Better pray that you never have a problem. They make it not very easy to get a hold of customer service probably cuz they don't want to hear the nastiness coming out of people's mouths about the crap they have to put up with when shopping with this company. All they do is email you back and blow you off like you don't matter. Unfortunately that's how it goes when you deal with low value companies such as this. The customers always right or so I've always been told but not when it comes to these guys. According to them you're always wrong and there's not a damn thing they can do to help you. Unfortunately I had to give them at least one star cuz you can't give them less than that.
I went in to Five Below to buy a cell phone screen saver! I had just left the cell phone store! My screen was cracked! Found out that my phone was not cracked! It was my screen saver that was cracked! I had purchased it at Five Below so I went immediately to Five Below to purchase a new one because the cell phone store wanted me to purchase a screen saver for $45. As I was checking out the sales clerk, Christopher Banks helped me at the self check out and made sure that the cover I was buying was the correct size! The one I purchased was not a full screen like my previous one, but they did not have any full screen covers at this time! Christopher went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of! I didn't have my phone with me, but he waited while J went to my car to get it so J could make sure it fit! He was very friendly and did say hello to customers entering the store and said Welcome to Five Below! I did share with his supervisor what a great employee he is!
I walked in to pick up an online order. Let me remind you I never ordered here as it's for a gift. I walked in and I stood there waiting for the cashier to stop ringing up the customer. There was a line but I didn't think me asking a question would make this a problem. I simple waited till she was done with them and asked where do I pick up a pick up order? She looked at me with the rudest fact and said um you can get in the back of the line. And rolled her eyes at me. I felt completely embarrassed because there were so many people looking at me like I was stupid. I then finally get through the line just for them to tell me they canceled the order because they no longer have it in stock. But online it says they had 5. So not only did I get treated like I was dumb I got to drive 20 miles for them to tell me they just canceled it. I placed my order at 2 am the night before. There was plenty of time for them to cancel it so I could get a email…! This store might need some help.
Do NOT shop at this store. I went into my local 5 Below establishment, just to find that they were OUT of furry venom black panther funko-pops. And I was like, "racist much?" How could they do this. They should NOT get away with this, why do they not stock up knowing it's black history month? This is also so un cool and is NOT very supportive over the furry community. Way to go 5 below. You just lost a customer.
Went to store on rt 1 Alexandria VA the store was filthy. There was a sign that shoes were 3 for $10 when I got to register she charged $8 each. When I complained and pointed out the sign she said that sale has been over and continues to put them in bag. I said if you aren't going to honor on shelf I don't want after arguing and asking numerous time for a manager she took them off. I went to talk to manager who said she's right we can't sell for price on shelf that is over. Very rude walked away while I was talking to her
An employee I believe her name was McKenna had an impressive amount of patience, while my sister is counting out her many pennies! She was kind and patient through it all, and I am very appreciative of her.
I visited 5 Below in Willowbrook NJ and spoke to the employee at the door. Her name was Leighana. I was looking for a particular key ring and she knew exactly what I wanted and where to find it! She was so friendly and helpful! She showed me the great reusable shopping bag, so I bought 10! I will definitely be back to shop!
Five below needs to change their name, to "Five Above" I went to one of the Five Below here in Houston, TX and they have raised their prices. They have more stuff in their stores more than five dollars, even the five dollor items have went up to $5.55 and $5.95. I brought six items today and spent $46.11, almost $50.00! Ridiculous! CHANGE THE NAME!
Went into Five Below to return and replace phone chargers. My husband had gotten 2 sets of chargers for our phones, but they weren't the right fit. I brought the chargers to the front ti return before I went to find what we needed. The cashier needed a code or something from the store manager. This is where I meant Kristina. She asked me to go what I wanted first and we would do the whole process at once.
While I must have been gone too long because Kristina came over to me and noticed I was lost. I was on the phone with my husband trying to figure out what he wanted me to get. She asked if she could help...I put her on the phone with my husband and very patiently she helped. She brought the chargers back to the desk and even tried them out to make sure they worked the way we wanted.
How many people in this day and age take such pride in their job. She not solving major world problems, she was just being kind, respectful to a store customer. She deserves an acknowledgement from her superiors. She deserves a raise. She deserves something. This kind of interaction is natural, she must be like this to all customers. Hope she gets rewarded.

My daughter talked me into going in this store for the first time. We actually had an amazing experience that day. I was very impressed with the items we got, the price, and the quality of those items. So, a few days later, decided to order some things online. Everything I added to my cart was available and I paid immediately after. Waited a little longer than I do with other companies, for my items to come in the mail. I open the box, and there were multiple items missing. I paid $8 for shipping. If I would've known that I would've went to the store. I ordered online because I wanted a few things they didn't have in my store. How do they let you pay for items then sell them to someone else later on!? Never got an email about it either. I talked to the "online chat" and they did refund me my shipping fee and the items that were missing so at least that's fair. Just disappointing to say the least.
Bad experience my first order was over 204$ I'm missing 6 items from my cart they refuse to swap out or to send a refund for the items they messed up very disappointed and lost out on 6 presents for my kids for christmas, do not order from there they mess ur order up don't want to refund you but then tell u that u can reorder everything. Don't waste your money! Jacqueline was the worst representative to get help from her if I could leave a negative 5 star review I would and sincerely a pissed off costumer, for the future I would sincerely suggest getting rid of some of your team member with people that actually want to help the costumer. Very upset with the whole team, especially during the holidays get you $#*! together!
Five below on Broward is the worst place ever to shop my son went to return his headphones the manager sterotype him calling him you people instead of just giving him his money back for the defective headphones I called the police no resolution if you shop there please open your products in front of them cause they do not honor there policy on the receipt.
I went to get candy and it turned out to be lip balm. I didn't see that it read lip balm because it was in the smallest letters possible. Then I got head phones. When I tried to use them it didn't work. The sound was still coming out of my phone, then I went to take to head phones out of my phone they broke in my phone. I use to love this place until now….
I was disgusted by how my child and I were treated at checkout. All the self checkouts were "closed". We had to check out with a very unfriendly disgruntled young girl wearing her pajamas. She was yelling the credit card instructions at my child trying to use her gift card and threw the hangers from the clothes she was buying. She is 9 years old. I'm still fuming. There was more...
So today i got some self adhesive lashes. I tried to attach them to my eyelashes, but they seemed to not stick. I tried and tried and they continued to fall off. This package said no glue needed but clearly I needed glue. I would not recommend these thank you!
While shopping, at the river landing site in Miami, I noticed that the manager was constantly sending employees when I paid. He was also very rude when I left. It was an embarrassing experience. Two of his empeleadas are very charismatic and kind the other is rough just like the Manager and has a bad attitude too. Excusing herself that she is Cuban and they speak like that. More training for employees including the manager, also the manager doesn't speak English.
I was at the check out paying cash,the register wouldn't accept cash so I pushed the button for help. I stood there for 10 minutes an after that time I went looking for a worker an no one was to be found. Went to the back office an all the employees were just standing there. Do better with your service to customers! There should always be a worker in the front to help customers.
Bought wireless headphones. They broke after just one month. Bought another set thinking exercising EXTREME care would make a difference. It did not. They snapped after just one month. I won't be going here again.
I got a tumbler that was five dollars I dropped it once and the stupid thing is leaking. I also got an led light the thing stopped working so I put new batteries and fixed the remote but it was still broken. Great prices, but a huge ripoff. It just shows for good quality buy the more expensive things.
I went to the 1011 University Blvd location at 549pm on a Sunday and the doors were locked. People were shopping. I knocked and the young lady angrily came and asked why I'm knocking on the door. I said because online it says your open for another 10min but your doors are locked and I need a few things. They proceeded to talk about what a bad day I must be having. No. And there were very few items available on the shelves and the store was filthy
