The reviews indicate a predominantly negative perception of the company's reputation, particularly regarding its delivery services. Customers frequently express frustration over significant delays, misdelivery of packages, and inadequate customer support, often describing the service as unreliable and unresponsive. Positive aspects are notably absent, with many reviewers highlighting a lack of accountability and poor communication from the company. This consistent pattern of dissatisfaction suggests a need for FedEx to address operational inefficiencies and enhance customer service practices to restore trust and improve overall customer experience.

It baffles me that a FedEx driver would deliver a package that clearly displays a correct delivery address to a completely wrong address. And that the driver would leave the package on the dock in the back of the building at the wrong address (which is two blocks away on a different street). The person who runs the front desk at the building happened to spot the package before it was stolen, thankfully, and called me. She told me this happens frequently with FedEx. I contacted the company that shipped my package via FedEx and urged them to switch to UPS.
My delivery was going to be late because of a wrong address. The address was never wrong. I checked and my address is correct everywhere. Then Fed Ex posts that the address was updated at 5:02pm yet it was only 4:25pm... ultimately i dont get my gift in time and i canceled my order from the company because of fed ex... I think the fed ex guys are just lazy and they don't want to deliver everything in the truck because I can't believe they are this stupid.
Absolutely useless trying to talk to someone to help dispute a charge, for whatever reason the company continues to send me letters for a charge for something I never received, when speaking to representative they told me to dispute it through email, third time recieving this letter and still nobody has answered my email to help dispute this charge, this final letter is threatening to take it to a third party collection agency that I will be charged for.
Got hung up on twice when trying to get help w tracking
When I request a manager or supervisor said none was avail
I had a 40lb box of meat delivered to my apartment building in which the box clearly had a perishable sticker visible to Fed Ex. They never rung my bell to let me know they were here and left it in an unsecured area in 90° F weather. After three phone calls to customer service I was finally told the truth that no one was coming nor was I getting a call back. I work in customer service and I would never treat a customer this way. My meat sat downstairs for five hours. A family member brought it up for me.
Literally has lost thousands of dollars of products in last 2 weeks. A full motor, Stereo items etc. They should have to reimburse the customers for lost packages and hassles, calling every day. They are the worst company I wish non of my suppliers would ever ship from them. They dont care about you or your packages
I have never had issues with FedEx until this year. This company is extremely disorganized, you can tell that their staff is incredibly untrained and unmotivated to do their jobs. They constantly give you misinformation and information that doesn't make sense. I have been trying FOR A MONTH to obtain reimbursement for a lost package, and they have made me file 3 DIFFERENT CLAIMS. They have made me file a claim as a third party, deny it, and THEN tell me that the claim was denied because I am a third party. Why couldn't they say that BEFORE letting me file the claim and wait 3 weeks? It's sad because thE staff is probably getting paid really badly, so they are unmotivated, they don't care about their jobs, and just read the 3 lines that they ask them to read to customers. I blame the upper management for this. If you want a reliable service with quality customer service, DO NOT DO FEDEX.
I live on major highway. They still threw my packages out anywhere. I never receive package from fed ex. Shame on you do your job!
For the life of me, I don't see how this company is in business. I can honestly say that 90% of the deliveries I get from FedEx are late. How do warehouses not look at the horrible reviews that FedEx has and not use another carrier? Maybe FedEx needs to do some house cleaning and hire someone from Amazon or UPS so that they can learn how to be on time. FedEx by far has the worst service of any small package carrier and needs to be put on the back burner. Sorry for the rant but I am completely sick and tired of late deliveries every time FedEx is the carrier.
Ordered a package on August 13th that was suppose to be delivered on August 16th. The driver took it to an apartment complex which was already the mistake because my address says house. The neighbor actually told the driver that the package that they were trying to deliver no one by that name lived there. The driver put it back on the truck and marked the package as delivered. When I called, they told me my package was in Michigan City and that they will get it to me by that Friday. It is know Tuesday, August 23rd and still no package. As I called FedEx to tell them that is till haven't received my package. They tell me that the package says delivered and that I need to contact the merchant. I am very disappointed with the services that FedEx provide and no vendors should be using them as a trucking service. I still haven't been giving any type apology or anything for my trouble. We as customers who order online except our packages on the dates that we order them especially if we pay the extra money for it to delivered on time or by a specific time. There is no way I should be still looking for my package when I paid the extra money to receive it within two days.
Every single time I receive a package through fedex my package is destroyed. I mean it's like somebody is purposely checking my merchandise the package I received today it's a wonder how my items where still inside. I held it upside down on my bed and everything just tumble out. You have to be kidding me if this is they way their employees are handling peoples things. I'm located in East Texas check these business and employees Jesus! Also I should add the driver didn't even deliver my packages to my door if so I would have posted a picture of the driver but unfortunately they dropped both boxes at my mailbox for anyone to pick up as you can see in the picture with the mailbox the damaged side was facing the street so when I did pick them up I wasnt really pay attention
Terrible customer service. I received a delicate part in the mail from the shipper. It was packed well and there was not a single issue. It was shipped not via FedEx. I changed my mind and decided to return it (it had to be shipped at my cost). The closest place to me was FedEx so I went with them. It was packaged the same way as it came to me. I even put more packing paper so it didn't move around. I get an email few days later from the company (that I shipped the part back to) with pictures of crashed box. Very clear that something heavy fell on top of it.
Filed a claim with FedEx in 4/2022. Included detailed pictures of the damage and packaging and protective packaging.
The claim was denied with 48hrs.
Called and spoke to a supervisor who was not very helpful and said it was not protected enough. I tried to explain that the damage is obviously caused by improper shipping or securing of the packages at the facility or on the truck. There was not convincing him. I offered to send more detailed pictures from the receiving business proving that the package was in fact well packed and part was protected. He stated no problem. So I obtained the pictures and submitted them. No answer for almost 1.5 months. Called back. They claimed they did not receive any pictures. Resent again. Denied. I paid extra for protection and insurance. The clerk at the desk examined the box before taping it and said nothing about "poor or inadequate" packaging or protection of the product. Of course a small box no matter how well packaged with get crashed by something bigger and heavier. The box looked like a truck drove over half of it. But FedEx won't admit it.
FedEx just lost several customers for life. I have an extensive family and friends network. None will be shipping with them over $200 insurance they would not pay. Good luck FedEx!
My wife and I ordered two new iPhones from spectrum mobile. The box was delivered on Wednesday July 14th and because my wife works from home this wasn't a problem. So when the package arrived she answered the door and signed for it. When she got inside she noticed the tape looked like it had been peeled back and it seemed light. She opened it up and sure enough it was empty!
We called FedEx right away and they open a claim, we also called spectrum right away and they opened a claim. After a month of going back and forth they denied our claim because they want a police report. Well the milwaukee police can't write up a report because they can't determine if it was stolen in milwaukee or ANYWHERE ELSE it may have been and since it came from Texas we don't know.
Now fedex says they have very good ways to find out who stole it but won't tell us anything. Spectrum says they will know where it is when someone tries to turn it on because all phones have IP addresses so I dont know why you would want to steal one because you can't use it!
So in conclusion fedex won't help us and they are the ones who stole the phones and even though we are long time spectrum customers they aren't doing anything to help us ether so both companies have terrible customer service and I wouldn't recommend ever using ether one!
I was charged $183.97 instead of $32.95 for a shipment. I called the customer service three times. First time, the lady said the invoice was not completed yet so call again. Second time, the lady hung up on me when I explained my problem to her. This second lady was rude and condescending from the very beginning. Third time, they said they would email me regarding my issue and everything else will be communicated via email only. I called to get help not to email your stupid company. At least the third call I was able to know that Fedex messed up on their part and charged me more than they should have. Scummy company feeding on regular people. I honestly do not even expect to get the email at this point.
1. The delivery manager feature does not work. Constant errors. Delivery instructions not saving.
2. Drivers do not follow delivery instructions and constantly leave packages in the wrong place. This happens because FedEx has nothing in place to hold drivers accountable. File a complaint every time a package is not left at your door, but you left instructions for it to be.
3. Drivers will refuse to deliver packages to certain apartments complexes. There is a driver in Berkeley CA that refuses to deliver packages to certain buildings. You will get a could not deliver one day after the other because the driver either doesn't know how to deliver to the Apt building or just refuses to. This happens on the weekends only and has consistently happened for 4 months. FedEx has no way to track this or hold drivers accountable. I have actually had to try and not have my packages delivered over the weekend because of this.
4. Customer service often does not know what they are doing and are providing the wrong information. Customer service cannot read your delivery notes, but many of them don't know this and will tell you you left no delivery notes. So frustrating.
5. "Opening an investigation" regarding your package is not an actual thing, but just a ways for customer service to temporarily make you feel better about multiple delays or delivery drivers refusing you deliver your packages. Don't believe them it's BS.
What happened to FedEx during the Pandemic? They have not been the same sense…
So this is about the 3rd time in a row when fedex claims to have delivered a package to my front door but then i open my door to an empty hallway. I check other apartments surrounding mine to no avail. FedEx is the worst when it comes to delivering in the correct spot. UPS is way better. Never once had an issue with them. Even the USPS is better than FEDEX.
How much $#*! can one company lose. 5k worth if $#*! in 1 month. Gone. Can't even deliver damn cat food to the right address.
Answer: Based on my experience and other reviews I have read, FEDEX is looking to put itself out of business. I will be very happy when Amazon buys them for a discount.
Answer: Heck no. Its a shame the are called a company. Don't even deliver on time the slowest ever
Answer: FEDEX just lost my package and don't have a clue as to what happened. A real bunch of bums
Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
