Unfortunately, most flights from my local area have too many hours layover. We have to travel almost two hours to take another flight.
I have the worst experience through Flight Network, I had booked my flight in Oct 2019 via them from Canada to India from Air Canada, on my return, due to COVID 19 travel advisory, I had requested to date change where I was charged CAD 962, later the flight got cancelled, I was trying to reach Flight Network for several days and night through phone with long wait times, Facebook and email but no proper response. Finally, I get email reply from customer service stating since the flight was cancelled from Air Canada Flight Network has no control to do any changes and I have get in touch with Air Canada, later, I contacted Air Canada they said that as per the policy they cannot do any changes it has to be done through the Flight Network. Again, I called up Flight network spoke to an Agent named ABU, he said they cannot do anything as they do not have access to my file and without confirming any information. I was played like a ping pong between Flight Network and Air Canada. Again I tried to reach Flight Network to reconfirm and I got hold of another agent, she said, she can see my tickets and it is open and can be changed but there would again charges due to fare difference and if I apply for refund it would be considered voluntary and one way fare rule will apply and I wont be entitled for any refund amount, my return ticket is also restricted with same route. I am stranded with no options from Flight Network and I am unable to pay fees again and again. I strongly insist not take any travel service from Flight Network as they are not capable of assisting customers when they are in need for help.
I booked a ticket from Sydney To Delhi by Vietnam Airlines using Flight Network AU site. For some reason, Airline changed my return flight which increased my layover time. I requested Flight Network to provide me alternative through Airline but they refused. They said Airline has given you alternative flight and our task stops there. If you want to change, talk to airline. I talked to airline Melbourne Office and they so nice and they not only agreed to change my flight but also gave me the alternative in writing and asked me to tell my agent (Flight Network) to give airline a call. They also provided the contact details etc for the agent to contact to. For last 15 days I am struggling and Flight Network is not talking to the airline. They are offering me to book ticket on the new date with additional fare and admin fees instead. I have sent the copy of the airline letter to them where in they agree to authorize the flight change but no one in the flight network seems to understand this. They keep transferring me to different departments and do nothing. Pathetic bunch of incompetent people with no desire to help customer and resolve issue. The issue is now pending with their backend support team for last 5 days with no response. It looks like a delaying tactic so that I am tired and stop hassling them. I am thoroughly disappointed with the way they are treating this issue. They keep repeating the same response like a parrot without going through any details provided by me. They have no way to escalate matter to their seniors and no place where I can complain or take it further. Really feeling helpless. I would have given them 0 or negative rating if there was an option.
I paid $342 for this $#*!tyy flight network for nothing. All that money it's like I just gave it away for free.
This flight booking service needs to be shut down seriously! They are basically a gaggle of slime-ball criminals whose call centers and no doubt head offices are located in some backwater INDIAN village with probably 5 uneducated, barely audible grumpy losers who are bottom of the barrel type people who do not mind telling you to go to hell and will sit there and explain their scams with no shame. The main scam they caught me on was selling me flight cancellation insurance claiming it was 11.00 and then they asked for my C. C. info and THEN the bill came back as 93.00 for the insurance, whereupon I called immediately to cancel the insurance and was told under no circumstances was that permitted and so then I said fine cancel the entire purchase and was told this was impossible too since the tickets were already PRINTED, like after less then 5 minutes after I clicked on the complete purchase part and saw they were scamming me for almost 100 bucks! These people are professional scum... Indian 3rd world criminals and they really need to be barred from internet business and I am so pissed at them I just might do it. Oh ya, I called today 2 days after this fiasco to see if I could change the dates, since I was badly assaulted yesterday and my face is a mess, no way, minimum 350 dollars more, so I asked about cancelling the trip since I paid 100 almost for the cancellation insurance and I was told to get it I would need proper documentation saying I could not travel from my injuries! So in the end the cancellation insurance I was badly scammed with does not even cover you unless you have proof of injury! These guys are a blight on the online booking community!
I'm a senior citizen and my eyesight is not what it was... I'm 63 and wear glasses for reading and distance. I didn't notice the small print on their webpage that mentions that the seat selection is an extra charge. What is worse is that they know that there aren't enough funds allocated on their site to seat selection approval by the airlines and so you can be almost 100% sure that the airlines will reject your seat selection so this is an outright farce to charge you more and a you won't know until you've paid that you were sucked in with no way to remove the option at the end. On top of that, the CSR was rude in insisting that they were right and that it's my fault for not seeing the small print... that maybe so but Quebec retail sales law says that you have the right to cancel options within a certain maximum amount of time after a purchase which is not the case here. I will be reporting this practice to the BBB and also to the Quebec consumer review board. Make matters worse they e-mailed me back insisting that they were right and in their right. Ridiculous! They showed no willingness to apply a certain amount of goodwill. Several times in my call back to them which by the way was only about 4.5 hours after my initial purchase and when I received their confirmation back by e-mail, I told the CSR that I believed him and that I had to get off the phone so that I could get back to work and he insisted that I listen to him. What a condescending SOB! If he were my employee, I would give him a stern warning and next time I would terminate him with just cause! I'm still so upset about this guy's poor behaviour that I have if I had a change of heart I would give the company a failing grade and post it all over my social media: FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Messenger!
Was trying to find last minutes tickets nonstop, wasn't having any luck. However, FlightNetwork was able to find me a nonstop flights. Great job.
Great site easy to maneuver and the price was more than great compared to the other sites i looked at
Some flights say it is cheaper, but when it is opened, it shows that there is no avaliable tickets. In summary, this website is very good.
The site is real easy to navigate and simple to make a reservation.
The following confirmations and instructions arequick and explanatory. Thank you.
Useless. Wait for hours on the phone, no email help, no customer support. Useless.
Then they email you generic stuff which doesnt help.
Easy to follow instructions. Good communication of what to expect and the timeline. What was promised was delivered
They gave me $200 Credit for cancellation flight and they charge me $200 for rebooking fee to use the credit.
Easy to book, confirmation really clear and fast, airline confirmations also quick.
Friendly webpage.
Almost all of airlines in the world have 100% refund options due to Covid 19 outbreak but flightnetwork does not!
That's a big...
Yes. Please help Flight Network go bankrupt. It's easy. Simply don't buy any plane tickets from them. Here's our story:
Booked fligths to Europe which included a direct flight home to Montreal. Some weeks later, we recieved an email telling us that our direct flight had been changed to the flight from hell, one with a 10-hour overnight lay-over in Brussels. Called Flight Network and the friendly customer service man told us that we could get our original direct flight back. That was untrue. Four days later, with no confirmation having been recieved, we emailed FN. Even though the direct flight was still being offered on their web site, they informed us that it was no longer available. Again, a false staement. The next day we called them. Our initial direct flight was still on their web site. Another customer service guy told us the flight was "not available." I pointed out that I was staring at their web site and the flight was clearly being offered. Got some mumbo-jumbo explanation and a "not available." I responded, "Ok. How about the flight with only an hour and a half lay-over in Paris?" Response, "Not available." Asked for another flight that was on their web site. Same response. It should be noted that these "Not available" prononcements were uttered instantly. He took no time to consult his computer. These were clearly lies as our initial direct flight and the others requested were all on the FN website.
So, you can avoid a lot of aggravation and bother by not purchasing tickets from Flight Network. And, if they do go bankrupt, their beleaguered employees will almost certainly find new jobs at another company, one that doesn't force them to lie for a living.
Answer: I have the same experience on 07/21/2021. I was on hold for 1 hour for two times and then it got disconnected.
Answer: Hi there, the promo code box is under the insurance section on the final step of the booking process. We can certainly add the code to your booking however, I will need your booking number. Can you provide? Once we have that we will issue you a refund. Have a great day. / Courtney
