I was really skeptical of the site at first since I had never used a service like this. However, after my first purchase and delivery (which I was really nervous about) Everything arrived relatively on time. I will use the service they offer a few more times to see whether the cost is worth it. The cost for my purchase was $30 dollar delivery using ups worldwide. I also added an additional insurance of $20. So total cost of delivery was 50 dollars plus tax.

I'm really pleased to have this option for having items shipped to me. I'd read a lot of reviews, both kinds, and decided to give it a test, which worked out really well. Once I figured out what to do, it's been a surprisingly straightforward experience each time, and I received everything quickly, too, and well packaged. I've only ever had things shipped from the UK to the US, but very happy so far!

Hard to find a trusted service provider these days. Especially when your goods include lithium batteries. They are the one, very helpful, upfront, reliable, responded my queries in timely manner, and I got my item imported from UK, delivered to my place without any issue.

I used to love forward2me but the cost of my recent package was twice what it normally would be. Numerous extra charges and limited shipping options. This may have been the last time I'll use this service.

In your case, the volumetric weight of your shipment was higher than its actual weight, so the shipping fees were calculated using the volumetric weight, which led to the increased cost.

I cannot believe it cost me 81 pounds to receive this tiny parcel that took four tearful weeks trying to arrange its postage to me.
A total rip-off, poor service, too long a wait……. Incorrect information, too many people referred me to FAQ and this never answered my query. I was told it needed re packing and then told it didn't but I had to pay for it anyway. Etc etc.
I deserve to get my money back.

No one answered my queries. It took me three agonising weeks till I sorted the site use.
The site is too difficult to negotiate. Too many staff tried to help me and most sent me"Go to FAQ."
I will never use this again and certainly not if I was made aware that it would cost another $200 to send a small light weight parcel.!
I tried for days on end to get help. Often in tears thinking I would NEVER get my parcel. I felt totally held to ransom.

I have used the service provided by forward2me multiple times and I can only recommend it. Packages are quickly processed and the shipping rates they provide are very fair. They also provide a lot of information about every package and every shipment in the dashboard that is very easy to use. But the best of all is the great customer support. The Wilmington, DE warehouse, where my US address is, has got very nice, committed and competent support staff who always try their best to help you with your individual problems and questions. For example, support staff Nica helped me split a package that was too heavy into two smaller ones and saved me hundreds of dollars. She then tracked my shipment and made sure everything went well. Great customer support!

I have used several different proxy and forwarding services to get items from Japan and I was a bit wary to use this new service, but I have to say Forward2Me came through when other services wouldn't handle my shipment!
I had to email with customer service quite a bit to make sure everything went smoothly due to the nature of my purchase, but I can at least say when there were some misunderstandings/issues; they were fair and I was satisfied with how they handled said issues.
From my experience, questions are answered fairly quickly and the customer service agents are both professional and helpful if you have any inquiries about something.
Overall, I feel as though Forward2Me went above and beyond to get my items to me, so if you want something that other services may not deal with or just want to give them a try as a forwarding service in general, I would definitely recommend giving them a shot!

First time forwarding service user. The forwarding itself went smooth. The only downside is that the price turned out to be higher than the price of the item being sent. It's probably justified, but initial estimate page showed me couple of options twice as cheaper, which were unavailable during the order finalization.

This is the formula most couriers, such as DHL and TNT, use to calculate their shipping prices. However, if the actual weight of the shipment exceeds the volumetric weight, the shipping cost will be based on the actual weight instead.
In your case, the volumetric weight is higher than the actual weight, so the shipping fees have been calculated using the higher volumetric weight.
Some packages are marked for repacking due to the fragile nature of the contents, such as ceramic wall lights. Ceramic materials are highly sensitive and can easily break or crack under pressure or impact, especially during transit.
