender a picture of the flowers. Plus, their prices keep going up. When you contact them to ask for help... like, "how can I find when I need to renew my account?" they are very rude and short with you. Like not responding for over 10 min on a chat. When you need to ask for a refund because they made a mistake, they never get back to you. A few years ago, I loved having this service, but now, I would recommend any other florist other than FTD.
