I've had my money with Fidelity for nearly 30 years. They might not be what they were back in the heyday with Peter Lynch and Magellan but they are still a good and trustworthy place to manage your money. Every mutual fund and bond fund you can think of. I also have a bank account with them too.
To complain,I have to fill in tick boxes. If I tick other, they can't deal with it.It is impossible to send a secure message.
Their costs have gone up to £90 pa for small investors.Have spent a morning trying to close account online, impossible. I have now sent them snail mail letter, hope I don't lose any more money during the wait.Small investors not welcome.
Level of experience and knowledge varies between agents. Kind of unreliable since you cannot predict who is going to take care of your call. Surprisingly much lower customer service compared to their competitors.
Fidelity investments! Do NOT bank/ invest with this company. Ex. "you transfer funds to your account and while waiting for your funds to clear called customer service numerous of times AND gotten hung up on. To the last representative I spoke with told me "My account has been closed and their holding my funds for 10 days. Are You Serious? I have bills to pay and it's the beginning of the month. Stay away from fidelity TRUST
My husband passed in January 2021. I am still trying to get information (August 2022) each time I call them they need different information. I have sent more information through the mail than I feel comfortable with. I will never use this company again.
Been with Fidelity for over 25 years. Wanted my account converted into a trust. Took over a month and 4 trips to a Fidelity store. Major hassle. End result I asked them to do one thing for me in 25 years and they screwed it up. I bet they never screw up the process of getting their fees. If I could I'd be gone. Go with Vanguard.
The computer at customer service incapable to answer basic questions. It does not understand P/E!
The customer service reps don't write or read English well. He does not understand there is a difference between sector and industry.
You ask a question via email, the reply is always the same "Due to currently high volumes, response times to general questions may be longer than usual"
I initially set up an account for options trading and sent money into the account. The mo n ey seem to take for ever to get posted. Fidelity stated that once the initial setup with my bank was established that funds would clear a lot faster. This was not the case. I had the same delay in posting funds for my second deposit. Robinhood fund transfers are the next day. I closed out my Fidelity account. Not for me
On Thursday I transferred money to Fidelity Investment they told me that they won't margin for my buying until Friday.
Today they told me they will have to hold my money until Monday.
It's not a trust investment company to invest with. What U have read about Fidelity Investment customer reviews 100% Truth. STOP! Don't invest with Fidelity. Today is Monday they told they are not gonna margin my account for the money transferred last week. Today I have transferred more money and they won't let me buy even buying with own cash. I in process of fix this problem. STOP! Fidelity is not a recommend company for investment. These 5 stars rating may come from its employee.
Need some customer service but couldn't get any. It used to be good but not anymore. Now, I'm just writing bad reviews until someone answer the phone.
P.S. It has been two hours on the phone with no "human" assistance. Let see how many reviews I can write.
This company is easily the worst I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service. They have jerked me and my family around for more than two years when we have tried to withdraw money to pay for college expenses. Each time they have given us different steps to solve it or forwarded us to someone who didn't actually get the job done. The last time we called them to withdraw money from an education UTMA they literally told us we should leave the money in there and that its not supposed to be taken out. So, what in the hell am I supposed to do When I can't even use my own money in there to pay education expenses. They don't give a $#*! about you. I had to find another way to pay off 5,000 dollars in debt. Easily a 1 star company.
The support was very patient with me throughout the process of swapping VND back to BTC and also assisted in granting me the required access to sell quickly on the Futurefees platform
I am very satisfied and will campaign heavily for my colleagues to use Futurefees in their crypto trading. Been with the company for over a year now and their support system and general services have been top-notch all the years.
Friends I advise you use this platform
www.Futurefees.com
After long time going from one Company to another FINALLY I went to Fidelity Investments in Roslyn < Long Island and open up brokerage account. What a great success. I received very worm welcome as soon as I enter the office and I was escorted to Mr. Joseph T. Santiillo,Financial Representative of Fidelity. He exceed my expectations in every way. Mr. J.T.Santillo was very professional, well educated and customer orientated. He opened up an account for me in no time and helped me to get familiar with the process of using it.If you need a Financial Representative for any need just go to Fidelity. You will be very happy. Mictor Montenegro
Very good service. Good quality products. Fast shipping. Minimal sizing issues but I guess it can be corrected easily. I will buy again
At 25th of Aug I tried making a payment, didn't go through b cause insufficient, that's fine. However when I hear a different moron spewing the same buritcrat crap about waiting on having my card registered, it was and no it's not for some reason. I tried making another pay the 8th of September and I had finds. But I'm given more crap talk about wait, wait, and wait...I've been waiting since the 25 th of August, been trying to bend over backwards for these morons again and again and again! Is it incompetence or stupidity? Cause right now I lable the work force of fidelity as both.(Special ed)
I opened an account at Fidelity after years of bad experience at Charles Schwab. This company is just as bad. I have been on the phone for 1 hour, mostly on hold, trying to get a simple question answered. Nobody knows anything; any question you ask, they say "let me put you on hold for a brief second." Of course it's not a second, nor is it brief. And when I finally did get a person who knew something about the problem I was having, he was unable to solve it. If you open an account here, you're on your own with the website. Forget about customer support.
After denying me access to my investments, and I got no response from their support, I reached out to JURIS RESOLVE. Com who got back my money in under a week I'm glad I'll never use fidelity investments again.
I recently attempted to establish a new checking account for my funds at Fidelity and they told me they would deposit micro deposits for confirmation within 1-3 business days, they failed. After many attempts I finally received an intelligent chat person who walked me through a service that took 5 minutes that was never offered online and none of the other 5 people or so I chatted with made an effort instead advising keep waiting for micro deposits. So now I am waiting for a pending transfer to be deleted and it is 6 days later and Fidelity can't delete a stupid micro deposit order they never should have promoted and instead through insane bureaucracy it takes 7 days to delete a pending order or so they say and today a stock that zoomed I could not buy due to their immensely stupid assistance. We shall see
if I can add an account on the 7th day if as promised a pending order halting all changes is finally deleted.Horrendously bad customer service and I would advise everyone to completely avoid using Fidelity or if you ever need assistance you will be truly very very sorry.
Been a custome of Fidelity for over 3 decades. The service has been exemplary, always following up, and solving complex situations. My son has been Fidelity customer for two years. He also like their service very much. Now that have local offices, it is easy to get checks made, get Notary Service, enjoy fresh ground coffee, and interact with the pleasant personnel, all free.
I have been trying to get a hold of a representative. All I get when I call numerous Fidelity phone numbers is put on hold. I don't have the time to sit on hold for these long times. And I am too important for this crap. They should hire new people to cover these wait times. Because of their terrible no-show customer service I moved $500,000 to another broker. Now I will remove the rest of my funds to another broker. Guess they don't mind losing customers and money. What a joke.
Answer: Expect to wait on hold for 15mnto 30mn and get nowhere when you get someone on the phone.
