I have used FedEx exclusively for the last 4 years. I send boxes up north every few months. I have noticed that the clerks in the shipping stores like inside your local Walmart are great about giving out coupons for your NEXT visit. Problem is they do NOT give them to you when you go to ship. I had this happen with "Charlie" at a local store here. And it's happened more than just a few times. This time I sent a complaint into their corporate office and never heard a word. So, I will be changing to UPS. Not that much further away and I have had coupons in the past with them and they did honor them.
I have shipped and received lots and lots of packages with FedEx over the years and overall they are a great shipping company. Not to say everything has been perfect every time but if you do enough business with any shipping company there will be a few problems that arise from time to time. It just comes with the territory.
In my experience FedEx has the best record for being on time, (they are hardly ever late and when they are it's usually due to a weather situation, hurricane, tornado, etc. that is beyond their control) delivering to the correct address, and least amount of lost or damaged items of any carrier that I have dealt with. Now that the post office has switched to their insane dimensional weight pricing for all zones, making it far to expensive to ship anything of size with them, FedEx will get even more of my business.
As long as it's affordable I will continue using them for years to come.
Look my issue is with your routing of things via sydney where for months now you let things sit there for a week. If I'm paying a premium then I expect to have my stuff sent on the direct flight (which I know happens... someone from the same place to the same city sent 3 days after and received 4 days before). Stop routing things via sydney then giving an estimated delivery date you know will be way off, or just sort your $#*! in Sydney. You're insulting your customers by leaving their items in the depot there motionless for a week
I shipped a package, clearly asking for express shipping. The woman at the counter assured me it would be deliver the next day, tops by the end of the day. Well, it's been nearly a week now and my package hasn't moved. I called multiple times client services but no one can give me a clear answer as to why my package hasn't been delivered yet. Mind you, the travel time where I wanted my package delivered is about 45 minutes away by car.
Never using FedEx again.
Employee left a "How am I doing?" note upon delivery. She was great.
However FedEx site is so bad that I wasted 15min and could not find the page to rate her.
Also, their charges are so high that I always ask merchants if FedEx is used and refuse to purchase anything. This time I had no choice but when I do FedEx will not see my business.
I ordered a package Saturday specifically because it was free 3 day shipping and I needed it ASAP. Was supposed to be delivered today. It's been out for delivery for the last 16 hours and now it's delayed. I called customer service and the agent could barely speak English let alone help me. Told him I'd never use FedEX again and his response was "have a nice day". Screw your service.
A package that was sent for Noon delivery today 12/18/20 which has been at the fedex office since 9 am is now going to be delivered Monday. There is no way to speak to a human about it due to their automated system hanging up on you. Time to boycott fedex. Use UPS or the postal service. Terrible service!

I never have a delivery issue and everything is delivered as instructed along with a friendly driver.
I am just not too sure why every time something is delivered, FedEx sends me a delivery confirmation of my driveway.

Ever. Estimated my package at 91.82 and charged me without my permission or knowledge 414.00 dollars been trying to resolve for days and been hung up on 3 times and left on hold for 45 minutes. Useless company and they lie like a rug would not give them one star for any part
If I only there were a way to give negative stars. I am appalled by my experience with FedEx. I will absolutely never willingly use this trash company. I am still awaiting a package that was shipped nearly 4 weeks ago, and it has been sitting in my city for nearly 3. Terrible customer service, lie after lie, extremely poor coordination, etc. I am exhausted. Save your money and use USPS. Never buy from a company that ships via FedEx either.
Im receiving a package. 3 days now been stuck in transit... and i live 3 hours from shipper. FedEx is an absolute waste of time and money. Can never get in contact with a live person. Plus the tracking number given doesn't provide any information. Screw you fedex!
Moved to my new place, I ordered over 30 items from Amazon. All of them delivered perfectly fine by different couriers. Only 2 items got into troubles, and both items delivered by FedEX courier!
- one of the items: after 2 weeks waiting suddenly I have received email saying your item undelivered and refund will be processed. I called AMAZON they do not know what happened!
- the other one: the delivery man rang the bell, I opened the door! Normally they bring them up to the flat door, but after 5 min waiting he didn't come and I went down stairs no parcel and nobody! After 2 hrs I received an email saying try to deliver and unsuccessful!
I live in a apartment and always neighbor take others posts/parcels, open the door! I was home and how un earth 2 items undelivered!?

In the past two weeks only two out of seven deliveries have been ontime. They seem to sit without movement for long periods of time. Not sure what their protocol is for deliveries. Customer service doesn't provide any additional information beyond what you can see on the website.
I have been expecting a package and paid for fast delivery. It has been three days and Fedex can not get me my package. Always with an excuse that they dial and no one open. It is like they are playing with client. The deliver guy does not even bother to wait for 1 min for the door to be open.
When you call them always same waste of time.

FedEx is by far the worst delivery service available. I've had multiple packages in the past year shipped overnight and they never arrive the next day like promised. This ranges from small personal packages to large business packages. It never fails that FedEx doesn't follow through. In the same time period I've been getting cases of wine shipped from CA by UPS (30+ cases) and they are very consistent and almost always arrive on time.
Plus UPS will let me track the delivery more precisely and offers options when I'm out of town through their mychoice app. To put it bluntly FedEx sucks. Even the USPS is better at delivering packages. I won't willingly use FedEx until they change their practices. They've caused too many problems with late deliveries and they don't care at all because it keeps happening.
I ordered some items on 12/4/20. I got a message that it's on the way via FedEx! The tracking number said it was going to be delivered on Friday 12/11/20. There has been nothing but delays after delays for a week! Now it's 12/18/20, I still have not gotten my package!
But I have been seeing FedEx trucks all throughout my neighborhood!
I shipped two packages together they got separated. Paid the over 800 to ship bowling equipment together for the 2 day shipping. One shows up a day late the other has yet to show up three days later. The tournament is over the bowler had use someone else's equipment because all of theirs were in the bag that I have yet to receive. Their weekend is ruined and I have to go home in a few days and still don't know where over a 1000 dollars worth of bowling equipment is. Even with a refund it won't take back how much better the bowler would of done with his own equipment. So thanks fedex for screwing what could've been 9 great games for them.
We have been waiting for almost a week for our package. No worries if it is a day late or so, but at this point, it has disappeared. Shipping updates are at least 3 days past due, showing it "Out for delivery" on Wednesday, and today is Saturday. Supposed to be a birthday gift. No one at Fed Ex can help us. Never use them if you have a choice!
Driver looks terrible doesn't wear a FEDEX uniform, runs up and down our halls, like he just robbed the place. This is a quite apartment building. We tried to contact FedEx, but you can't reach anyone that will help or connect us to the local hub. Very disappointed in the customer service and this driver.
Shipped one item ground. Per FedEx, it would arrive in 5-7 business days. It was shipped 4 WEEKS ago and still has not made it to its destination. Current tracking status says:
"No scheduled delivery date available at this time."
"Scheduled delivery: Pending"
Second item shipped as Next Day. For the past 3 days, the status gets updated in the morning with:
"On FedEx vehicle delivery"
Then, later in the day a new status is added saying:
"Delivery exception"
"Future delivery requested"
I contacted FedEx about both of these. In both cases they have been unable to explain why the packages are not being delivered. They say they are "investigating" the shipment, but give no updates on why the packages are not getting delivered.
What a waste of my time and what an inconvenience! Very disappointed and upset.
Answer: Based on my experience and other reviews I have read, FEDEX is looking to put itself out of business. I will be very happy when Amazon buys them for a discount.

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
