The bag I ordered had been altered. When I spoke with an agent the said the alteration was noted internally but not in the description. So I returned and they still made me pay for shipping, though I requested they refund shipping since the description was false. I have sold to FP and purchased from, but will not again.

I was so afraid to pay this much for a bag sight unseen except for photos. So, just to be sure, I asked to see more. Immediately, of the advisors emailed me probably 40 of the most detailed photos close up and of every corner and angle of the bag. The bag in the photos was perfect. But, until it was in my hands, I was still so worried. When I got my box I couldn't believe my eyes... if this bag was ever used it might have been once. It looked like brand new and had the original LV box and dust bag. This was the best experience ever. Only one thing I was not happy about... I wish there was more of the signature round confetti in my box LOL :)

I have been buying handbags, belts, and small accessories from Fashionphile for years and it's always a good experience. Compared to other luxury resale sites, I find that Fashionphile's rating system is harsh -- a "shows wear" bag I purchase usually looks perfect to me. That's a good thing -- I'm never disappointed. Also, I love that they accept returns. Sometimes I'm interested in a bag that I haven't seen live before and it's great to be able to hold it, and see how it looks and works for me before being obligated to it. As long as Fashionphile keeps the current quality and return policy, they have a customer for life.
I've been checking out Fashionpile for awhile considering if I should have purchased my MCM Bag. And for getting it under $400 was a steal. I love my bag.
The purchasing process was easy. The merchandise arrived in a timely fashion being a week after purchase. However the box arrived torn, bent/partially crushed and due to the box damage there was an opening in the box. The sight irritated me and had me alarmed but once I opened the parcel and inspected the purse I was satisfied.

However, the communication with Fashionphile is extremely poor - it was IMPOSSIBLE to actually speak to a human being when I called to ask a question, NO ONE EVER answered the phone, you were just put on hold, until you were forced to hang up. Not everyone can stay on hold for 2 HOURS. I did receive a reply to my email inquiry, but not for at least 4 days.
I do know of other clients who have purchased from Fashionphile and have heard the SAME complaint.
It is always so easy and sometimes fiscally challenging, to not want to buy everything you see on Fashionphile. They curate and seek out the nicest and trendiest pieces. Some are hard to find drops that sold out or are more exclusive and some are vintage. I am always impressed by the thoroughness of the details in which they list the condition of the item, their scoring they use is always honest with photos. On top of it being seamlessly easy to find products by brand, size, color, etc, their prices are fair. I will definitely be back for more lux treats.
