We LOVE our new custom John Lennon blanket, would highly recommend this seller to anyone... Cheers Eh...!
I've been with them about a year. I know I have good art as I sell alright on other print on demand websites. But I have yet to make a sell on FAA and it's all the more aggravating because I am paying a yearly membership. I will NOT be renewing. But you need to be careful and keep track of when your membership renews because they don't seem to alert people that they are about to be charged again. (Mark your calendars.)
This is a poorly run company. Their emails don't even get to people. It's a complete mess! They need to get their act together.
As for the string of positive 5-star reviews, I gather these are from customers, which is a good thing if customers are happy. But I suspect some sort of incentive is given to them to come here to write glowing reviews.
On the other end, as an artist, this is a site I would NOT recommend using. There are many better options. I've created a support ticket many months ago which has yet to get a response. The woman running the forum (it's kind of a mystery as to what position she holds with the site) is very snappy and standoffish. Don't trust any site where they make it an obstacle course to get in touch with support, as FAA does.
I feel I have wasted money on my membership. And it's too late to get a refund... and even if I was within the time-frame, I doubt I'd get a timely response. Seems like they're the type to wait it out until the window closes and shrug it off as "Oh well, too late!"
Fine Art America is the perfect place to give loved ones and yourself the perfect gift for any occasion.
On their website Fine Art America say "Fine Art America has the largest print-on-demand fulfillment network in the world. We have 16 manufacturing centers located in 5 countries. Each manufacturing center can ship products to any destination in the world. When you place an order, we'll automatically route your order to the nearest manufacturing center in order to minimize shipping costs and speed up delivery times." I ordered a framed print which has been dispatched by the manufacturing site in Brisbane Australia, it is on a slow truck from Brisbane to Perth and I have been charged $147 for shipping. I have asked why but they have stopped replying to my emails
We used painting of California Hills for our Christmas card this year. The quality was good on all fronts.
I ordered greeting cards from Fine Art America. They arrived quickly, were nicely packaged, and the printing was impeccable. Would definitely recommend them!
I really love my picture of mackinaw bridge and I will be ordering from fine art America again!
I was looking for a shower 36" curtain for the shower in my new shop. I was looking and found a 74" curtain I decided to use for the door to the bathroom. It turned out great, instead of having a plain door I wound up with a 'slidable" door that also helped with ventilation since my shop is not air conditioned and added to the theme of my shop that is for my classic trucks. Very pleased... think different and you'll be surprised what happens.
I have ordered a variety of items from FineArtAmerica and have always been pleased. The quality of their products lives up to my expectations and their service is excellent. I am especially pleased with a print of Great Egret at Waters Edge by Ira Marcus. It is a beautifully composed picture and the print is crisp and clear. I would happily purchase more from this website.
In my experience, FineArtAmerica connects across the ocean the lesser known gifted artist with the unknown admirer/customer. An amazingly varied and often beautiful gallery to make possible this connection - with further promise.
Prompt delivery, high quality print. Packaging excellent.
I find the site easy to navigate. Shipping was done in a timely manner, especially considering it was just before the holidays. Items I ordered were perfect, they did not disappoint.
Lovely piece of art.
Am particularly pleased with the Metal Mount. Well packaged
This website is an addiction of mine. Each work of art is available in multiple medium and many sizes. My ordering experiences have been good. Once an item arrived in less than perfect condition, but the company made it right and sent me another. Really great website and business!
Something I'd been eyeing for over a year went on sale Cyber Monday. Due to the sale I not only got the print but had them do the matting and framing for a rather large piece to go over my mantle. It was done beautifully and well wrapped and protected for shipping. I'm thrilled with how all of it looks!
My son loves the iphone cover and I love the speed it was delivered along with the excellent customer service. I will definitely buy from FineArtAmerica again
I enjoy looking at original art on the FAA site, and when I received an email that mentioned shower curtains, I had an aha! Moment. I needed light, pretty curtains for my living room window and two matching shower curtain panels are perfect for this purpose. I found the right image and ordered these and two other curtains. They arrived on time and are just what I wanted. The experience of ordering was easy and efficient.
I ordered a blanket with Jeff Goldblum on it for my daughter for Christmas.
The blanket was well made and the image was very crisp.
My daughter loved it and I will purchase from them again.
Easy to place an order. Everything came as ordered. Nice quality shower curtain. Not cheaply made.
Answer: FAA is a Terrible Company and I think most if not ALL 5 star reviews are Fake! I was a member there for 4 years and it was all downhill. Stayed as long as I did because I was still making sales. But they WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY to block me from any Features or posting in communities. Order from them and you'll be very disappointed. Shipping costs are very high and if you want to return something they'll make you pay shipping AGAIN! The quality of the work they ship is also disgraceful. They even use a fake Corporate Address. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!
Answer: I have been a very loyal and outspoken fan of Fine Art America until I had to deal with their customer service department regarding two defective pillows I received. I have tried calling. I have tried leaving messages. I have tried emailing. I have not gotten an accurate and clear response to my inquiry on these pillows. So, yes, now I am posting a negative review which is quite unfortunate. I will also go to the site you mentioned and post my review there also. Fine Art America needs to up their customer service quality, immensely.
Answer: You answered your own question - you haven't done ANYTHING. How do you expect to be found? You have to advertise. There is plenty of information in the forums on the site on how to do that. If you upload and sit, that's all your doing. You have to tell people you exist. The site only prints the work. This is also the wrong place to ask this, ask in the site and you'll get a flood of answers. I also can't say much here because i need to see the quality of your work, is it well presented? Do you have keywords, descriptions, are you adding work all the time? Do you have social connections and so on. Its a lot of work. ---Mike Savad http://www.MikeSavad.com
Answer: Technically there is a phone number for customers when you log out. While not ideal, it might work if you call that number. Otherwise use tech support and be sure to use a gmail address.
