I believe i was tricked into taking cancelling insurance on my trip. You advertise your rate at 11$ for trip cancellation in big letters but you put a small printed message at the bottom of the page that says per person per night. I thought the insurance was 11$ that is why i took it. I had no chance to review the cost of my trip with insurance, as soon as i pressed confirm there should be a screen with the payment review before it became official. I called right away to cancel but was told that the best you can do is 50% off. I don't want this insurance. I feel like i was tricked. I will be contacting the better business bureau as i feel this is not right.
No need to book the flight through this agency. It is much better to book the flight directly from the airline. Much easier to make changes, and better customer service. Flightnetwork.com is just extra trouble with no extra services compared to book the flight directly from the airline. I wish I booked my flight directly from Norwegian airlines.
Also please don't buy something called cancellation protection policy'! I naively thought you could cancel your flight for any reasons and get refund, but it turns out that there must be some reason to cancel the flight, and certificates are needed from the insurance.
I needed to cancel my flight urgently, but the insurance company has no customer care phone number and, after 1 day, they have not yet replied to my email. I contacted the flight network.com customer care service, and they say that insurance will reply within 3-5 days. Well, my flight is in 5 days! What a scam!
BEWARE! They are a complete and total scam. Paid $200 for seat selection. When they airline changed my flight to a partner airline, they said to contact flight network to have them re-submit my seat selection. After calling for a month, almost every day, I was kicked around from team to team and given a complete runaround. I never got my seat selection, and I never got my money for seat selection refunded. They will make your travel experience HELL. I ended up having to pay ANOTHER $200 to select different seats. Stay away- it is worth it to pay more and book through the airline, or a reputable travel agency.
I'm in Vietnam trying to book a flight. Upon. Realizing my error I made quick contact with your rep. She made the required arrangements in very good time and I was very satisfied with the results. Thank you again.
Worst Flight Booking platform
I would rate 0 for this platform. 2 days back I got best cheap offer from this platform from Delhi to Calgary flight. I booked it right away and also got confirmation email, money was deducted from my card. I was really excited for my plan and already started packing. However, today in the morning in my Junk folder I see an email for cancellation of flight. FOREALL!
With no reason of cancellation.
Disgusting service, would never recommend this to anyone
Also, they don't answer calls!
I booked a set time and date, pressed approve and received a different date and time.
When I asked to change it they asked for a 400 dollar change fee - this is where the money is made.
Thankfully I took pictures as below
To make it worse when given an Australian number, it was disconnected and the manager refused to take to me
I purchase an air ticket via flightnetwork recently. The entire transaction was conducted in USD but today I received my credit card bill. FlightNetwork charge the transaction in CND and it is 12 dollar more than I was quoted. In addition, my credit card company also imposed a foreign transaction fee for this transaction.
I will never buy anything from this terrible company again. Never.
I've been waiting 2 years for my $1400 refund due to covid cancellation.
Flightnetwork has said Qantas only refunded $504 of the total amount - which they received.
After speaking to Qantas, they said the entire amount Was released back to flightnetwork.
So it's obvious that Flightnetwork has received a full refund, but are only partially refunding the customer, and pocketing the rest.
I tried to rebook my flights, but was told I would need to pay over $2000 in fare difference... even with $1400 in credit - the actual plane fares were $1420! SCAM SCAM SCAM!
The well-designed site flowed perfectly and efficiently.
I got to FlightNetwork via Skyscanner and was happy with the price and booking process. BUT, then i needed to change the return flight. Of course i expected to pay a charge to do so, but it proved impossible to contact them to make any changes. Result, return leg forfeited and an expensive one-way flight booked. I WILL NOT be using them again, would rather pay a little more with someone else.
FlightNetwork had the best price for a multi-city series of flights. However, my online purchase would not go through. I called the hotline, and customer service rep, Abdul, identified the glitch immediately, fixed it, and ensured that I got the right series of flights on the spot.
While booking the ticket they say you can cancel the ticket in 24 hrs, but when try to cancel they charge $57 cancellation fee. ***This i find a real cheat***, why can't you mention about the cancellation fee at the front page itself. Very bad customer service****
My flight cancel! 30 euro fees for refund! But no refund. No answer, nothing. In phone you can't reach them, they sent you to check your refund status on your page) what is shows that flight is okay, even a airtight company ( in my case gulf) officially sent a note about it
We had a problem booking on line with the seat reservation so we called your office and spoke to Dildar Shaikh. Our trip was a bit difficult because we wanted to make a triangular
Voyage and dealt with different airlines. Anyway he resolved our problems and we were most happy with his suggestions. Please express out thanks to Dildar and will certainly use your company for future bookings.
I make an online reservation on March 20th for a flight from Paris to Bali for a total sum of 1529, 20 and I am called to confirm the reservation, I confirm and I see 5 days later on my bank statement a levy 1529. 20 and another additional levy of 1000. They justify this as an extra because the flight was not available and say that I accepted by phone, it's totally wrong! And they send no invoice or email. I file a complaint immediately against this company. The flight does not even cost that price on the website of the airline!
PI booked with flight network last time in Dec 2016. The price was dropped and they gave me $198 price drop protection, which i used in my next flight. They are doing well, but check all the terms and condition before booking the flight.
My experience:
-no customer support
-abusive company practices
-will leave you stranded in foreign countries
-do not honour terms of sales
-abusive company agents
-over charge
-will book you in to airports where you need to obtain Transit Visa's to connect with other flights = time, money and stress
If you want to avoid self abuse then at all costs avoid this company and tell others too as it can be considered a compassionate act.
I always use FlightNetwork to book my flights and I've just had confirmation that they are the best! An error was made on a flight I booked and I noticed it right away and immediately called them. They were able to help me and did not charge me when I was well aware that they were within their rights to charge. I am very appreciative that they were able to make the change without charge. I know that isn't their policy but they were able to help me this time. Thank you FlightNetwork!
I've only just used flight network for the first time, through the kayak site. The website was simple to use and I got the best value flight. Hopefully everything else goes to plan (too early to tell really).
The trip was faultless! One stop-over with a short wait and great connections. The price was high but I was getting out of FL for home ahead of Dorian. Plus Labor Day weekend. This was a Wednesday flight.
Answer: I have the same experience on 07/21/2021. I was on hold for 1 hour for two times and then it got disconnected.
Answer: Hi there, the promo code box is under the insurance section on the final step of the booking process. We can certainly add the code to your booking however, I will need your booking number. Can you provide? Once we have that we will issue you a refund. Have a great day. / Courtney
