Unbelievable
November 23, 2018

I have been on hold for over an hour now. I called exactly when my movie was scheduled to begin and got disconnected 20 mins after and called back and I am still on hold. See photo for reference. I am reading all of these reviews and I am a little skeptical on how this will end. Will I get my refund or not? Stay tuned!

My ticket was totally wrong, had to make a special trip to the movie theater to correct it and re-do the seat-selection before the good seats ran out. Reported to Fandango, and they stated "the convenience fee is non-refundable"

- really, what in any way was convenient about that.

Horrible service, no refunds once so ever and my promo code said redeemed but it was not. I am so pissed at this service and I will never use them again. There is no going back once you buy a ticket for them. Just go to the theater

No Customer Service

I purchased two tickets -- Immediately had an act of God disable my car before we could go see our movie. I asked them if we could just get additional tickets to see a future time -- They said that they cannot do that. No explanation, nothing. Garbage customer service.

Never works

Fandango has never worked for us. We have rented and purchased several movies off of the site and there is always a connection issue. We do not have problems with any other sites except for fandango. We have invited people over to purchase a movie and it just spins over and over. We will no longer waste our time or money trying to purchase any movies off of this website. Very disappointed because they have good choices but it doesn't matter because you can't watch it anyways.

I will never buy my tickets from your website again.
Because your policy is very poor.
Couple weeks ago we had to return our tickets because we had some family emergency but you guys didn't return it. Not helpful at all. Policy makes a big difference in business.

I will never purchase tickets to this site. Me and my husband tried to refund tickets because we had to take care of an emergency situation but they would not refund tickets. They don't care about customers and you can't even speak with a live person... only through chat. Whoever owns this company will have their karma. Do not ever purchase tickets from this website. It's a rip off. Shame on you! I won't even give you a star. Horrible experience!

What a joke.

I wish I could leave 0 stars for this joke of a company/website. Every time I try to use it there is always an error or it sells me tickets to the wrong theater. Then, when I submit my complaint, they send me an email stating they will get back to me within 72 hours... 72 hours? Im going to the movie tonight. Ill take my chances buying tickets at the door and will never use this laughable resource ever again!

Unless you really know what you are doing on the app, don't bother. Even when the app screws up, the company won't fix or make it right. You're out of luck and out of $$. Shameful. No benefit of the service, whatsoever, especially after they take their fees for tickets purchased.

Why a convenience fee? Had to pay a "convenience fee" at least $4.00 more for 2 Senior Tickets-Now that's a deal if you're stupid & $9. Something for a child. This card was a gift but I didn't expect this kind of cost for convenience. Won't see me buying these "gifts to put it to you cards"!

Bought 2 gift cards, gift card applied fine but I kept getting an error when trying to complete purchase: “We are sorry, but an internal error has occurred”. Wasted 2 hours with customer support but they can't assist with purchasing, just giving advice. I've tried 2 different PCs and an app, same error. Will never use again.

Walked up to my local theater and handed them my gift cards, and was told "you can only redeem them on the internet". Great. Two weeks later, next movie, I redeemed them on the internet. You have to choose your movie theater and time--don't miss it or you're out of luck. And oh yeah, the "simple and convenient" service charge of $1.50 per movie ticket? These people suck, don't ever use them.

Will never use again! I purchased tickets online using my phone and accidentally purchased twice. Called them immediately to let them know what happened and they refused to credit me on the second charge. Just ridiculous!

I tried to buy a movie collection off of their website and was met with an error message. I tried to contact customer support via email and waited the full 72 hours they claim to respond in. No response. I sent another email and have yet to receive a response. In the mean time I tried contacting support through the live chat service, and though it said my estimated wait time was 2:52, I was sitting there for about 10 minutes. Its as if no one is even manning customer support at all.

I waited 25 minutes for customer service chat that sucked. I was typing my messages and the service person got on like every minute and said "are you there?" Like it takes a while to describe a situation. Very rude, very unhelpful, hate fandango.

Worst ever!

Worst customer service I've ever had! Tried to use fandango to order Star Wars ticket. Ordered them for the wrong day (honest mistake) tired to exchange my tickets. Tried to call customer service and was told there were too many calls, so I would up waiting for three hours on hold to try and fix my mistake. I was told I'm out of tickets because I didn't catch my error in enough time. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they'd email me when they had time.

A couple of years ago I was given a Fandango gift card, what a rip off: I payed a premium price for basic movie tickets (fees added) was left with a few dollars balance after one use at my local theater. The only way I could use the leftover $$ was to put more money on the card so I could pay outrageous prices. No thank you

I wanted to buy two tickets for a dollar theater, I clicked add two tickets at $1.00 each, the total said $2.00. I added my credit card information and then clicked submit order, scrolled down the page about an inch and saw that at the last second they tacked on a $2.70 service charge... ON A $2 PURCHASE. Seriously worst company ever.

The movie I needed a refund for was at 820 PM, I finally was able to speak to them after being on hold for 2 hours and being kicked off the online queue 3 times and left without a call back at 1233 PM. I was told they would need to send my refund request to corporate. I was emailed a response by the corporate the next morning denying my refund with the reason that it was past showtime so they could not give me one. This is a terrible company, I have emailed them back with no response other than I could go speak to the theater manager and have him call to allow fandango to release the funds. Terrible, terrible, terrible! This company basically stole 100 dollars from me, never ever use this service!

My movie was cancelled because of a power blackout. I contacted Fandango to get a refund and got a stock negative response about not offering refunds after movie times. They obviously could not be bothered to contact the theater to verify what happened. Normally if I buy a service through a third party in exchange I expect extra service, but in this case I got less. Really not acceptable.
