I ordered my TV from First Class TV because their price was so good, and their reviews were pretty good. While I still wonder about my decision because of the risks involved, I have had a change of heart on the company from my original one star review. My issue, at this time, is having a problem with the freight company they use, AM Home Delivery, to deliver my TV. While this issue indirectly reflects on First Class TV, I believe now that they have shown due diligence in helping me resolve the issue, and I do believe they are a legitimate seller. They just need a more reliable shipping company even if it costs a little extra, or they need to have a serious heart to heart with the carrier. AM Home Delivery seems to be the real fly in the ointment. They are unreliable, and are outright liars..
They also tried their bait and switch scam on me. I ordered the TV at a low advertised price, then by the end of the day they called to "confirm my information" and inform me that I was required to purchase insurance for the order. The price of the insurance drove the overall price of the TV up above other advertised prices, so it really was not cheaper than other retailers. It was a waste of time.
I ordered a TV from these guys thinking that I got the best price around. A few hours later I get a call saying that I need to authorize an additional charge of roughly $180 for 'shipping insurance' that wasn't included on their website price. After succumbing, I expected to promptly receive my TV. Almost a month later, it never showed up, and the product hadn't even been released to the shipping company. I canceled the order and got my money back. Totally unacceptable.
I paid the advertised price and received a call saying I needed to buy an additional $160 in insurance.
INITIAL PRICE WAS MUCH LOWER THAN OUR LOCAL COMPANY.
BY THE TIME THEY WERE THROUGH ADDING THEIR "NECESSARY
FEES" THE PRICES WERE ALMOST THE SAME AS LOCALLY.
WE WERE PROMISED 'WHITE GLOVE' DELIVERY WITHIN A WEEK. "DUE TO THE HOLIDAYS", IT TOOK SEVERAL WEEKS. THE 'WHITE GLOVE' SERVICE ENTAILED TWO THUGS PLUGGING IN THE T. V. TO SHOW ME IT HAD POWER. THEN THEY LEFT THE T. V. IN THE BOX ON THE FLOOR.
WE HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH THE SOUND FROM DAY ONE.
BUT, JUST DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM.
First Class TV's and the delivery service AM Trucking are equally terrible. It took a full month for me to receive my LG OLED TV. The TV didn't ship for over a week, then when it did it sat with AM Trucking for another two weeks, First Class TV's was finally able to get AM Trucking to schedule a delivery, which they didn't show up for, they no showed, no call and then the next morning they called and said they were 15 minutes from my house, and if I couldn't be there they would put me in queue for reschedule. I was able to get the address of their next delivery, and meet the freight company on the side of the road to collect my TV. Even worse, out of the box the TV has vertical lines that are visible on some content, but have started to clear up with use of the pixel refresher. If I could do it over again I would pay the extra money and just go to best buy to get my TV, neither of these companies are worth the hassle. Ebay also deleted my negative feedback on the transaction. Very shady.
I recently bought a Samsung TV and could not be more happy with the price and product I received. I shopped around all over it locally and could not find anywhere with a fair price on the new Samsung QLED 75 inch. I highly recommend purchasing they made it so easy and shipping was quick I definitely recommend.
A+++++
I was little concern about buying big and expensive tv over the internet never done it before always got my stuff in big box store
Got very surprised from first class tvs to be honest way above my expectation
There is no fake news here everything is as describe no bs no games straight up and honest
Best price you can ever find by farrrrr
Great costumer service great communication great follow up!
My experience was more then great and will highly recommend them to all my friends and family and for sure will buy from FIRST CLASS TVS again
Price was good, but customer service lacking. In hindsight would have rather gone with another Co...
I am going to be EXTREMELY specific. I purchased a Samsung QN65Q80RAFXZA 65" QLED TV along with a "FIVE YEAR Warranty for $1500". My TV died 30 days prior to the warranty expired. I made a claim to CPSCentral.com THIRTY DAYS before the warranty expired. The warranty company offer me a "settlement" for $645.00 (which in NO WAY will cover the cost of a replacement TV...NOT EVEN CLOSE) First Class TVs will NOT help me recovering the $1500 in order to purchase a new TV. The warranty company is a FRAUD and First Class TVs does NOT even own up to the BOGUS warranty. I got nothing but LIP SERVICE from Jacob and Michael at First Class TVs. The CPS company could care less and even tried to get me to locate my own service. They offered my a $100 amount in order to get the TV serviced. I called Samsung.com and they told me at MINIMUM for the service call it would bel $450.00. I am still without a TV after over a month. I am 72 and retired on a fixed income. I STRONGLY say to anyone thinking about purchasing a TV from these people to STAY AWAY. I PROMISE you WILL BE SORRY.
I purchased the LG OLED65B8PUA Series 65" Class HDR UHD Smart OLED TV for 15% less than it costs on Amazon. It took a couple weeks to get here but was worth the wait. Best TV I have ever owned and there was nothing wrong with it at all. I usually do all my shopping on Amazon but First Class has better deals. I see people have complained about shipping... read the print, they say the costs right there! I recommend them for sure.
They are scammer, called for adding insurance but never ship the TV that I paid for, never reply email and phone calls.
What a great experience at First Class TV. So many times I thought I was getting a good deal it ended up as a scam. David at First Class TV was wonderful to do business with.
I placed an order online for samsung 65" tv free shipping. I created an account for processing my order. The site asks for the shipping address if different from billing. This was entered. At no time during any of this process was a notification given that an automatic cancellation would occur, if the ship to address differed from billing. The site accepted the order. And issued an order #. A few days proceeded and I went to check the status of the order. I logged into the account & it stated there was no order. I called, spoke with a woman who stated the order was cancelled. I asked why and was quickly transferred to a man, stated the manager, who is now telling me there would be a $163 ship insurance fee in order to place this order. After some difficulty explaining how misleading this is & how I never received any email notification of the cancellation. I proceeded to tell him If I never called I would never have known they weren't processing my order. He stated they tried to call me several times. The company did NOT leave any messages! How am I to know it is this company calling if the number is different from what is on the website?! After going back and forth explaining they shouldn't allow the website to place an order without these notifications, the man was now stating I was arguing. I would not deal with this company!
The TV is excellent. The shipping company used, AM trucking, left a LOT to be desired. It took numerous calls to confirm delivery and no accommodations were made for my schedule. Extremely poor customer satisfaction.
I was extremely sceptical and nervous about buying a TV that was priced so below market value. However, TV came new as described and in perfect condition. Have no idea how they are able to sell at such low price, would highly recommend.
This firm was great to do business with. I had a few questions along the way and each time they were response and accurate.
I know it's scary buying an expensive TV on eBay but these folks are legit.
Shipping times varied from ad in eBay, the confirmation, and sales call that I received afterward so it caused confusion. Promised 'white glove' service had to be coaxed out of delivery men, who just wanted to leave box just inside door after arriving beyond the latest time given in estimate.
TV works well and nothing appears to be damaged.
Everything was awesome and I would buy again from them in a flash. Knowing that, know that:
Their tracking annoying and makes them seem downright sketchy (the tracking number never did work even after delivery!)
The 75' 2018 Q9 Samsung I got was $2400 less than amazon or Best Buy. I ordered fully expecting to lean on my Amex fraud. The TV I ordered arrived in a factory sealed box in perfect condition.
The bottom of the box had some warehouse grime on it but that is my only complaint.
Also, just consider shipping to not be free. They will call wanting 'shipping insurance' as an add on. I'm pretty sure it's a uShip price they pass on to you. I bought it and did t need it; TV was still a smoking deal.
TV arrived exactly as expected, delivered within the timeframe that was given. Delivery company tested the set out of the box to ensure no defects before parting. Works perfectly. Extremely happy with my purchase and pleased with my shopping experience. Thanks!
Answer: Shipping insurance is not a scam. When you are shipping a fragile item that costs thousands of dollars it must be insured. We quote the shipping insurance afterwards so the customer can save the most money. If we included in the price you would pay much more than you would need to since shipping insurance is a variable cost. Keep in mind that after the shipping insurance you are still receiving the TV at the lowest price in the nation GUARANTEED. Its a simple concept to understand. Some customers unfortunately cannot grasp the concept but we have thousands that do and get to enjoy these great TVs and AMAZING PRICES.
Answer: Yes, you get a call after you order. I canceled the order, sounded like scammers.
