I was somehow signed up for 401k through Fidelity and sadly didn't notice until it was deducted from my paycheck. I had to get the deductions to stop(hopefully) and will be taxed on my refund on something I never agreed to. My payroll has no idea how this happened which is also very concerning.
Today I spent 1 hour an forty minutes on the phone with two customer representative who were trying to restore on-line access to my account. Earlier in the day I had spent about 40 minutes on the phone with another customer service rep, who had erroneously claimed he fixed the problem. After all of this, they said the only people who could help me had gone home for the day and to call back. (Most of the time I spent on the phone with customer service the people who can allegedly help me were there).
Fidelity must not want you to make trades on iPhone or iPads. They just changed the app, making it impossible to trade. Live streaming does not work while trying to make a trade. The older version worked good, the new apps makes your device freeze, and you have long delays. I've spent hours on the phone with technical support. It is not my device, it's their app. I would not recommend them, if you want to make trades yourself. They must not want clients.
Good day I would like to leave a message regarding the security in the Loch logan Mall waterfront I assume his name is Vuyo he is a very friendly and kind hearted person if all the security guards where like him the mall would be so much safer...Kindly find my review for his service I'm at peace when he is around.

Fidelity has the absolute worst customer service and once they get your money, good luck getting it back. My Dad was killed in an accident in 2017, and here we are in July of 2022 and I'm still fighting to get his 403B that he named me the beneficiary of. I reported them to the BBB last week and since then I've spent more than 2 hours of the phone with fidelity (most of that time on hold) and then after insanely long hold time they hang up the phone. This company is outrageous and I hope anyone that loses a family member doesn't have to go through the hell this place has put me through trying to get what my Dad left for me.
Highly disappointed in these guys. I thought they were genuine untill i started to see how shady they were when i dealt with thier terrible customer service. I lost few thousand bucks to them
Their website did not work. It was 2 days. I called and in 30min I was transferred to 4 people. 46 min later someone puts in a 'work ticket' for me. No expectation of outcome, no idea if I will ever be able to use the website. Pathetic. Stay away, go to ANOTHER investment firm. Edward jones is great, and TRowe price is good too.
Stay away from them at all costs, they took 100 from my IRA without disclosing, disclaimer or anything in regards to the 100 fee they took from my account. I was looking to roll over 70k total in assets between brokerage and retirement accounts to consolidate with them, instead they stole 100 from my IRA and will not refund it. No documents saying I would incur a fee for the transactions whether it was 1 dollar or 1 million. This sets back my distribution on my end 100 plus the 100 they took. Don't make my mistake by using this company.
Great customer service but their ATP conditional/composite orders are impossible to set up. You cannot set an OTOCO so that your buy is a trailing stop loss (to avoid buying stock on a free fall), then one of your conditional sells is based on the purchase price to protect your investment. Also you often want to repeat a conditional trade sequence after completion and no capability to do that, you have to retype that form (5 minutes) -- try that when you want to do that multiple times a day for 10 different stocks! It is just an excercise in assure failure to place the orders that you want.
If you go through one of the Fidelity offices, they have commissioned sales men who will tell you they will only charge 0.07% per quarter. This is a lie. They charge your entire portfolio 1.3% per month for investing $*******. 00. They will tell you they will NOT charge you ANY fees to make trades. This is a lie. They charge you fees each time they make a trade to "manage" your investments. You will notice that when the stock market goes down $1,300 that day and you look at YOUR portfolio, you will see that YOU lost OVER $10,000 for that single day. Buyer beware.
I had a mobile check deposit available to my account when I first opened my account with fidelity. I made a couple of deposits via mobile deposit. Later, they changed my account to only mail them the check. I was not notified nor given any explanation of the sudden change, which I don't appreciate. For that reason, I will not recommend Fidelity to anyone.
Have you been wondering if its possible to get money back from fidelity? Yes its 100% possible because i recently got my money back with the assistance of (isomrobert24 aol com) and his legal team, all i did was provide proofs of transactions to backup my report and i got my total balance back. I hope this helps someone before its removed.
I deposited a check on July 17th and when my funds became available on July 25th and I tried to withdraw they put a restriction on my account making me wait an extra day to get to my funds. I spoke on the phone with customer service and got transferred 5 different times before I spoke to the correct person. Their customer service reps are no help at all. You will be better off banking somewhere else.
Been a customer with them since 2016, honestly couldn't tell you why! Internet is CONSTANTLY going in and out, AT LEAST 15 times a day. If spectrum wouldn't have did us dirty, we would be with them. However, we may make the switch after all because this is absolutely ridiculous. For the price we pay our internet should work! Extremely disappointed. Another customer about to leave…
Not happy about the newest addition… the chart sucks… doesn't even let you see what you want if you open multiple indicators. And if you zoom in to try to see it. You get locked in and can't move off of the chart… stupid!
I am not interested in these people. I find them very unhelpful and worthless. I can not wait until I can severe ties with these people. God I would not give these people one dime ever.
Fidelity shut down my account and banned me for life because I was an active trader. They said I was costing them too much in commisions when there were no commision fees. There was no warning about overtrading, only a shutdown. I will never use them again and I am in shock about that this even happened.
I went to Ameritrade and love it there. No Issues.
Every written interaction with Fidelity will take a week at a miniumum. If you have any mistakes in your form (which are very complicated) it will be a week before someone notices, then the process starts all over, so back to another week before someone looks at it again. This is the actual signature line from the customer support rep I am working with "> > Please allow 1-3 business days for email and voicemail responses." so clearly if you have a question to ask, its going to be a while. Actual response times seem to be closer to a week. I've been trying to get my inheritance from them for 3 months with no luck, I am being held hostagel.
Fidelity is incompetent as an investment company, or commiting fraud. I wanted to rollover my investments to J.P.Morgan Chase on May 1,2023. The employee insisted that I had to do a RMD, which is a distribution or withdrawal, which would cause an unnecessary Tax event for me this year. I explained that the regulation had been changed in December and I would not meet the age requirement for two years. He had to send my request for MY OWN MONEY to a special review team. It has been three weeks and the unnecessary review is still not complete. I should not have to teach them about current regulations, that is their job. I should be able to TRUST that they are up to date with regulations. I wonder how many unsuspecting folks have been made to follow the outdated regulations since Dec., 2022.
Easy application to open account. It's June and I tried to open this account since March and they are giving me the run around. It's frustrating. I went into the office 4 times to submit the same documents. I enjoy the virtual chats, but they lost docs that I put into the mail box and no one contacts me to solve a non-issue they are making larger than life. I have a nonprofit tough to get and they are not accepting IRS and State of Florida Official website info, and so I think they're research isn't great. In fact, they don't want to help me by downloading documents to verify my identity. It's getting to be a bit much. Hope I can hang on and get in? I legitimately can't believe they are ignoring my social and other tell alls about a person. I faxed a supervisor today in hopes of progress. Sheesh!
Answer: Expect to wait on hold for 15mnto 30mn and get nowhere when you get someone on the phone.
