My experience was excellent 11 out 10, had a packaging issue when the Tv arrived First Class Tv's sorted it out immediately and better.
I am going to be EXTREMELY specific. I purchased a Samsung QN65Q80RAFXZA 65" QLED TV along with a "FIVE YEAR Warranty for $1500". My TV died 30 days prior to the warranty expired. I made a claim to CPSCentral.com THIRTY DAYS before the warranty expired. The warranty company offer me a "settlement" for $645.00 (which in NO WAY will cover the cost of a replacement TV...NOT EVEN CLOSE) First Class TVs will NOT help me recovering the $1500 in order to purchase a new TV. The warranty company is a FRAUD and First Class TVs does NOT even own up to the BOGUS warranty. I got nothing but LIP SERVICE from Jacob and Michael at First Class TVs. The CPS company could care less and even tried to get me to locate my own service. They offered my a $100 amount in order to get the TV serviced. I called Samsung.com and they told me at MINIMUM for the service call it would bel $450.00. I am still without a TV after over a month. I am 72 and retired on a fixed income. I STRONGLY say to anyone thinking about purchasing a TV from these people to STAY AWAY. I PROMISE you WILL BE SORRY.
I found them 10% cheaper than others. Then, they called to confirm the shipping insurance and added that on the total cost. At first, I said, no thanks - I can get at big store down the street. But, David explained that local will charge sales tax AND only 2 yr limited warranty, overall higher cost than 1stClassTV offers with shipping. I was impressed with the logic and added the FULL 5yr warranty. In total, it was STILL cheaper than local.
I'm very happy to come across such a good deal.
They will call you after showing you the full price, collecting your credit card, and you placing the order online. They will say they need to add insurance and this is hundreds of dollars, making it the same price as anywhere else. When you cancel the order they will not respond to any requests to delete your personal data. I'm just waiting for the future credit card fraud since they have all my info now without ever charging anything.
I have purchased 2 tv's within the past year and I am very pleased with both purchases. From ordering to delivery everything went smooth and I couldn't beat the price. I even had my sister buy from First Class Tv's and always recommend them to friends and family. Thanks!
The company communicated very well regarding our order and we received the tv in good working order in a reasonable amount of time. Would definitely order again from here.
Got a wonderful deal on a beautiful tv. From start to finish First Class TV's were prompt on setting up delivery and finishing the delivery. Highly recommended for anyone in need of great tv at low prices!
Buying our new tv from First Class TVs was very easy. The TV was a great pice. The delivery people set the TV up for us to ensure it worked. We have extremely pleased with both the company and our new TV.
Very pleased with First Class TV, communication and shipping, even paying insurance etc. overall the price was way more competitive than retail or other online stores that I checked. It allowed me to save on the cost on top of being able to upgrade the TV model as a result of the savings. I did not mind waiting for the TV to arrive, if I wanted to pay hundreds more, I could have gone to a local Electronics outlet (and I did check) and had it the next day, well worth the wait. Shipping was a good experience, the shipping company checked the condition of the TV before they left and even put into my house. I would have hated to have maneuvered that size box. Pleased with the purchase and process.
I wish that I had seen these reviews before I placed my order. Ordered the TV March 2,2022, a couple days later received a call for the "shipping insurance" fee as mentioned by others. Why not just include it in the price which is the same exact price it's listed for at Best Buy, Costco and Amazon? Anyway, I foolishly paid the shipping insurance fee, and I'm still waiting for my TV 4 weeks later. The shipping company they use AM Delivery, and they didn't even know where the item is, they just keep saying it's on it's way. I've left several VM and emails to First Class TV with no responses. Today is 3/25/2022 (Friday), and I plan to cancel this order or have my credit card company refund my money by Monday if still no response. I'd rather pay the extra $200 in taxes on Amazon, get my TV within a few days, and at least Amazon and Costco would include 4 years of warranty for free. I do not recommend using this company.
Called me a few hours after I placed my order to say Thry can't ship a tv without charging me an extra $150+ for insurance. Claimed this is their standard policy but as of March 1st 2022 its not on the homepage, the TV's page, or anywhere in the checkout process. Really shady practices here so I canceled my order. Still waiting on confirmation though!
Placed an order for a 75'' Samsung Frame TV in October 2021. FirstClassTVs called me a few days later extorting $187.92 for "shipping cargo insurance", which I paid. More than two months later and the order has not been delivered and no one at FirstClassTVs is answering the phone (or calling back after I left a plethora of voicemails), and no one is replying to my emails or requests submitted on their website.
First Class TV's and the delivery service AM Trucking are equally terrible. It took a full month for me to receive my LG OLED TV. The TV didn't ship for over a week, then when it did it sat with AM Trucking for another two weeks, First Class TV's was finally able to get AM Trucking to schedule a delivery, which they didn't show up for, they no showed, no call and then the next morning they called and said they were 15 minutes from my house, and if I couldn't be there they would put me in queue for reschedule. I was able to get the address of their next delivery, and meet the freight company on the side of the road to collect my TV. Even worse, out of the box the TV has vertical lines that are visible on some content, but have started to clear up with use of the pixel refresher. If I could do it over again I would pay the extra money and just go to best buy to get my TV, neither of these companies are worth the hassle. Ebay also deleted my negative feedback on the transaction. Very shady.
I made the mistake of ordering from them, only to find that numerous complaints I have seen about them are correct. They bait you with a low TV price and free shipping. Then shortly after you order, they call you up "to discuss a few things": which includes adding a few hundred dollars to your purchase for mandatory shipping insurance. The worst thing about this was that, after seeing complaints about this, I emailed them to ask if their prices were all inclusive, or if additional insurance fees would be tacked on. I was told it was all inclusive, there would be no fees. However they were clearly not telling the truth. When I told the gentleman trying to charge me this fee about what I had been promised, he just rudely dismissed it saying he didn't know who told me that and that I was still getting a good price. However, absolutely refuse to give business to dishonest people like FirstClassTVs. They cannot be trusted.
They advertise free shipping on their site. You place your order. A day or two later they call you and say you have to pay mandatory insurance for the shipment. You push back but then panic because the TV was a good deal and cave like a fool. You hang up and immediate want to punch yourself. Would never order from these scumbags again, I hope they go bankrupt with practices like this.
With this company, you have to know the secret to call in (after you have waited a week with no tracking info). Once you call in, you discover that you needed to add $130 of shipping insurance to your order before they will process your shipment. The invoice that is presented to you at the time of purchase is NOT correct even though it shows a final total including shipping. Then you have to wait for the slowest shipping service in the world. I have been waiting for 3 weeks and I still dont have my TV. We get spoiled with Amazon, but I could have had the exact same TV in 2 days at the same FINAL price with Amazon. Im still waiting for my shipment... we will see if it ever gets here.
I paid the advertised price and received a call saying I needed to buy an additional $160 in insurance.
They are scammer, called for adding insurance but never ship the TV that I paid for, never reply email and phone calls.
Price was good, but customer service lacking. In hindsight would have rather gone with another Co...
Happy
Answer: Shipping insurance is not a scam. When you are shipping a fragile item that costs thousands of dollars it must be insured. We quote the shipping insurance afterwards so the customer can save the most money. If we included in the price you would pay much more than you would need to since shipping insurance is a variable cost. Keep in mind that after the shipping insurance you are still receiving the TV at the lowest price in the nation GUARANTEED. Its a simple concept to understand. Some customers unfortunately cannot grasp the concept but we have thousands that do and get to enjoy these great TVs and AMAZING PRICES.
Answer: Yes, you get a call after you order. I canceled the order, sounded like scammers.
