I purchased Saint Laurent polo shirt medium bordeux color, to my surprise when I openned the package it was Prada polo shirt with the same size and color. As much as I wanted to return it for an exchange I cannot do it because the item was taxed U. S $105.00 something equivalent to Philippine Peso 5,541.80 to be exact.
I emailed farfetch regarding the mistaje done by their third party merchant. But only a return item and purchase again the right designer brand polo shirt this time to be taxed again twice, even if I'm willing to pay for the full price of the item.
Now, I'm paying the mistake of their merchant. Where is the justice here.
Can you blame me for being harsh and rude if wrong or unwanted item was shipped?!
As a businessman we should know how to accept our mistake and compensate our valued clients as they are the critical purchasers of us. As much as we can please them in order to keep them within us.
I did not even ask for any free shipping nor soecial discount code. All I ask was just to declare under value on the official so that I won't be taxed. This is just a simple request from their valued purchaser for almost one year.
I'm very disappointed with the service if farfetch. Instead of their service getting better, it's becoming worse.
Fart-fetch sizing... Most confusing sizing:
FR = 46 = KENZO 38
Can you tell what size (inches) this is?... it's 28 inches by the way... wtf?!
Fart-fetch missed not one but TWO scheduled return pick up appointments... Surely they emailed, texted, or called me to let me know they'll be late or won't be coming AT ALL... So I won't have to have changed my schedules for the pick up for nothing, right?... NOPE! Not an email, not a text, not a call, nothing, not even afterward to apologize! I had to call in for tyem to find out THEY had missed BOTH... SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS with their customers! But the absolute WORST is getting an email telling me they've noticed that the return product is already on its way back to them... When it is stillbsitting in front of me awaiting pick up... WTF is going onat FART-FETCH? It's OUTRAFEOUS! How can I ever trust FART-FETCH ever againbafter that ridiculous lie?...
My husband bought 2 Golden Goose sneakers over Christmas, one for me one for my sister in law. Within a month that I could wear them a couple of times (a bit cold for sneakers in January!) I noticed the tongue of the shoe acting weird and rolling under my foot, very uncomfortable and not expected for a $400+ sneaker in only a couple of wears.
I contacted customer service right away and they were really nice and friendly, solved it within a few weeks by refunding 50%. They wouldn't take them back but at least it's annoying deficiency wouldn't hurt as much for half the price (still pretty pricey!). My sister in law told me she was having the same issue so I told them about it, sent fotos of her pair as well and would've gladly sent the shoes back.
I questioned the authenticity but apparently it came from different sources so I trusted that yet was still upset with the defect and the money spent. In the second case, they offered no option or refund. After getting very upset about it, they offered a 10% which seemed like a joke when they had just acknowledged the issue and different compensation for the other pair (for which I still paid a high price even with the discount!). They told me it was too late - within a month and a half for her shoes! Such a supposedly high quality sneaker shouldn't fall apart within a month and a half plus I wasn't warned they could turn out so bad so we didn't try them right away with snow on the streets!
I was very disappointed with how Farfetch handled the situation. All good if things go well but if they don't, good luck, you're on your own.

I received the wrong item four times in 12 months: First a Rick Owens bag - different model. Then, blue Neil Barrett jeans? Nope, black. Saint Laurent leather boots? Nope, Suede! Velvet waistcoat? Nope! Incompetent/Dishonest, or somewhere in-between. Its Okay for one or two orders if you're lucky enough to actually receive what you ordered, and if not, well refunds were processed quickly enough until now so I continued to shop. Big mistake. Finally, I returned a waistcoat which was meant to be velvet but I received something clearly NOT VELVET! I returned it. Thought they would apologise and send out the correct one but... the boutique (a little shop in Italy) has claimed to have received something other than what was sent out?! Now, i've spent probably thousands on this website and they're claiming I've returned the wrong waistcoat costing £140! Despite me raising the error and posting two photos, one showing a non velvet waistcoat and the other clearly showing a plastic tag hanging from the garment displaying the Boutique's name! They claim they don't sell it, despite their tag hanging from it! Do Farfetch really believe I had a spare waistcoat hanging around?! It's bizarre and I have to pay for this stupid error. If they're capable of sending out the wrong waistcoat in the first place maybe they're also mistaken in thinking they've received the 'wrong item' which i've returned. Yet Farfetch has chosen to side with the 'boutique' and obviously not given much thought to the evidence provided. It took weeks for customer service to reply with all their "you'll have to pay, Thanks for understanding but have a wonderful weekend" nonsense. I do all my shopping online and after thousands of orders Farfetch has been the only time i've ever had a dispute. Congratulations! Very troubling and I will pursue this dispute as a a matter of principle and fairness. Shame on you Farfetch!

Answer: In my experience, as far as genuine items go, yes. My recommendation to you is, research the store you're buying from, because your experience can be 0 or 5 stars depending who you're buying from. I bought a new Valentino bag and received an used one from a store called Gente Roma. Farfetch did nothing other than contact the store and politely reply back to me that there was nothing they could do about it! They made the sale, they're making money off me, off course they should have done something. Nope. I could return the bag, which was an option regardless. Gente Roma was so disonest about the condition of the bag, I was afraid they would blame me for sending back a used bag and only give me a patial refund. I felt my safest option was to keep the bag. On the other hand, when I bought a pair of Valentino shoes from Exelsior Milano my experience was flawless. From the fast shipping, to the packaging to shoes that had never been opened. Moral to the story: if Farfetch doesn't have to get involved, you're golden. If not, don't bother with them. Call the Pope or your credit card and dispute your charges instead. You'll have a better chance of getting something.
