I was told my package would be here yesterday I sat in the house all day waiting never showed. I then spoke to customer service & they assured me I would have it the next morning. Was supposed to receive two different packages of computer equipment for a job I'm starting on Monday. Received one of two, then called customer service to ask about the other one. First I was told that it was still in Memphis and that someone would call me back to advise on delivery date. No one ever called me, so I called again this afternoon and was told that the package was at my local facility (more than 10 hours from Memphis) being sorted. Service rep said he would have someone text me to let me know what time on Saturday I could pick it up at that local facility. Never received a text, so checked online status tonight. Still shows a projected delivery with today's date, even though it's midnight (good luck with that). It also shows that the package didn't leave Memphis until 5:41pm this afternoon. So much for the misinformation about it being at my local facility this afternoon.
In addition to the frustrations above, all reps and one manager had heavy accents and were very difficult to understand. Why not have fully fluent reps to make the communications more efficient? Oh, I guess that's because you would have to pay them more.
I would never use FedEx myself; this is the second example of late deliveries and contradictory answers/tracking info I've had with them in two months. But I have no control, since the shipping party opted to use FedEx.

Update Saturday night: So, not only is my package 32 hours late, it has been sitting at a local facility FOR 14 HOURS. Just SO helpful. During that 14 hours, why not put it on a truck and get it to me in a timely manner, or at least get it to the final destination facility so that I could have picked it up. I have called NUMEROUS times today to try to get updates on my so-called "case," but have not received any helpful answers. FedEx, you are far and away the worst carrier out there. WHAT A JOKE.

I went to FedEx store today to make 2 copies for $0.30. The agent asked me to insert a credit card which I did. It was a big surprise the machine took $10.00 instead of $0.30. I talked to the agent and he said you will get a refund immediately once the receipt is printed. After the receipt was printed there was no refund. The agent said sometimes it takes 2 minutes. After 2 minutes the agent said call FedEx customer service for refund. I called FedEx customer service and they said I need to call the store because they can do nothing. I called the store agent again and he said again that I need to call FedEx customer service. I told him I already did. The agent kept repeating that I need to call FedEx customer service although I told him many times I already did. Then the agent said I need to call my bank to confirm that FedEx took only $0.30 not $10.00. I called my bank and I have told FedEx took $10.00. It's stealing to take $10.00 instead of $0.30. I will never do any business with FedEx and write on my Facebook this story to everyone I know. I filed a complaint with my bank to take back my money. It's really bad reputation for FedEx
FedEx delivered a package in June 17th, 2021 which was a PS5 game console ordered through Walmart. The package was not delivered correctly and left in a unsafe area. The package was also signed by the delivery driver whom did not follow directions to deliver the package to my door where my ring camera is located. I have reached out to FedEx multiple times to only be told "I will receive a call back". No call back to me has been made, and I am getting nowhere with this "investigation" of my package. If you are expecting a delivery of significant value I highly recommend ordering it through a company that does not use FedEx as 3rd party vendor to deliver your package.

On arriving at st petersburg FL distribution center from Minnesota on monday June 21, the driver for my route told me delivery was delayed an additional 2 days as it was noted that a $#*!ing COUCH was lying on top of my box, and had crushed it. So mgmt wanted to inspect the contents before delivering. Please read that again. A COUCH. WAS. ON. TOP. SMH.
Inside was a product ive had to source 3 $#*!ing times because, you guessed it, each time the box came crushed. And this isn't something bought off of a shelf. It is a dash, no longer in production even in aftermarket, for a 1966 c10 fleetside. It was in decent /good and restorable condition prior to shipping. And these take months to find, before purchase and shipping, and always from an individual seller.
The first 1 was sent through UPS. They sent it back to seller and refunded shipping and damages. The 2nd and 3rd were with FedEx. See attached pics. Its truly absurd.
FedEx: your business is straightforward- shipping. Getting it from point A to point B, unmolested and intact. But you cant do any of that anymore. And rather than be proactive and remedy this, you'd rather mouth "but covid-19" and cry "Amazon took all our jobs". Nope. You are giving them all of your customers.

If it were possible to give FedEx less than one star, I would. We order a lot of merchandise for our home-based business and UPS is our go-to shipping company. Some of our suppliers use FedEx because they are cheaper, but they consistently damage things and the majority of orders are delayed for one reason or another. These problems were happening pre-Covid, so they need to stop using that as an excuse.
People if you want expedited passport service DO NOT use FedEx, they will charge your more than the cost of the passport itself. For a regular expedited passport with the card will cost $110.00 book + $30.00 card + $60.00 expedited = $200.00 payable to the US Department of State. FedEx will charge you an ADDITIONAL $217.00, for what? And this is for renewal. That is the mystery! How they get away with it is beyond me. Use the post office to mail it and it will only cost less than $8.00. I think it's a rip off.
Package tracking on web site works about 50% of the time. Notorious for holding shipments in warehouses until they have a full truck, regardless of the ship date. I have waited over 2 weeks to receive orders in the past. They don't care one whit about the end customer.
Personally, if I have a choice, I will NEVER choose FedEx. I do my best to avoid companies that insist on using them as well and will gladly pay a dollar or two more to get my product within a few days versus whenever FedEx feels like it.
This isn't the first time this has happened. We don't know when out package will arrive, and it's not something I want to chance leaving on my door step. First was promised to be delivered on the 17th. Then it reads pending, later in the evening it read delivery on the 19th. Woke up this morning to find it has been pushed to the 20th. Fingers crossed it actually shows up at my door on the 20th. Even if they deliver it to my neighbors again I would be fine with that this time. JUST WANT MY $#*!! I would rather drive cross country, then use fed-ex again.

Your customer service center absolutely has no clue what they are doing. They lie to customers when a claim is opened and never call back. They know package was delivered to the wrong address and lie Saying they would retrieve it. I myself had to do your job for you and after telling you where my package is... you send me to a survey about my experience. Here is your experience. I'm suing you for knowing where my items are and withhold them from a customer. For not having a manager on staff to handle upset customers that gave called for 3 days straight. For escalating to the point after 6 calls today and sent to surveys telling me I need to calm down or your hanging up. No wonder ups is better. You all suck.
The service is very poor
The service is very poor. I sent an envelope from the States to Canada to arrive in 24 hours. I paid $60 for this shipment and here is the output:
- The package arrived in 16 days after a ton of calls and emails.
- Each call has different info and outputs based on the customer service representative level of training and mode.
- No tracking online!
- We were told that we must pay extra 69 CAD for other taxes paid at the boarder. We had no option but to obey.
- During the process we were told we will be refunded the fees after the package arrival.
- When we applied for the refund after the arrival of the package, we recieved a very short email says "Dear valued customer: No refund ".
Very poor service. We were confused due to the contradicting messages over phone. We paid almost 110$ to send an envelope in 16 days... these guys are loosing their track and definitely thier management is extremely weak.
FedEx left a new JBL stereo amp on a wet dirt driveway 3 houses away from my house... I was at home expecting the delivery at the time... One of my neighbors found it on the wet ground beside a street side garbage can as it was getting dark that evening... She saw the delivery lady down the street and confronted her about it and the lady blabbed something about her boss that my neighbor couldn't understand and jumped in her van and sped off... Lucky me again I guess...

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
